Feature request: hide posts by certain member

Normally I skip reading posts of members which:

1. Provide tones of unneeded info (at least for me)
2. Provide wrong info, wrong facts not opinions, I know it as I have been in places they wrote about.

While this was a convenient method to use this forum efficiently, lately it becomes much harder as those posts becomes too much to handle, there could be even 60-70% of a thread.
So when I look in a big thread with many pages which has a valuable information, most of the other info is useless making it much less easy to obtain.

The banning system is not helpful as many of those members have high points and considered "good" members.

A feature of hiding certain members like in Facebook wall would be highly desirable.

You do know that you can put members on your ignore list, right? That feature already does what you are asking for.

Put them on ignore.

Or maybe you could start adding some value to the forum so that it isn't so cluttered with high repped members bullshit? You've been here since 2009, got something good to share?

I am adding value, data sheets and travel info per the knowledge and time I have and I am active almost only in the travel forum as that's whats interest me and where I can contribute.

I haven't put any names and I don't think you are one of those members but I find it strange to get such cynical reply from a member that the ratio of rep. points/ posts he has is lower than me...

~1.74% while you have ~1.3%

Or he could just let us know when he is browsing for data and we can stop posting until he's done. Click on his threads started. [Image: confused.gif]

Click on the username of the user that you don't like. This will take you to the user's profile.

Scroll down and look at the right lower corner of the user's profile, in the area below the countries visited.

A midget might have a higher cock to height ratio, but he's still a midget.

Why wouldn't you just correct the wrong intel?

And what's this crap about rep points per posts?

If we're playing games, let's do likes per post. I wonder how that would work out for you.

Just want to point out, I have fewer rep points to posts than all of you.

I do correct it sometimes.

Number of posts is not important if most of them are useless/incorrect.
It is like a rookie trying 3 points shots and miss most of them, better not to shoot.
Rep. points can better tell you if the info is valuable but as written on top, as I see it, not for all high rep. members.
Rep. points/ posts ratio is even better way to value a member as it tells you how many 3 points shots had been scored from total tries = valuable/ invaluable info ratio.
Anyhow all those are just for first impression, the real way to value a member long term reading of posts.

I would emphasize again that invaluable info might be valuable to others - points 1 in my first post, could be honest and nice member which does not interest me.

Feel free to call me out here, I'm relatively new, but isn't the purpose of this forum to provide a platform for like-minded men to discuss and debate openly and freely, untethered by the social restrictions and censorship of mainstream platforms?

People will state incorrect facts and opinions no matter where you are (that's the core of debate itself), but at least here we're all on the same team and subscribe to the same lifestyle/mentality. Can't understand why blocking certain individuals will increase the value and knowledge you gain from this forum.

Exactly. Also important to remember that people have very different experiences in the same places because they are very different people. A large part of what people see in any given place is what they expect to see, especially if their trip is only short enough for a limited exposure to local culture.

But I wish to get the valuable info out of total info- I need this ratio.
So for your metaphor, I am not interested in the midget, neither in his cock size, I look for the ratio.
My basketball metaphor is better.

I believe many like me do not have the time to read all posts in the forum and prefer to focus on useful info.

I don't wish to ignore people with different opinion / experience than mine, it is just a waste of time for me to read useless info or inaccurate facts.
Now I have more spare time in my life so I can be more active in the forum but most time of the year I dont have it, so I cant invest in arguments like I do now.

No worries bro - I didn't post in this thread to discourage you. I was just making a point about differing experiences in general.

It honestly doesn't bother me one bit if somebody wishes to filter whose posts they can see. That's your prerogative and I certainly don't fault you for it. I've almost ignored a few people on this forum myself, though I've yet to actually click the button. In some cases I've even come around to really respect members I once nearly ignored and started to see value in their posts that I hadn't noticed before.

Every man is free to make his own decisions regarding where he gets his information as far as I'm concerned.

Speaking of post ratios, 22 of the 33 (or 66%) of your threads started were requesting info and recommendations for an area. Another thread was posted in the newbie section requesting game advice. 4 were requesting meetups. That leaves you with 6 threads posted since 2009 that even attempt to provide value and you're now calling out guys who constantly contribute? Not to mention the irony that you excessively ask to be spoonfed information (ex. 'How are Italian girls' or 'Best vacation spot for scoring') yet are now badmouthing the quality of said info while simultaneously requesting a feature that already exists.

This is some very elaborate trolling.

Marco has contributed a tremendous value to the forum for posting six mini-datasheets on very exotic places. And, he's posted pics of the types of girls you can find there, girls that he personally met/banged. It's not good for the travel section to ban members who travel to these interesting and difficult to reach places.

In the signature on his profile, you can find links to his mini-datasheets:
Cape Town, South Africa * Kazan, Russia * Kherson, Ukraine * Tiraspol, Moldova * Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia * Brno, Czec Republic

Marco mentioned he was planning to travel to Siberia in September (this month). I was hoping to hear about Marco's experiences.
