hiring a local personal assistant?
07-16-2014, 09:31 AM
I have too much work to handle everything and still live a balanced healthy life. I'm thinking of hiring someone to help me out.
Has anyone had any experience hiring one? Any advice or tips? (Anyone in the DC area looking to make some extra $$$? Haha)

A real assistant will be mote helpful if you have a lot of running around to do ie fedex dropoffs and stuff like that. A virtual assistant is much more limited but also much cheaper. I looked into virtual assistants after reading 4 hour workweek and hearing members here talk about it but found the cost was higher than many people claim...at leadt the companies I checked out. Also the nature of my business just doesnt lend itself to a virtual assistant. If I were to get back i to blogging or web content I would probably hire someone for easy but tedious stuff like forum commenting, backlinks, content writing, etc

I have a few things like that, but I'd also just like to hire them to help me with my work as well, like sitting side by side and asking me questions as we work together.
