Outside the club, my buddy and I tried to invite a couple of girls for an afterparty at my place, but they didn't want to go. My buddy said they were some kind of celebrities... like I give a fuck. High end clubs in South JKT, like X2 and Dragonfly have very, very few if any pros.

The word is that the more up north you go the more pros you encounter at clubs.

Just like Bangkok is "faranged out", I expect Jakarta to be "bule'd out" within the next few years. I'll probably still be damn good, but the golden days will be over.

I agree, when I was visiting in October I was shocked to see the amount of foreigners at Immigrant as opposed to a year ago when I saw maybe 1 or 2.

Thanks for all the details. This thread has definitely made me want to add Indonesia to my itinerary. I'll be traveling in April and plan to pass through Jakarta now.
