A few years ago I went on one date with a Chinese girl I met over Tinder. One of the more unhinged girls I've met.

We went out and ate at some Korean restaurant. Afterwards she started obsessively texting and calling me.

At the time my game was weak so I played into it to a certain extent, but I knew something was up.

She would complain about some older guy requesting her to be his waitress at the Chinese restaurant she worked at and would say that she thinks he's going to rape her one day.

I told her to calm down and that he just sounded like a lonely old man (she said the guy was like in his 60s or 70s or something). Told her to tell her boss if he tried following her home. Which of course, he didn't.

It frustrates me because she is so naturally beautiful and can hold very thorough conversations about things that truly matter while also having a good sense of humour. One of those moments where you can't do anything but just realise how fucked up society can be, accept it and look for the positives.
