Thanks for the pics and review Windom Earle.

I agree with Germanico, it looks better in your pictures. It's a lot less shiny in your pictures, which is why I think it looks better. The color is also a lot nicer than that red.

Now I'm thinking about it.

Anyone know a good duffle bag with wheels? I need one that fits the 62 inch airline rule for checked bags.

But it needs to be tough since I might have some light stands inside of it. Along with clothes, etc.

There are some good ones that have 4 stars and better on amazon but always some guy giving it a one star that talks about how it failed on its maiden voyage.

I am thinking of not spending a fortune on it since all I really need is for it to make a one time round trip and I would strap it with a couple of luggage belts to ensure that it is tight.

I am looking at something like this. http://www.amazon.com/Olympia-Luggage-Po...2661618011

Or this one http://www.ebags.com/product/samsonite/a...rtItemId=1

But would appreciate any other suggestions.

I would somewhat recommend Eddie Bauer. There are definitely more stylish bags available, but I bought this one when finances were important and still use it when I need to.

A bag like this, though mine is dark red and charcoal in color and more compact:

It's my winter overseas duffle when I need to carry an extra jacket and bulky clothes. I use a DaKine bag for my summer trips but this one has done well for rolling through airports as a checked bag and over the shoulder on cobblestone streets in Europe.

Put some condoms in the bag. I personally also have a spare phone charger. I use a red travel duffle bag when I go out for the night.

They didn't make bags good enough to carry my shit, so I had to make my own:

Full grain English leather, solid brass buckles, stitched with linen thread waxed with beeswax. All my own design, right down to the colour.

Gym and Travel Bag

Also getting a bugout bag as well.

Has a plastic back spine that's removable and a removable bladder as well.

I've always been a backpack kind of guy, never ever had a duffel bag.

Bumping an old thread.

I had an older leather bag that finally bit the dust a few months ago.

I stumbled across this one at a garage sale today. Heard good things about Pathfinder luggage, and it's hardly been used, so I figured it's worth the $10.

Seems to be pretty well made, looks durable enough. I'm headed south in another month or so, I'm hoping this holds up.

Reviving an old thread as I received an e-mail notification about Floto duffles on sale.

Still getting great use out of mine all these years on.

I bought this bag a month ago, just a different color.

I have a duffle bag for the first time in my life, and it's great!

Nice. I keep a bag with toiletries and change of clothes in the trunk of my car at all times, with an inflatable mattress as well. Super convenient and frees you up to do stuff on the fly without having to worry about changing clothes or where you're going to crash

Gary Waterfield designs & MAKES these bags here in the good ol' USA. By far the best bags I've owned have been from his website.

I heard they were all pink on the inside but I wasn't sure until now.
