Nope. I lived in Brazil for 2 years, and I am also fluent in Portuguese. Since I have the typical Brazilian "look" (I am not Brazilian), and spoke Portuguese very well, it worked against me, not in my favor.

Now, when I started speaking French, and saying I was French instead of a latino, born in America, I started getting favorable results. I am not French.

Brazil has the same racist triangle that Mexico has towards non-whites. Honestly, the only country I have not seen this behavior is Colombia and Argentina.

Which is why if you are white with blonde hair and green eyes, these are the places to hit right away for more lays: Brazil and Mexico.

I did business in Mexico for about 1 year, and had to play up my American side, and kind of hide my Latino side to get ass.

Well, I'm not overly concerned if somoene's talking sh*t about me, so I haven't really considered that. As far as pulling women, well I'm not sure if that will be easily possible, which is why i asked the question. Now, I've been to mexico before, (Mexicali) and had some limited success, but I was wanting to go deeper into Mexico, so I'm wondering if the attitudes are a bit different than right near the border.

JM - I'm sure that many on this forum including yourself has pulled women without knowing the language. I think that there are several ways to do this. For example, I've went to certain clubs in Brazil and Colombia (before knowing any of the language) where I'm in my element (where the play salsa or R&B, Soca, etc). I've just asked women to dance, ended up getting a kiss and took here back to the spot. Some women approached me to dance, one woman I dance with asked me back to her house immediately when I was in Bogota. You can tell when the chick is attracted by looking at her body language. If however you can dance, I think that that helps tremendously. I think that your energy can draw people in and when you are different/foreign, some women are naturally attracted to that. I've gone as far as finding someone who knows english in the place to translate for me if I know that the panties are wet and I have a chance of smashing. I can speak spanish now but I was able to do it before with the methods mentioned above. (By the way, I'm not as seasoned as several of the fellas on this forum but that has worked for me before). You can also couchsurf and find natives that know some english to meet up with before you get there so that when you need a hand in translation you can get it. Many of these people male or female would love to meet someone to practice their english with. I know that you weren't saying that it can't be done, but that is how I believe one would do it.

I disagree with your assessment, Mixx. One thing I can say I am good at is determining and gauging people's moods. Living here in Pleasantville, I am forced to really bring those skills to the forefront since Canadians tend not to say what they think or feel. In that respect, I have to use other tactics and understanding of old human behaviour (body language, omission in language used) to gauge what is going on.

Men from other countries do not like other groups being successful with their women. I have gone to events such as Kenyan beer parties and been stared down by some dude emboldened by booze because I'm gaming on his country woman. This is, despite he having zero chance with her (she shut him down prior to APPROACHING me).

Jealousy is a big thing amongst men. If a man feels that you have the ability to fuk his women (his wife, daughter) or any woman that he feels he owns, he will take drastic actions to deter this from happening.

This is not to say that you must pussyfoot around when you really want to get some nani but it should be taken in mind and one has to be flexible.
If you are in a very conservative circle and you are seen as an alpha male but outnumbered by beta chodes, my advice would be to think before you are acting or engage in some sort of strategic maneouvre.

There are a lot more other women there besides just natives. Not all natives have that shape. Some are mixed with European blood (natives really like to fcuk, they are dysfunctional like that) and this helps dilute that survivor round look.

Ok, I see and I gauge that as well. From my understanding in the US, people are too busy getting money and there are so many women in the US, muthafukas don't have the time to be hating on one instance when there are so many other females available.

However, the key is, how tightly knit are you to your culture and your community? Do you come from an open culture or is it conservative? How tight is your game?

I think that Moma's posts are spot on here. I wouldn't go as far as to say that Winnipeg should be avoided or it is really that bad. Besides Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto; Winnipeg is your best bet for beautiful Women (I'd even say proportionately it has one of the best ratios in Canada and better than Vancouver). With good ratio's, Im not sure why you'd want to avoid it. It's not the nicest looking place but it doesn't look like a dump ( a la Detroit, Cleveland, Flint, and Gary).

That being said, if you choose to visit a Canadian city, Winnipeg isn't first on your list (or for that matter on your list at all).

It is however, a second tier Canadian city that you can swoop fine women relatively easy. By the way, Moma lives in Canada and I'm Canadian as well.

Yeah, I would agree with that. Although, as far as hooking up with non-working girls in Mexico goes, I think you will have quite some trouble. In my experience(which is limited, outside of TJ) most Mexicans have pretty strong catholic roots and don't really fuck around with you unless you're their "boyfriend". Even some of the working girls can be against sexual positions other than missionary as it some how makes them feel more slutty. Not sure how that works? This is just my experience though and I do have pretty awful game, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if someone else had the complete opposite opinion.

But back on topic. If anything, being black, you should be safer traveling in Mexico.

There was a guy here(can't remember who it was now) that did a trip report on Monterrey and said it's pretty good for black dudes. Monterrey has a lot more of the Spanish-blood Mexican girls, btw. Might want to look that thread up for info.

I don't have any experience approaching in Mexico, but my guess from what I know of Mexicans is that it probably would be a more challenging place for the bruddas. I'd avoid the smaller towns where it's more traditional. I think the best shot is going to be the larger more cosmopolitan places like Mexico City which has immigrants from all the world and Guadalajara. You'll find people with freer lifestyles and not so confined by tradition. When I was in Puerto Vallarta, I met this African dude that was on vacation with his Mexican girlfriend. He was a French teacher living in Mexico City.

Vale, I'm mexican spanish and one of my areas of study is the sociology/racism and everything that goes in latin-american culture, so let me explain a little bit.

Mexicans are traumatized because of two things, the conquest by Spain and the loss of more than half Mexico by the US. Ironically, they LOVE the gringo and european look, they discriminate the AMERINDIAN look, the short(5ft) big head, no neck guy that you can see as a waiter in Cancun, you can hear them call them: Pinche Indio.

Even if you are college educated, smart, etc. you can't get a job if you look amerindian, is like that.

Mexicans are no racist with blacks, I know a lot of mexican girls that would gladly fuck Kanye West. You can hear a lot of guys call a friend hey "negro" but is not a racist way, is just the way that they call each other. The dark skin are the "negro" or "prieto" while the blonde is called "güero" and the asian "chino", in a friendly way though.

To the OP, if your still interested in going to Mexico I say go for it. The exchange rate is pretty good and I doubt you'll encounter any drama. I've spent time in every major U.S. border city Ciudad Juarez, Laredo, Mexicali and TJ and had success in all of them even with my basic spanish at the time, even had a couple single night lays. I went to several nightclubs and never experienced anything like cockblocking from the locals, maybe a few looks but nothing worth paying attention to. What do you look like? Are you teh typical white/tall/blonde foreigner. or Are you tan skin, latin looking?
