I'm going to London next week.

Can anyone give me a tip on the best place to stay for high numbers of approachable women, both day & night?

Honestly, I would consider staying a bit out of the centre. Most young hot girls won't have the money to be living in the centre. If they do they likely have a man paying their way, are (high priced) hookers or some similar reason. Probably not what you're looking for. The more normal girls (office girls/nurses teachers, accountants etc in their early 20's) will be living in house/flat shares outside the centre. Still come in to the centre to party, but there really isn't the "bridge and tunnel" stigma that exists in NYC. Everyone is in the same boat.

One thing I noticed recently is the massive number of fast food fried chicken stores in London. I have seen more fried chicken stores here in three weeks than in the rest of my life combined.

Someone was telling me KFC is upmarket fried chicken because it has health & safety certification. And Nandos is premium. Wtf haha.

Why do you eat so much fried chicken Londoners?? I want to understand.

Black people. Plain and simple.

Get an oyster card to minimise your bus and train fares. If you know you're going to be doing multiple bus journeys on a particular day or in a week, get a daily bus pass or a 7 day bus pass. If you get a daily train pass 1-4 or a weekly train pass 1-4, you can travel on any bus in the capital with it too.

Like Indians don't eat at Nando's or anyone else for that matter.

"Eye-watering".

This is the most popular choice of adjective I read in London newspapers.

Last night I got cockblocked on logistics. I needed to put my girl on the night bus to Camden but had no idea where to find the right bus stops, which bus number or route and had her walking around for 40+mins through central London in high-heels, upset because she was "seeing someone" and couldn't do this.

Wanted to bang in an alleyway but couldn't find a quiet enough place.

Need to get smoother on this night bus thing or I will lose out on a few bangs.

Logistics are such a huge obstacle in London. In my last city it was a 5 minute $13 cabride back to my place.

I'm finding it easy to chat up girls but hard to pull them back to my place. Some of them live in zone 19 or whatever. Will eventually try and relocate from Camden to Shoreditch.

In the meantime, need to be able to keep the spark alive on 40minute journeys from central London back home via bus. Not that far away in miles but traffic jams at 3.30am. So many cars on the road. Incredible.

On the plus side, London has night buses (in some cities, you're SOL when it comes to public transport at night) but figuring them out can be complicated as they don't necessarily follow the usual routes. Also, you can be stuck waiting for 20 minutes and then have a 40 minute bus ride.

I think that's one of those cases where you may just need to spring for a taxi. Yes, it costs a fortune, but it really is hard to keep things in the moment while on a 40-minute bus ride with an assortment of drunks.

If you are more than a 10 minute walk / bus ride from your apartment it has to be a Taxi every time. Relying on London transport in the heat of the moment will kill the vibe it's not worth it. THe times I have ventured into the westend which is rare I am always prepared to drop £40 on a cab but in general your efforts will be best spent in more localised areas like islington/Camden/SHorditch/dalston where people actually live. The only people who go into W1 are out of towners.

It is what it is, if you don't want to believe it sure.

There's a big difference between Nandos and KFC, one is fried chicken the other isn't.

Why don't you guys visit majority black areas and see the number of chicken shops and then go to a majority white area and see how many fried chicken shops there are?

My area had a lot of chinese and filipino's 5 years ago, there was 1 chicken shop and 5 chinese restaurants. Now there are more black people and less chinese and lo and behold, there's only 1 chinese takeaway (not even a restaurant) and theres 6 chicken shops.

It's standard supply and demand.

Just like how there's a lot of Indian restaurants in North West and West London and lost of Bengali restaurants in Brick Lane and lot's of Turkish restaurants in North London and lots of Jewish restaurants in Golders Green and Edgware.

Respect for telling it as it is.

I was told that in the U.S. such an observation (even if true) could strike quite a nerve due to that nation's history of slavery and prejudice.

Well guys I'm not very PC and apologies to the black members of the forum if I touched a nerve as I don't know the connotations over that side of the pond but unfortunately it is what it is over here in the UK.

Fully agree with bojangles here, he's just telling it as it is
And I concur with his experiences
I noticed the exact same thing when I lived in Hackney, and it also has percentagewise, a high number of black inhabitants, mostly of Afro-Caribbean heritage

I don't know London too well yet.

But at the moment I consider there to be three main areas for girls:

1) Leicester Square inner city area
2) King's Cross/Camden area
3) Shoreditch/Dalston area

Any of those would be excellent.

Give Clapham a go as well, loads of young hotties

Ronnie...my experience is that Clapham is full of couples and middle class families so where are you seeing all these chicks?.

^ I lived in Oval for 3 weeks which is walking distance from Clapham. It had a lot of pubs. All of these pubs warned people about thieves. I have heard of Infernos (a club) but never been.

Nearby Vauxhall was gayer than Soho. I believe it is nicknamed "Vauxho" now.

Can you be more specific with regard to Clapham? Name of bars or clubs that pull in talent?

I was in Brixton today. Looks like a legit place. Actually has a community feel without Starbucks/Pret A Manger/Costa everywhere. Very busy, vibrant, mostly black but decent mix of people. Waaay better than Finsbury Park. Home to O2 Academy, which features all these incredible international acts for bargain ticket prices. Good transport links.

Can definitely see why it is on the up as a place to live. Will probably fall victim to London's very aggressive rate of gentrification though...

Is Brixton Academy still up or did they change the name or tear it down?

Infernos is a notorious slut fest, Clapham has some sexy anglo girls not so much foreign girls (unless Aussie/kiwi/saffa which I mean by Anglo).

What days are good for Infernos? I've driven past there a few times in recent weeks and wondered about it.

only Saturdays are good at Infernos

@ Bojangles, 5/6 years ago mostly anglo girls, nowadays there are a fair amount of polish ones as well, who, needless to say, are a zillion times better than the british ones...
