Do you have any unusual phobias?

It's not a phobia, but I can't stand to have my blinds open and people outside my house being able to see in. I can fuck a chick at her place in a high rise with the lights on and blinds open, but It's intolerable at my home. I've banged broads on their own balconies at night. But if I can see out of my windows at home I feel uneasy. Maybe it's a vulnerability thing. Weird.....

I don't anticipate anyone on RVF being receptive to this, but have you considered getting a cat? My cat goes around this business with Terminator-like efficiency. Spiders, cockroaches, centipedes, even flying critters like wasps and moths, whatever pest you can think of, they just DIE the moment they enter my apartment.

I dont have any phobia's that I know of. Spiders just irritate me and vertigo-like heights just induce a primitive response on ladders or scaffolding.

I don't like unrestricted heights. I have dreams of being pushed off of a roof for some reason.

Come to think of it, I also don't like stryofoam.

And they are fun to watch too, the way the move while hunting is amazing.

Last year i had both a cat and a dog, and they were the perfect vermin catching team.

Yeah, that really makes no sense unless you're using your copy of Hustler as a made-up Fleshlig...

Literally. I was eating once at a friends house, and his fucking wife brought one of those out (it was from her childhood so it had plenty of dirt on the horrid plastic hair) and i had to step outside so i would not puke the whole table.

I have oneitisphobia. I've done it so much over the years that the idea of letting some broad in my head gives me the dry heaves.

I'm curious, what is the story behind this? Are you only afraid of paper cut on your penis (paper-penis-cut?) and not of scissors or teeth or dry pussies [Image: biggrin.gif] ?

Flying.
I'm well aware of the stats but I can't help it. I've never been able to sleep during an overnight flight and the tiniest turbulence bump makes jump out of my seat. Fortunately a few of these babies usually does the trick to calm me down.

Arachnophobia, definitely:

I'm not an arachnophobe per se. I don't like spiders at all and stay away from them but I don't have any abnormal fear of them for the most part, not even tarantulas...

However, one spider is frequently reoccurs in my nightmares. The black widow spider freaks me the fuck out. For those of you outside N. America, it's the most venomous spider in this part of the world. Usually won't kill an adult but it can seriously fuck you up. I have nightmares at least several times a year about being stuck in a room with black widows crawling around everywhere. Black widows are my boogiemen.

I used to also be absolutely terrified of potato bugs. Also limited to N. America. Freakiest fucking thing you'll ever see. The first time I ever saw one I was age 9 or so and I thought it was some sort of extraterrestrial bug of science experiment gone wrong. After repeated exposure to them while hiking they don't freak me out as much as they used to.

That is also something I am terrified of seeing. Ventriloquist dolls scare the shit out of me. I absolutely hate the SAW doll.

This made my toes curl just thinking about it.

The only real phobia I have is of snails. I know that sounds ridiculous.

I'll eat em too, no problem, though I'm not really sold on escargots. But seeing them alive in their shells...I'll walk way the fuck around them to avoid even the remote chance of stepping on one. I can't even think about stepping on a snail without shivers going down my spine and getting instantly sick to my stomach.

I have menophobia. The fear of menstruation, not me randomly getting it but the thought of seeing it or banging a girl on it. Just overhearing the talk of it, I used to gag. Slowly I'm starting get over it but still makes me uneasy.

The one thing I absolutely despise is crowds! Its not so much a fear since I can be in them and interact somewhat calmly. But its the fact that most people are fucking idiots and don't pay attention. I guess its the heard mentality of the crowd that gets under my skin.

I have a fear of swimming in lakes or oceans. I don't like the idea that I cant see what surrounds me. There could be a shark or something just feet below me and I wouldn't know it.

I also have an irrational fear of "creepy crawlies" such as spiders, centipedes and cockroaches. I would rather be in a room with a tiger or bear than with a spider. I used to go camping every summer as a kid. I've had two close encounters with bears that didn't bother me at all. But a spider? Fuck that.

What's funny about that is that when you encounter a bear in the woods, they typically run off, assuming you aren't threatening their cubs. It's strange to me that these powerful beasts that could rip up to shreds without breaking a sweat would be afraid of us. And on our end, here we have humans running for their lives if they see a tarantula, even though we're magnitudes bigger and could kill it with the ease that a bear could kill us.

I don't like swimming in bodies of water where I can't see the bottom either. I swear there's fucking sea monsters down there. Gives me creeps.
