Britons 'liable to Sharia divorces' in UAE

This is too good. Some western woman moves to Dubai, she attempts to divorce her husband expecting a 'western style' divorce and all the trimmings.... instead she loses custody and gets deported.

The transcript provided by the court criticizes her for not obeying her husband, going to nightclubs and having gay friends.

The entitlement and shock at not receiving this entitlement in the video is epic.

This bitch should have obeyed her husband and not fraternise with homosexuals.

I think I have found where I am moving too.

Westerners shocked that other countries allowed to have their own laws.

This is sort of happening on a larger scale. Western women and leftists craving for foreign patriarchies, where there was a system already in place in Western civilisation that in fact worked far better. I say let them eat cake.

Sounds to me like she cared more about her gay friends and clubbing than her own family.

This is some of the best news I've read all day.

Is it possible--just possible--to imagine a budding little industry where intelligent, internationally-minded men smell that a marriage is going south, and then maneuver a hated spouse into taking a trip to the Arabian Gulf "for a new job." (!)

Once there and residency is established, she is now subject to the local divorce laws. Our enterprising man files for divorce (by simply saying "I divorce thee, I divorce thee, I divorce thee!"). The now ex-spouse is promptly put on the next plane home, with only pocket money and cab fare.

And that is the end of that.

^^ That's brilliant.

Maybe you don't even have to go there. If they charged 100K for citizenship, some rich guys would gladly pay it.

I'll bet their are some local government officials who'd gladly hook you up for half that sum.

You do realise you are talking about a country in which 34% of Emirati females have their clits sliced off (usually before the age of 5) so they can experience no sexual pleasure.

That your kind of country?

You do realize that has nothing to do with the topic of conversation?

200 years ago in the West, the man was giving main custody as well in a divorce proceeding. Sometime during the 1800's the pussification of the Western male began. That was also when Christianity started to slip as well.

For all the faults of the Muslims, one cannot say things are bad for a well-off man there.

This is the application in the countries of the gulf.
And it is different from how it is done in Maghreb, Africa, Asia, America.

If you mean by this that only Gulf countries are true Muslims then you are the ones who should shut up.

You are the one trying to start trouble whereas neither me or Samseau were confrontationnal here.

About the subject: It's a good thing for men, regarding custody battles. However, the interpretations of the Islamic Law differ, from regions of the globe. Most Imams in West Africa will not automatically grant custody to the father, but will rather conduct a bit of investigation before. However, it is still far less biased in favor of women, for sure.

I believe this is true. It's because they crave male attention without the threat of dominance (from cock) or its consequences. Plus gays are like girl bff without the competition. Girls really loathe competition. So socially they favor gays or at least have a gay lord in their entourage. Elsewhere they are all about riding the carousel but when they are done they will retreat into the social comfort of their gay blade.

But don't they secretly jalouse them too? If the gay guy has success with men, and the girl, not so much

I wouldn't call it jealousy or envy. More like resignation. Women are inherently insecure creatures so when they see their gay buddy score men who are hotter than they can they just look at themselves as flawed somehow. They internalize it and let it seep into their psyche in various ways.

If a man sees another man score a hot girl he tends to ask himself "why the fuck am I not doing that?" because men are naturally able to rationalize and quantify their self worth in a productive way.

So I asked my mom, which lives in Senegal, about the customs of the country ( she knows way better than me).

There are two possibilities of divorce: traditionnal, and legal.

-Traditionnal

When one of the spouses wants to leave, some members of the two families generally meet, to try to find an agreement ( good luck with that in Western World) . When the divorce seems unavoidable, the two families will figure together the terms of the separation ( yes, sometimes the spouses are not even in the same room when that happens). Imagine that in Europe/US! They conduct the negociations, and only after that is the divorce official.
Custody: generally, children that are too young ( up to 3 years ) go with the mother (logical, after all) . But the others go to the parent with the most means.

-Legal

When the wife (usually) goes to court: first, the judges try to find an agreement with her. If she wants to divorce for some motives like "he promised monogamy, but took a second wife", they may tell her to reconsider her decision, tell her it was the same for them, etc . They will usually never take automatically the woman's side at least.
When a spouse leaves the house , then the winner is usually the other spouse [Image: smile.gif]
They may not request one of the spouses to leave the house if the other "feels" uncomfortable with his/her presence. Only if there is evidence that there may be a risk for the other. You heard? EVIDENCE. No bias like in Western world, where a single complaint from the wife is enough for a judge to order the husband to leave.

You do not get automatically stripped of your common house too if the custody goes to the mother.
Alimony is reasonable too.

So to summarize:

In Senegal, when you divorce ( generally religiously AND legally), both families try to settle the disagreement. A consensus is always aimed for, we priviledge a bad agreement rather than a good trial.
Even the judges try to reconciliate the spouses before issuing divorce.

TL;DR
If you want to get married, come to Senegal. There are a lot of young, healthy women, and you won't be screwed as hard ( if not at all) as in Western World if you divorce.
You have a white god factor too (actually, European/American god factor, even if you are black). However, homosexuality is punishable by the law ( [Image: biggrin.gif] ) , and so is adultery too [Image: tongue.gif]

Edit:
Just for you, in case you come to Senegal: footage of what to expect about nightlife, on the dance floor [Image: tongue.gif]
