"I'm bored"

It's impossible for some people to be bored.

Likewise, it's impossible for some people to be over stimulated.

I understand the meaning of the word boredom but I don't know it. I've never once been bored.

If you cut the internet and confined me to my bedroom right now for two weeks I would almost rejoice. Boy do I have some kindle books to get through.

It's a beautiful contrast.

Back on topic though; Losers say "Fuck Trump".

"It's so hard to get out of bed every morning"

I always take that as you have nothing to get out of bed for. Only losers have nothing to get out of bed for or the lack of energy to do it on a day to day basis.

"Thats not who i am"

Unless you have a genetic predisposition to not do something, there is no excuse.

Constant reminder of past milestone event.

Losers usually have at least one past event that they believe may have changed their life if it have gone their way. This could be anything from a sport injury that shut their professional sport career prospects(even though it happened in highschool) to a missed opportunity that they were offered but stupidly declined. They think they are the only person that this has happened to and since they can't reverse time, all hope is lost.

I've caught myself a few times using this on the forum [Image: confused.gif]

I've also noticed this is used consistently on Reddit (I don't even read or have a reddit account)

But by links that are posted on here.

Losers are the kind of people who disregard any statement or plan of action simply on the basis of the fact that another person doesn't share the same vice. Even degrading someone's ideas or thoughts because of lack of experience with said vice.

Met an old friend a while back(smart cat last I saw him) and this guy is now blowing through $90 every time he wants to get high on pot. He continued to disregard anything I was saying while we were producing music or talking life with other people we were with simply on the basis that I wasn't high like him or had lots of experience getting high/dealing like the other guys with us(whom were also getting tired of his shit).

Then he proceeded to sit on his ass and insisted on smoking pot instead of working with the rest of us. I never thought somebody could become that big of a junky that they think they have some form of superiority over others.

Needless to say everyone cut contact with him after the other night besides selling him shit.

"I don't need to lift weights, brains are more important than brawn!"

I used to have this mindset, and I regret not getting out of it sooner. Strength and smarts aren't mutually exclusive, and increasing both is great for your own improvement as well as boosting your own attractiveness level. This AOM article really changed my perspective on the role of strength and masculinity.

"Just be yourself"

In other words, do nothing. I'm not saying that you have to copy someone else, but you should always be working to become a stronger version of yourself. That may involve losing weight, reading, studying, or otherwise improving in some area. When people tell you to just be yourself, it's usually implied that there's no necessary action needed on your part. Walking around as if the world owes you something just for existing is never a good mindset to be in.

There is nothing that identifies to me a loser as much as the phrase "you made me..." spewing from their maw.

Losers are losers because they have yet to understand personal responsibility. As esteemed RVF member jariel said "It's a dog-eat-dog world, there are no victims, just those who are being honest to the reality that they are operating within, and those whose reality isn't honest"

The fundamental truism of human existence is its capacity for decision making & therefore the innate understanding of choice. Every waking moment from birth until death we are making decisions based on the degree of & types of choices available to us at any given time.

Whether it's an early infancy decision to try using our new-found finger muscles to wrap our hand around a parents finger or using vocal chords to raise our mothers attention or even the instinctual decision to take our first breath, every split second of every waking moment we are evaluating choices & making decisions of varying degree.

I am currently still experiencing the anger phase of my unplugging. It has been going for a long time & I have finally reached the place that I do not want to feel angry anymore. Yes its justified, but frankly its not helping me anymore.

My anger is holding me back, so I must address it or sink.

I will not sink.

The only person who can help me out of this is me. I am currently reading Albert Bernstein's Emotional Vampires at Work. Within it he makes the point about anger management quite succinctly...

Quote:Quote:

The one key insight upon which treatment for anger or any other emotional outburst is based is that emotions are something you do as opposed to being inevitable reactions to other's misbehaviour

The phrase "You made me..." signifies that person does not have control over any given situation. You have as much control as you decide to give away.

Losers prefer to lose. To them, it's easier than facing themselves & taking personal responsibility.

Lose on, loser.

I'm at a college circle jerk awards ceremony now trading my time for free food. the first award goes to a male feminist who talks about how his organization "gave him an outlet to vocalize all the gender inequality he noticed since he was young."

First of all, male feminist.
Second of all, yeah, like you need an outlet for that.

Some people here brag about how little they sleep and how "I need my eight hours of sleep" is a loser sentence.

Fuck that shit sleep is good and good sleep is a worthwile pursuit. Neuroscientists even call our work/school schedule as 'torture' because waking up at 7/7:30 is NOT how our biology is.

The best time for most 20/30 somethings to wake up is 9:30 AM.

For the ordinary man, yes. But many of the top leaders of our time, whether in business, politics, sports didn't need "average" sleep. Some folks are just biologically programmed to not need much.

Whilst I agree wholeheartedly that deep and rejuvenating sleep is necessary, 09:30 is way past first light for most latitudes and therefore out of whack with the bodies circadian rhythm.

Once I started taking zma and melatonin my body forces me awake at 5:30/6am. It's hard for me to sleep past that. If I shower and bang the lady i can fall back asleep but i'll end up having a groggy day because of it.

I envy people who don't need that much sleep. I become a terrible asshole if I don't sleep.

Yes, you can say anything if you're willing to deal with the consequences. Safe language is for people who do not want to pay attention to the context that words are used in.

I absolutely love hearing this as a response to something I've said. Especially when it's said by a girl because it's the verbal version of the shoulder punch.

"I made some mistakes," the battlecry of people who chronically fuck up at life.

It's not that I can't tolerate people making mistakes, it's that people misuse the word in an incredibly self-serving way. A mistake is something that happens when you're at least attempting to do the right thing. A basketball player missing a free throw is a mistake. A math student making a calculator type-o is a mistake. Supplicating a girl when she's being bitchy is a mistake. Getting a PhD in a field that ends in "studies" is a mistake. You get the idea; in all of these cases, the person at the time believes he is doing what's best.

But usually what people try to excuse as "mistakes" are willfully malicious actions. Using heroin over and over, to the point where your body can't do without it, is not a mistake. You knew exactly what you were getting into and did it anyway. Shoplifting is not a mistake. You deliberately chose to violate someone else's property rights. Flunking out of school is not a mistake. Unless you're mentally disabled, you knew you could've passed your classes by putting in a little effort, but you chose not to. By that same token, getting fat is not a mistake.

People who excuse examples like those as "oh well, humans make mistakes" are the kind of pathetic losers that have absolutely no standards for their own behavior.

Many top leaders of hour team nap a lot and take siestas. You are right in a way http://amolife.com/personality/great-peo...-less.html

They sleep little because they work so much. It is not that they work so much because they sleep so little.

In summary:

Six hours to 11 hours of sleep per night for individuals between the ages of 18 and 25 may be suitable, or six hours to 10 hours for those between the ages of 26 and 64.
