If any of you guys know who he is, (Maybe the Hispanic posters know) he was considered the "mini shakespeare" of his time, admired all throughout Latin America and in the world.
Born in Mexico in 1929, Roberto Gomez Bolanos or better known as "Chespirito" was an actor, comedian, playwrighter, writer, screenwriter, composer, director and producer of Mexican television. He was the creator and performer of El Chavo del Ocho and El Chapulin Colorado, among others.
Funny because when I went down to South America (Argentina/Brazil) and mentioned I was Mexican, they referenced Chespirito everywhere I went, same in Cuba and showed their love for "El Chavo". I gamed girls in Argentina using Chespirito renferences.
"El Champulin Colorado"
^^^Which was an inspiration for this character from the Simpsons
I grew up watching this shit and watching it with family and grandparents. It brings back nostalgia watching the re-runs on TV.
Just wanted to make a thread on this news because his shows have helped my game when it came to Spanish humor, similar to how Sienfield is good when learning humor for game. A learned a lot from watching this shows and recommed it for those guys who needs to brush up on their Spanish and learn Spanish humor for game.
True legend and may he rest in peace.
