So annoyed...

Came home early b/c I'm so goddamned grumpy. I'll be damned if I spend another night at a bar watching a bartender who is half as handsome as me and who makes 1/10th the money I make and who drives in 1/8th the car I drive in and who lives in 1/20th the abode I live in get 20 times the female attention that I get.

I know it sounds like sour grapes, but I've worked 10 times harder to be in the situation that I'm in compared to the bartender and it royally pisses me the fuck off.

Calm down, get bishes in situations that play to my advantage, etc. etc. I know it - I get it. But I needed to vent. Any advice / consolation is welcome.

I had thought about this before, but I don't know shit about what mixed with what makes what. Other than orange juice and vodka and a few where the name of the drink gives it away, lol.

I don't know shit about mixing drinks either but have thought about part time bartending. There is a bartending academy near where I live which I have heard good reviews from. The 2 week course costs $455.

I know most bars could probably give a shit about some bartending academys certificate but for an alcohol newbie like myself it is a good way to get familiar with a lot of different alcohols.

I only have my 3 or 4 go to drinks for myself or when guests come over and don't really know many others.

Been here several times. It's part of the game man. Just get some sleep, hit the gym, relax a little bit tomorrow, and you'll feel a lot better tomorrow. When you hit a low point like this, you have to just ride it out. This will be a non issue for you within a few days / weeks.

Why not get out of your small town for a three day weekend in Las Vegas and blow off some steam? You're rich, handsome and have strong drive you will pull here and even if you don't pull you can always console yourself with our world-renowned escorts.

Dude, he's a fucking bartender..

He's going to be pouring fucking jack and cokes for the rest of his young existence.

If you say that you have all those things going for you, then why are you so worried about this guy?

Find a niche man. That guy found his and is currently exploiting it to what appears to be decent success.

Art/music/MMA/lifts/dance/yoga/promoter/bouncer/barkeep

Find something to give you an edge and elevate you past normal "drone" status. Everyone has something. Find yours, and use it.

Also, sometimes even the best guys have off nights while they watch some total chodes soaking up the spotlight and poosy due to circumstance or weird logistics/off night/social circles etc.

Don't take it up the ass, chalk it up to the game, lick your wounds over a joint and jump back in.

(no offense to any bartenders on here)
