What would you do now if you were George Zimmerman?

Dude is kind of backed into a corner, practically speaking. He probably can't leave his home without security (which he probably can't afford) and supposedly might still be subject to costly civil suits which could drag on for years more. He's mentioned the desire to look into law school.

Here's what I would do if I were George Zimmerman.

1. Aggressive health regimen. Stop eating shitty food, start working out intently, completely change lifestyle. This would be a powerful way to get a "fresh start" on life - both practically and mentally/spiritually. Take kickboxing or some other form of self defense.

2. Publicly embrace a religion or spiritual outlet. The media and others are suckers for "Christian" turnarounds. When an athlete falters, he'll usually cloak himself around the Christian flag, asking for forgiveness and embracing that lifestyle. It seems to work. Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin and Ray Lewis have all used this technique. George should get active in a charismatic Christian church who will embrace him, defend him, offer him social outlets, etc. He should rely on that outlet heavily for several years until he's into law school and can get a more traditional set of friends/colleagues/allies.

3. Pursue law school, or some other difficult challenge. He can probably finagle it in some way through conservative donors, church, etc. Or he can simply get loans. He should wait until August 2014 to start though, and should first get his personal life in order (fitness, safety, LCAT prep, etc). Law school would utterly consume him for 3 years, and by 2017/18 he'd emerge as a JD with 5 years behind the incident, and a bunch of conservative law firms who would consider hiring him.

4. Wait on the book or media tour - he'll get a lot more buy in and have a lot more interest if he waits 5 years and emerges as a fit, accomplished, and matured attorney reflecting on the past. Express remorse and a belief that "if I was half the man on that night that I am now, things would have been different. I'm so sorry for everything that transpired and I'll never be fully whole as a result." It will be much more meaningful and accepted after 5 years of reflection than it would be after the civil trial. Who knows, if everything fell right and he looked/spoke the part, he could be the next Oliver North - who is now a regular talking head on the cable news circuit.

5. Read Roosh V and use his minor celebrity status, JD, and new physique to live more in in the next 7 years than 99% of the men on planet Earth live in their entire lives. You've all seen his brother right? That is one sharp, good looking dude. George has that potential if he gets his shit straight and claims his life. I forgot that George is married, so that would actually be step number 4 - divorce that bitch halfway through law school.

This would be my plan of action to revitalize his life. Any thoughts or other options?

ETA - what George Zimmerman is likely to do? Stay fat, have babies with his fat wife, and stay mediocre forever.

I'd get the hell out of the US. Probably fly to some country in South America and never come back.

What about going to like Montana instead? It's beautiful country and people would definitely leave him the fuck alone. I feel like he'd be murdered in South America. He could get in shape, do his law thing, etc.

Let's be honest though the dude is a fat, soft fuck and there's absolutely no chance he has the testicles to leave his wife or change his standing in any meaningful way. I just like to take inventory of situations like that and see how I'd try and turn things round.

This. And tweak the look a bit first.

Interesting post. I hadn't even considered all the positives of his situation. Kind of bad taste to say it but I'd actually love to be in his shoes as he could leverage this into big money.

If he leaves and denounces US citizenship he might be able to avoid further litigation. He can publish a book from another country and still make money.

I'd hide out for about a year, working out and losing weight. He'd look completely different. Just another typical hispanic guy. He should change his name, and just blend in in a large metro.

Where is Casey Anthony? Who the fuck knows. You could probably pass by her on the street and not even know. She blended in and people start to forget.

Take care of those titties for me.

You're right. People only care in the moment. They're sheep. They follow trends.

1. Write a book.

2. Sue NBC for defamation (I think this is already underway).

3. Move to Latin America and live out the rest of my days on the beach.

It's hard to leave the US without independent income, Montana/Upper West is good, maybe combine the advice, go to Idaho or Montana (that cop that got flak in the OJ SImpson murder moved to Idaho. )

There's almost no African-Americans, blacks who DO have money are too smart to waste it chasing him there.

Then go to Law School or get an MBA there, and then in 4 years he can live wherever he wants. The next disappearing blonde will wipe all this from memory.

For instance, I can't remember the name of the cop who retired to Idaho. Begins with an F.

After things blow over he should convert to Mormonism and move to a Mormon community in Utah. There's plenty of Hispanic Mormons these days.

He already killed a kid so he won't have to feel guilty about drinking liquor and caffeine and having premarital sex.

He and his wife should go teach english in a foreign country. He could go to Colombia and Peru, teach English to support themselves, and then use the money from suing NBC to retire comfortably. As long as he in the US he isn't going to be safe. It's hard to imagine him finding work either- what company is going to want the notoriety of having him on the payroll?

Good suggestions, Mike.

I'll add this: Buy a Glock 19, extra mags and get some training. And get a better holster. The holster he was carrying his PF9 in is a piece of crap.

Hide in plain sight. Zimmerman needs to go around in "black face" like Robert Downey did in that movie Tropic Thunder!! Undercover Brother hahaha

Stay out of sight for a few months. The majority of people out there have the attention span of a rock. The media will soon find another story to race-bait and incite the public with, and you'll be forgotten shortly after.

- Get on the first plane to Eastern Europe/Russia or SEA and lay low there for a for a few months if not a few years. I wouldn't suggest he goes to Latin America, it's too dangerous, too many blacks there who would not hesitate to kill him. In Eastern Europe/Russia or SEA, he would be left alone. During that time, work out, lose weight and get in shape.
- Write a book on what really happened.
- Sue the crap out of the media.
- Cash in on that.
- Renounce his US citizenship.
- Change his name to something like Aleksander Ziparov or something similar.
- Divorce his old American wife and trade her with beautiful, young local girl(s).
- Live the rest of his life, a simple life, as a local.

He HAS to cash in. Like everyone said. Book Deal. Movie Deal. $1Million for exclusive interview. Porn? Well, maybe not porn.

He will be at grave risk for a couple of years I think. He needs money to act as a buffer, and for protection. The authorities seem keen to drag this out for another year or two despite the odds of a successful prosecution now probably being near zero. It's all bread and circuses, getting people riled up for their own selfish political reasons. It's quite sad and pathetic actually. A lot of people, maybe even all the way up to the POTUS are privately hoping some nut kills him. So he needs protection, and that requires money.

Also, at least move out of Florida, if not the USA.
