oh yes. i forgot about her. i would. i always felt she had a beautiful babyface.

but have you seen her recently? she has fallen off big time. she's been done for a while actually.

if i could time travel back the 90's during her heyday. then yes.

but do all young french women look like how she used to? that is a better question. to me she is an example of top shelf french woman who aged hard at 40. a 2013 version of a young sophie would probably have a huge ego.

i have decided that dealing with pretty women with huge egos, who are from a place where they're top shelf and majority of women around her are average, that that woman isn't worth pursuing. cracking thru their ego is just too much work. it ain't worth it. they're prettier, easier women out there.

and guess who she's dating? christopher lambert ; the highlander.

Older women are going to show some age in the face. I'm more focused on what kind of shape the body is in. Sophie can still get it from me.

6. i was only in paris one week last year, but i was blown away by how stylish, feminine, and sophisticated they were. i loved that.

May I chime in ?

I never hesitate to show a bit of (objective) national pride when the matter deserves it, but all those sanguine posts about french women make me wonder if I really live in Paris.

First the ratio of truly hot girls is not that great here, even in the cosmopolitan bowels. For one gorgeous woman, you have four or five ranging from rather hot to fuckably cute, four or five "maybe worth a drunken fuck", and ten straight out unfuckable. "Stylish, feminine and sophisticated" ? ..... seriously ? ..... I have been living within a stone's throw from Champs Elysées during twenty years, and now I live since five years one minute walking to the Opera (thus upper-end areas), and I can ATTEST that 80% of the girls are dressed with no style, no feminity, and with cheap brands. How many women have you seen in Paris wearing high heels ? .... one out of thirty at best. Now compare that to EE/FSU, where you can't walk ten meters without bumping into a long-legged beauty, where women wear fuck-me heels even to go to the grocery store, where they most often are wraped up with too short skirts or tiny dresses and with perfect hair, manucures and make-up and not an eyelash out of place, ect.

A few weeks ago I was invited at a party at "L'Arc" (of the best glam club in Paris) which was supposed to be one of the most important party of year, and honestly, beside my russian GF and the other russian girls who were there, VERY few girls would have fit in (and I mean just fit in, not even stand out) in an upper-end club in Moscow.

Also french girls are very much in search of "The One" and are rather difficult to score (there's a reason why french guys are so horny when they see a russian girl - it's because they are sexually frustrated). They date in their peer group, sharing the same interests, ect ect. They are very much in the "politically correct" and the "socially acceptable", which is another HUGE difference with EE/FSU girls who tend to follow their instinct without thinking twice and don't care about what is socilally acceptable or not... I also find them rather average in bed, often childish, rather unworldly and unexperienced but utterly convinced of their own knowledge and importance, ect.

About arabic girls (beurettes), I had just two or three of them in my whole life and personally now wouldn't touch those girls with a 10" pole. It's usually messy trouble guaranteed. Admittedly, some are hot, but most of them are offensive, malevolent, bitter, malicious, hurtful, calculating and greedy - "qualities" that they share with their male counterparts.

Sorry.

PS: V, I understand your enthousiasm, but you perfectly know that Cannes during the festival is a fantasy land, it's not the real world.

I posted something very similar along those lines.
I encountered a Beurette in the airport as I was waiting for a flight that was late. She approached me and asked me if I was on the same flight. Not too long into the conversation she asked what I did (student) and when I would start making money. There certainly seems to be a "gold digger" element that if it exists to an equal extent that the French girls are better at hiding. I find that the Arabs to be more direct than the French (this can be good and bad).

There clearly is an older generation that does not agree with these changes, but they seem to have lost their voice for now (some are just getting too old).

Whaat I can't stand is how the French so easily prostitute themselves to the US culture, while completely denying the same. If the following is any indication of where France is headed, then good night:

In short: American looking bimbo who had her heart broken by bad-buys and not wants to nice guy. They end up serving her with the following...

I was just about to do a Paris writeup too...(I still am)

All I can say to you guys is: Don't ever go to L.A. Because right now, for me, Paris is the best I've seen (granted my travelling experience is limited compared to some on here) Best ratios, greatest surplus of attractive women, best attitudes, best receptiveness to approaches, across the board. I guess comparing any European city to L.A. is a bit of a joke, but let's keep things in perspective here shall we? When you say things like, "No style, no femininity...", think about the gravity of those words. Previously I've only been to Italy, Germany, and Mexico. Saying girls from a country have "No style, no femininity" might turn off a potential visitor like myself, and by my standards, it's been a goddamn goldmine here. My main issue is the cost of the city.

My next trip I'm thinking Hungary/Bulgaria, as I've got places to stay in both...who knows, maybe those trips will make Parisian girls look downright dumpy. I'm sure when you compare anything to Moscow, which seems to be the Mt. Olympus of gorgeous women on earth, it's going to make anywhere else seem like amateur hour.

I'm sure every guy has a different experience, but you want to deal with difficult women? Try Barcelona. I speak pretty fluent Spanish, and I had more success in 24 hours in Paris, speaking 10 phrases of horribly spoken French, than I did in a week in bcn.

my G*d...I was all set to say "2nd photo just can't be Laetitia Casta....have searched the net a bit and yes she has pumped out a few kids and looks older, but I don't think that's her."

Then I found it and sure enough - it's her! Uggg. The regression over the past 2-3 years is just awful. Here is a shot from 2011 where she still looks ok but some mileage for sure:

Cut to the photo above from 2013 - what a meltdown!! But I think that's a particularly bad shot...here's a few others where she looks a bit better, but still, unreal how she's fallen off a cliff from her better days:

I captured my first French flag a little over a month ago and I am sad to report it was the defining moment of my existence. At several times over the span of a 5 hour romp session, I felt like I was having an outer body experience and I kept having to tell myself that it was real and that this was actually happening. She barely spoke a word all night, in part due to the language differential. She bucked, and screamed (only in French) like nothing I ever encounterd before. I am no putting all my focus and energy into femme fatales going forward here . I can either chalk this up to the low quality of past takedowns or that this one truly had skills to pay bills. I will be in Montreal this summer off and on, so hopefully I will have a larger sample size to compare experiences.

