Maybe the point interest is beyond my comprehension then because girls say all kinds of shit and you can catch them in all kinds of contradictions or levels of shit tests, which may or may NOT be interesting to pursue these topics with her in order to attempt to figure out the situation.

Also, some girls and relationships are full of lots of drama, if you can tolerate such, and sometimes the level of drama and contradictions may call for a quick exodus.

The question is too limiting, since looks are just one of the factors in a man. While with women it makes 70-80% of their attraction, with men Fame, Wealth, Game-Dominance, Height, Nationality, Race, His Job, Social Status, Rumored to have a Big Dick, Six-Pack etc. - all are reasons not only to fuck an ugly man, but also in many instances those are reasons to even date those guys.

Which brings up an important point. If you're a guy who is lacking in one area, you can make up for it by taking on a "persona."

For example, if you're facially-challenged, you can grow a beard, wear a headband, and become a biker. Then you're not the ugly dude, you're "biker guy." Who cares if you're bike only has 2K miles on it? It's the image that matters.

My own example (which I've written about here) is that by keeping my hair long, people see me as "hippie guy" before they notice I'm short. I discovered this in college when I first grew my hair.

Guys who are outliers need to capitalize on this concept. Such guys can't compete on the same playing field as the guys I call "the white-shirt crew" -- those are the cookie-cutter men I see at lunch hour who all seem to be the same average height and build and wear the same white shirts to work every day.
