Lemmy is back in business again!
How long will that guy live?
I was already afraid that he'd stepped down, but now he's apparently kicking ass again.

The future of AC/DC aint bright. Malcolm Young is apparently very ill.
Maybe 40-50 years of heavy smoking is catching up. I still want to see them on stage again.
If not, then I'm glad I saw their last show of the Black Ice tour. I had a blast.

Favourite Red Hot Chili Peppers album?

Mine is One Hot Minute (BSSM second)

One time I sent this album to my friend to try and convert him. His response "I hate it. It's really scatty and all over the place". Precisely!

It's a shame they've become so boring, I absolutely love everything they did before 1999.

Mother's Milk, closely followed by Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magick. I like the early ones like Uplift Mofo Party Plan & Freakey Styley. After BSSM, I felt like they started to lose it. I agree, they're completely boring now.

LeBeau, Ace of Spades is one of the all time classic metal tunes. 34 years later and still rocks harder than 90% of everything.

My grandpa sings Ace of Spades. I think my uncle used to jam the tape around him.

What about Stone Temple Pilots? I like how the singer kept getting busted with heroin [Image: lol.gif] real rockers.

Farmageddon, ive never heard of Magazine but they kind of remind me of Flipper, that old punk band. Messy and loud. They sound ok but its not something I can listen to all the time. Maybe its just that song and because I had to listen to a live version on my phone.

I need to get Fugazis albums. Saw them live years ago in Austin and Ian stopped a song to break up a fight lolz. Hippie punk.

Van Halen? The Who? Counting Crows? Everclear? Rollins Band? The Eagles? Helmet?

Pleasantly surprised, if you like QOTSA, Deftones or Muse it's worth a click:

The latest Deftones album has me hooked for the past few months. It's seriously one of the best things they've ever done.

If you're the type of person who has to listen to something and read the lyrics you will love this album.

Surprised no one has mentioned Dream Theater yet in this thread. They're like the Rush of this generation.

Hey, very nice, I admit it's very hard for me to like new bands but I liked these, I'm going to look them up.

If you like Deftones and Isis, check out Palms, its the singer from Deftones and some of the members of Isis. One of the better records of 2013.

I love listening to this after reflecting on a bunch of flakes; headaches and dead ends. Motivates me to leave it all behind and make my mark in some way:

Apparently he is suing the Misfit's Jerry Only

Danzig 1 and 2 were good solid albums. 3 was OK and the rest went downhill from there.

Guys. In a week I'm heading to this festival.
I want to ask you if you can recommend to check out any of these less known bands?
Most of these less known bands are brand new ones to me, and I will not have time and energy to check out everything. So now I'm asking which ones you would check out?

The bands that I recommend are the ones that I have seen before and they have put on a good show. Maiden, Anthrax, Mastodon, Ghost, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Opeth, and Metallica.

Referring to the Rock Am Ring poster:

If you were only 50% sold on Gogol Bordello: they're fucking FANTASTIC live! Supported RATM at Finsbury Park and warmed it up nicely.

(Then again, they do clash with Kasabian, who are also good live)

Saturday night looks bloody amazing. Queens followed by NIN. God damn I'd make sure I get near the front for that;

Also, if you're a childhood Offspring fan, you may come out dissapointed :-( My God they were crap at Reading in 2011 [Image: lol.gif]
