I know a few tall guys who get tons of pussy. But I know a few who get none, and they are the most bitter. It's almost a reverse napoleon complex. They have a "I'm tall, how do people shorter than me get so many more women" attitude.

I'm 5'9. Almost never been a problem, especially since I worked out and watched what I ate (I was skinny as a kid, then skinny fat for a year or so, then got in good shape). I say almost because a few years ago I went on one date with a very attractive girl who was a little taller than me. She told me afterwards that she liked me but needed to be with a guy taller than her. I wasn't offended at all, the way she said it plus her honesty was fine. I ended up dating her roommate for a while.

Anyway, I think all things being equal, women would prefer a taller guy, just like I preferred that my last gf had bigger tits. But her slim body, long hair and pretty face more than made up for it.

Either way, I'd be worried if a majority of these women were attractive. The comforting thing is 99% of these women, from feminists to 'height shamers', are butt heinously fat and/or ugly.

5'6 here. Never had trouble getting chicks after i got ripped. Then after learning game it became even easier. Women can say all the bullshit they want but at the end of the day if you look good and have the confidence to back it up theyl take your dick any way you want them to.

Exactly. I'm 5'6", and in my experience girls don't care that I'm objectively short, as long as I'm taller than them. The average female height in America is about 5'4", so that still leaves me more than half the women to hit on.

I've only known about game for three years, but wouldn't you know, the more effort I put into game, the more I got laid. I've been short my whole life, but that's not the variable that seemed to matter. Work on your strengths, minimize/forget about your weaknesses.

I was going to say something a long those lines. In college I was talking to this German chick and she consistently would tell me that she likes tall guys after going to a Latino gathering in which she thought everybody was short. She's 5'9 and I'm 5'5. A month later she was sucking dick and I was smashing her in my dorm after a party.

After that I realized that guys should take everything a woman says with a grain of salt, especially when it comes to height.

For the most part: true. But there are short girls who want a guy to be around 6'. It's just another requirement the typical overly-conceited American girl has. I think this is much less of an issue with European girls.

My dad helped me out by marrying a tallish mom. I would want to do the same for my own sons by giving them that advantage.

There was a study that showed that tall men make more money and qualify for more promotions. Same thing as thin people vs. fat.

Height itself is a status.

I'm chubby (currently doing lifting and carb backloading to remedy this), but my height of 6'3" masks this pretty well.

How tall a kid ends up depends on more than just how tall his parents are. And, his parents were affected by more than purely genetic factors. Height prediction based on parental heights might work on average, but there are a hell of a lot of outliers based on the people I've seen in my life. I'm taller than I "should" be, based on my parents heights, and my sister is shorter.

A girl's height isn't even on my radar when it comes to deciding if she's a good candidate to mate with. It matters implicitly, I suppose, because I find certain body types more attractive than others and height is part of that--historically the girls that turned me on the most were small and fit, 5'0 to 5'3 and athletic--but it's not an explicit concern. There are way too many other more important factors.

Tall girls are rare. Looking at census results in the US, only ~9.5% of girls 20-29 are over 5'8, which is what I consider tall for a girl. Most of those are going to be unattractive, so if you put heavy emphasis on height you're restricting your search for a mate to less than ~2% of the population of young women. Poor odds for uncertain return, IMO.

Well only like 2.5% of men (in the US) are over 6'2 to begin with. That's now, with modern medicine and nutrition. When people who are 70 now were in their 20s I strongly suspect there were a lot fewer men taller than 6'2.

There's some correlation, I'm not sure how strong, between height and dying younger, so a greater proportion of 6'2+ men would have died by 70.

People don't "shrink" with age, but they lose the strength necessary for good posture and start to hunch over with skeletal problems, spinal curvature and whatnot, which makes them appear shorter than if they were young and healthy. I know my dad seems shorter now than 10 years ago, and I didn't get any taller. His posture just isn't great anymore.

So, it's a combination of all those things.

Simple, shorter levers. Basic physics. But just as important is body shape/type. Ednomorph vs mesomorph vs ectomorph.

At 6'4" as an ectomorph I can seriously say from years of experience I've had to put in 2x if not 3x the lifting to achieve the same results as most guys in the 5'4"-6' range.

And the eating was horrendous for me. Obscene amounts of force feeding just to gain weight. Just the way it is.
