Does anybody here know of some good places in Bangkok that make custom suits and shirts? Supreme quality is a higher concern here than price. I know in HK the top place is http://www.wwchan.com/, but I won't be in HK for a few months, and BKK doesn't have this place.
The Bangkok Thread
Try http://www.tailoronten.com/. They are my next stop.
Check out their Facebook page, they have a lot of photos of people in their suits.
They are owned and operated by two younger Canadian brothers and do their tailoring right there at the shop I believe. Most places have your shit thrown together in back alley sweat shops.

If.you do try them, let me know how it goes.
I'm trying to set up an appointment to get a few shirts made. I'll report back after they're finished.
On a side note, Demo/Funky Villa is the best club I've been to in Bangkok. Lots of light-skinned Thai broads, barely any foreigners, and most girls I spoke to were friendly and excited to talk to me.

High quality girls, but can be difficult. However, one of my very best girls I pulled from Demo.
She blocked me from.Facebook a year ago and hadn't heard from her since....until two days ago.
What did she say?
"Oh, you have a gf? So would it be hard to meet you now?"
Lol. Thai broads have no shame with scamming on other chicks boyfriends. I do miss her tiny half Chinese, quarter Thai, quarter Australian pussy though. Shit tasted like heaven....and Nutella.
Just leave the singlets, cargo shorts, and sandals at home.

Nah. Most foreigners will walk in, feel awkward, maybe have a drink or two, and walk out.
Then they'll tell anyone who asks how lame Thai clubs are and steer them to the touristy (whore) bars.

^ exactly. I think most foreigners would be intimidated in a place like Funky Villa. Of the foreigners I did see there, all of them were standing around in groups not talking to anyone.. (typical of most guys out at clubs). I'm starting to wonder why people even go out in groups if they're main objective that night is to get laid. I get laid a lot more when I go out by myself, especially in Bangkok.
I ended up ordering 3 shirts and a blazer from Tailor on Ten. The blazer will be a thin marino wool material- it's lightweight and won't wrinkle much. Should be perfect for traveling, and hopefully bearable to wear in SE Asia. The blazer cost 14,000 baht, and the shirts ranged from 2,500 - 4,000 baht each. They only accept cash, no credit cards. Hopefully everything looks good when it's finished. It should be ready by Saturday.

Best thing about Funky villa is the bottle price for Smirnoff vodka, 1k a bottle. and its free entry everyday but Saturday. The music tends to be lame as they will usually have a live band playing Thai music now and again. I only go their as a warm up for drinking.
Demo is a great place, good music.
Chicks are hot in both places, but both Demo and Funky are usually places a thai THAI girl wants to be "seen at", and having a western on her shoulder in them places is something 90%> thai girls wont want to be seen with

apparently Nana liquid is under new ownership, anyone been to it lately (soi 4)? Think I might be back in October after my WHV in oz is over
I haven't been, but I'm sure it's still filled with whores.
my mate just landed their today, he staying in Celi in Ekkamai, and sending me play by play reports of what hes doing, im itching to get back now. Only have to live vicariously through him and this forum for another 8 months

How is Celi? I saw some units online and it looked pretty decent for the price.
ManAbout,
Post an update on how things are going in BKK man! Have you met up with any of the boys from the forum yet? Have you made it to CM or not yet?

I've seen it its good. My mate pays 15k/month for his room, its a little bit small for a one bedroom, I think it would of been better made as a studio than putting a wall in the way. Not sure why Thais do that but whatever.
Location is the best thing as its a 1 mintue walk to thong lo soi 10

Any update on the quality/fit and finish? I'll be in Bangkok in July and have really good things about them. I need to find a good spot to drop the 50k baht i'm thinking it'll take to get all the pieces I want. It'll be either Tailor on Ten or Rajawongse Clothiers based on reputation and reviews.

Just got back from an 18 day BKK trip, had the time of my life.
My stats: mid-twenties, tall, white, athletic build, good job. Night game: intermediate, online game: beginner, day game: non-existent.
11 new notches! could have easily been more but a saw a few girls multiple times as i didn't want to go out to dinner alone.
6 girls from RCA, 4 from thaifriendly and 1 from tinder.
My advice/learnings:
- pipeline on thaifriendly a week or 2 before going, even if you have no time just login randomly and a few girls should show interest (my profile was nothing special but physically i am above average on that site)
- have Line up and running before you get there
- mass message the girls, try to be playful, when you see they they can speak a bit of english get there Line and set a date from there
- Route66 on RCA is the place to be, only 2 nights i struck out, everywhere else i went (soi 11, khao san road) were a let down compared to Route66
Thank you Afarang, boys at swooptheworld and everyone on this forum for your knowledge and guidance!

I meant to write about this before but couldn't remember to. I'm satisfied with the outcome. The blazer fits really well and so do the shirts. The blazer is marino wool, and I got 3 shirts- the materials are egyptian cotton and another Irish linen. I went in for 3 fittings before the shirts and blazer were completed. It was a bit on the pricier side, especially for Bangkok, but I'd recommend the place. I'll put up some pictures of the shirts when I stop being lazy about it.

Cool, I hope your cheap shirts and blazers impress all of the gay guys in your city. I thought this was a thread about Bangkok.
Can't get this to quote right from my phone :/

That's great to hear. I'm looking for 3-4 shirts, a jacket, suit, and pea coat. I think the best part about their shop, at least from what I can tell online, is that they will tell what mill their wool or cotton is coming from, the other shops are obscure about it but most sources out them on Chinese wool instead of the Italian they advertise. I'm looking for their Vitale Berberis Cononico; what mill did you end up using?

Went to Levels last weekend and pulled a mongolian chick who said she was an actor, no doubt for some skin whitening commercial or similar. Quite liked the place in terms of mix of people, despite the somewhat douchefactor and expensive drinks. Seemed like most girls there were not pros or if they were, then they hid it well. Only issue is the way overpriced drinks, but I figure you can actually just take the elevator down and knock down a quick double whisky coke in the street bars if you're low on cash, then head on back up.
