^ Yeah, it really is a trip that it's so common here.
As soon as young boys start showing feminine tendencies, people start making little jokes about them being a ladyboy or gay. Teasing but half-serious too.
They're very good-natured about it and just laugh it off. So the vibe regarding gays is extremely lax.
Many of the men are very effeminate. Even straight guys can be really ambiguous and make you wonder. A lot of the women experiment with lesbianism as well.
well that sucks. Ive met a couple of german men who are married to Thai women here in my city and they were raving about how great Thai is for men which kinda implied that they dont have all that feminist bullshit over there. but to me feminism and pro gay shit goes hand in hand. I was never one of those guys who idealize asian culture and have the yellow fever but I kinda expected their culture to be more traditional. well... apparenty the western disease spread too far or maybe they just have really weird traditions.
It's just different. Much of what we see as weird or un-weird is largely based on the social constructs we were raised with, even if it's hard to accept that this is the case. In fact, I find it interesting that red pill ideas are so often rooted to a Western-based idea of masculinity rather than recognizing that what makes you a man - or what makes you "alpha" or "beta" often varies culture to culture.
And I really don't think the proliferation of gays in SEA has anything to do with Western feminism.
Hopefully this doesn't border too far on race trolling, but it almost comes across as a combination of genetics and culture. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of masculine Asian men too, but one only has to spend time in Asian cultures to be bewildered by how some of them (a lot of them) are so feminine in nature. Maybe it's caused by environmental or diet influences, but something leads to more feminine males.
Some gays are just like that. From the time they're born, they act, talk, walk, behave, and sometimes even look like a female. From their body language to the tone of their voice. By observing them, you can often tell they're gay long before they ever come out, and it looks like they didn't have much choice in the matter.
Not here to become the tranny supporter of the forum, but it does lend some credence to the concept of a man being born in a woman's body or vice versa.
I'm not going to walk around grumbling about these types of people. I think there is some truth to the idea that some homosexuals don't really have it in them to decide who they're attracted to.
On the other hand, you get people like a family member of mine who moved to San Francisco a year ago and is suddenly wearing her hair butched, going to gay pride events, and listing gender as genderqueer on FB. I know her very well, and I know she's only doing it because she's an impressionable person who follows the crowd and happened to go to college in the gay capital of the world.
I think that's sad. Gay people are outliers, not what we should upholding as some kind of ideal.
You seem a lot more bitter about them than I am, and I don't have the energy nor the desire to let their choices affect my life, but that element does annoy me too. Other than them trying to shove the whole issue on us and demonize white male heterosexuality, or aggressively come on to me, I could really care less what people do with their peters behind closed doors.
I do think it is a bit deviant to remove your natural sexual apparatus, but meh, who gives a shit. As long as they're honest about it and don't try to sneak their psuedo-vagina into my bed, anyways.
Okay, that's enough homo for me for one night. I need some sleep.
