I do like the DGAF attitude though. If someone doesn't like it, no one really gets offended (gonna exclude Bay area SJW's here lol). Other parts of the US not liking it can be dangerous. Anyone can use EBT at most fast food places. Most places, it would be pandemonium. CA, let's read rising signs or goto the beach. Very different culture from the rest of the US.

Hopefully, the effort by the inland red counties in CA to create their own state is a serious effort and they'll keep pushing it.

People think that the SF & LA represent ALL of California, outside of those places and Silicon Valley there are red counties and alot of red.

Just because this state votes blue during elections doesn't mean there isn't a strong undercurrent of resentment.

I even see liberals getting angrier and angrier about raising housing prices, another gas tax increase, registration going up, car insurance going up, and more tax measures being implemented.

When you fuck with peoples money and their way of living - that's the ultimate redpill for middle class liberals.

Upper class/limousine liberals will never change, why you ask ? Because as Papaya mentioned, their on the good side of the fence, in their gated off neighborhoods.

For the rest of the people who get fucked money talks>social justice walks

Sooner or later CA Gov will piss off the mainstream middle class liberals aka their main tax base.

As for Trump, he stuck it to blue states like California with the tax bill, meaning that property taxes in excess of $10k per year are no longer countable for a tax deduction. Works great to stick it to liberals in blue states that have overinflated real estate, but more than a few conservatives can been caught up by the new law. Still, a net benefit in the grand scheme of things. California is ground zero for illegal invaders into other states, so anything that hastens the collapse is probably for the best in the end. The only way out is if Trump started arresting the criminals running this state and charging them with treason. I love the man, but am not sure he's willing to go far enough. More than a few of California's "leaders" should be strung up by a rope. They aren't loyal to the Constitution, they are loyal to their embezzling and cheating ways, and the illegals and anyone else who keeps them in power. Prison would be too good for these scum.

That's for "primary residence" not investment property. Dont ever think that anyone in government will ever "stick it" to their own, much less himself. Even Trump. There's always a loophole. They just get hidden better and better

We're talking about averages here. The average person is having a harder time than ever trying to live in this state. Trump or anyone else can afford to hire an army full of lawyers and accounts to reduce their tax bill. The middle-class Californian can not, and those are the ones that once you reach a critical mass exodus, things will really accelerate. How much can the average person really take before they pack up and move elsewhere? I have half a dozen friends right now looking at other states. They are upper-middle class people and middle-class who will take many tax dollars with them. That's my point. I foresee further tax revenue leaving in the form of citizens who have breaking points.

My car insurance premium for two cars jumped from $1,600 to $2,900 for six months. Gas prices are approaching $4.00 and will hit $5.00 by summer. They added an extra $100 to each car's registration renewal notice to finance bullet-train-to-gay-francisco. This alone will make Commifornia unlivable for most people cause owning a car is a must.

Rents are out of control in LA County but nobody seems to give a flying fuck. Silicon Valley soiboiz are moving to LA and bringing with them their SJWLGBTQXYZism. Two days ago I was around the Skid Row and the homeless population has doubled in two years. It has been a very dry season for SoCal and water prices will definitely go up in spring. Traffic is getting out of control. I can't find a single positive thing to say about the future of this beautiful state. The pension crisis will cripple its finances and make it worse than Tijuana. In addition, being a conservative sane person is becoming more and more dangerous. Cali will become a classic case of dystopia in the next decade.

Doy you have transportable skills that you can take to another state? For all the reasons you mentioned and more, it is becoming more and more unlivable. This is especially true if you've lived here all your life and have seen the slow, but steady descent into madness.

True, Hilldawg would have bailed out all her "friends" like the crony she is. Thank God we don't have her in office! *shudder*

I have a CPA certification so my skills are very transportable. This new tax reform will make living in coastal cities unattainable for 99% of US population. That $10,000 limit is not limited to your property taxes. It includes all state and local taxes paid during the year.

California has the highest capital gain tax rate in the world combined with the federal rate (about 50%) and one of the highest income taxes among the states. If you own a $800k home, which is about the average in LA County, your property tax payments alone will exceed this $10,000 limit. The state income, excise, sales, and capital gain taxes will be excluded. For someone earning $100k, they pay at least $10k in state income tax which CANNOT be claimed as an itemized deduction on their Schedule A as a result of new limitation. So, this makes the effective tax rate about 40-45% not counting sales, gas, excise, and capital gain taxes.

I don't consider moving yet cause my parents, friends and the majority of relatives live here. Fresno is the only affordable and somewhat conservative city in California I would move to but it is too boring for me. For long term, I consider Florida, Georgia and Wyoming. Plus, I have been successful in converting my friends from normies into Trump supporters so there is still hope that we can win this place back.

Is San Diego more politically moderate because of the huge number of military facilities and personnel there?

Orange County and San Diego used to be Republican bastions. They aren't anymore. Even places like San Bernardino and desert cities are mostly liberal leaning. Due to increase in housing costs, many people move from coastal regions into neighboring counties. People think that San Francisco and West Hollywood are the most gay-friendly cities in the world. Actually, the most gay-friendly city in the world is Palm Springs. Just read this article to get an idea.

http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-me-pa...story.html

"But now, the city is marking a new milestone in gay politics as well. When the two new members of the Palm Springs City Council are sworn in next month, every person on the panel will be a member of the LGBTQ community.

Lisa Middleton, a transgender woman, and Christy Holstege, a woman who identifies as bisexual, each won about 30% of the citywide vote to beat four other candidates and fill two vacant seats on the council. The pair will join three gay men on the five-person body."

The only red districts in California are Central Valley and the upper north-eastern counties.

People just assume that coastal counties = blue and inland counties = red. It's not the case as a lot of the inland / rural counties still vote left winger local politicians into office and generally are more blue collar democrat than they are blue collar right wing.

I checked out the election results and San Diego and the counties surrounding LA (Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside) aren't as nutty as I thought they were. Still majority blue but at least it's more reasonable.

LA and pretty much all of the Bay Area are full of retards.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere in California long-term.

Palm Springs, California pays for advertising here in Toronto to pitch travel to the cities many buggers here. SF buggers travel to Toronto to experience a more liberal environment; I kid you not. Let Toronto be a warning for what urban California will degenerate into.

The 44th Congressional District covers south-central LA, including Watts, Compton, and Lynwood. It'll be interesting to see if the residents in that area would be willing to vote for a Republican.

Oh God... I came so close to banging a 54 year old woman this weekend. She was in fantastic shape and had a BF but was really DTF. Honestly the only reason I didn't is because I was feeling so sick. Otherwise that would have been the best night of her life!

So... would I hit it with Stacey Dash? Fuck Yeah I would!

But if you gave me the choice of sex with her, or seeing her in congress... I'd choose congress.