The thing about French people. They are always up to date with the news and current affairs.

Can't think why...

I went as tourist as I was only there for a week or so recently and put on a couple thou km mostly going around Normandy and obviously much less around Paris. My French is less than rudimentary. I'm not hyping it up but I was not disappointed in what I saw (no EE experience to compare to) and was briefly actually a little depressed to leave. Very difficult to generalize but in a small crowd in the Paris Metro I'd see 3/4 girls that for me were as good as Melissa Theriault/Laetita Casta. Normandy impossible for me to generalize as small towns were ridiculously spread out amongst mega farmland (plus more being dead more often than not due to holidays). The general feel I'd get from French woman is that they are very feminine but stone-cold or stoic, but without the added negative vibe I'd feel in Toronto. Reading things online "confirmed" that French women are the coldest Latin girls. I must've been dining at mostly wrong spots though to check out more birds as most of the restaurants in Paris and Normandy would be mostly an older crowd, while going to the occasional McD's was mostly a too young crowd for me.

One thing that bugged me out as soon as I landed in Paris/France in general, and really confirmed I was in another world, was the enormous amount of eye contact. More than the few couple of other Euro areas I've been to and not entirely in terms of flirting, but just "acknowledging" your presence. Whereas I could walk around Toronto all day or pass tons of people and never receive any eye contact whatsoever, with everyone in their own little bubble or pretending to be, definitely not the case in France.

Indeed it was limited time, however I also spent limited time in Poland, and even though the cities rank very low when comparing to Paris, the food and women are, in my opinion much better. As a Frenchie, while I haven't been back since I left France almost 2 decades ago, the only gringas I ever bother with while abroad are the French girls. I feel a kind of saudade or longing for them. There's something about them, that makes very different, unique, even special in their very own way. Few things are sexier than a smart French beautiful girl with whom you can communicate well. She will stimulate your mind and your soul, not to mention your body and your manhood. They are very smart, can be ball busters but will still keep their manners to be feminine even when drunk.

Someone mentioned, I think it was thedude, Moscow being the Mount Olympus of gorgeous women in the world. While I haven't been to Moscow yet, what I saw in Tokyo left me speechless like no other place so far. I have never seen such a high density of 9's, 10's and above, sublimely feminine and stunningly fashionable. Absolutely mind blowing.

No, I don't. In terms of beauty it can be similar, however the French are taller, slimmer and quite feminine and that makes a big difference.

There is a thread (or two) somewhere about portugal, lisbon and girls. Someone mentioned that Portugal is the anti-russia (men look good and women are mediocre, opposing to russia where women look good and men look mediocre).

Next time try to mention some dishes that the tourists generally don't fall in love with.

While french cuisine is seen as high tech, portuguese is seen as rustic. Food is supposed to taste good, and grilled sardines taste better than 50% of french food.
Yes, i do like foie gras, croissants eclairs and macarrons, but I'd like to include some protein in my diet without abusing sauces.

BTW:
SALTING cod is the perservation method. Nobody eats it that way, unless they want to go to the hospital with dehidration symptoms. I'm sorry for you if you ate it that way. Next time better ask how to do it. You have to leave it on water for 2 days...

You can go back to your tartar steak.

In Southern California, you could wear a shirt advertising your social security, debit card, and PIN numbers and sleep well at night knowing not a single girl would be stealing your identity.

I always have similar experiences with getting tons of eye contact overseas. Last time it was twice before I even landed at my destination. At my stop in the Frankfurt Airport, this very cute German girl working there asking to remove metallic objects before going through the scanner just started eyefucking me with a clearly sexual smile when I was taking off my belt. Then during the flight from Frankfurt to Istanbul, as I was heading up the plane to take a piss, a really sexy Turkish girl in little shorts was giving me this big, flirty smile as I rushed to my seat when the seat belt light came on.

That one “bugged me out” like you said because a girl who looked that hot in LA would probably be wearing large sunglasses on the plane for the sole purpose of avoiding eye contact with men.

So many hot girls I'd check out in western Turkey would stare back at me, even while with their parents, on the beach, and by my hotel room. Most were in bikinis. There were too many instances for me to remember, but one that stuck in my head was this gorgeous tanned one in little shorts riding on the back of a moped with another cute girl driving. I could see from the sidewalk that she had green eyes, my favorite. At first, she quickly noticed me looking as she was turning her head forward. Then, even as they were riding off and well past, she turned her head just to look back at me a second time.

That’s the sort of thing that makes you happy to be a man. It makes you feel very confident and affectionate toward women. Girls would blush when I’d smile at them and often pressure me into meeting them. It was incredible and shocking because most experiences I had had smiling at American girls would result in them immediately looking away, even coldly so. There are great girls in southern California, but the overall culture discourages men from pursuing their desires without first receiving the woman's permission.

Several European tourists would also flirt or make eye contact with me, but still, here I was getting more flirting from hot girls within a couple weeks in a predominately Islamic country (with much worse ratios and not the physically best-looking of women on average) than I probably did over the past 6 months in the US, even as a college student. I got another look from a girl at the Istanbul airport. On the plane to LA, a stunningly beautiful Turkish-American girl kept chatting me up. I had to forfeit a lot of potential romance since I was always with relatives, but I’ll definitely be back solo next time and may have even better experiences in less conservative countries.

For the record, it was only a minority of Turkish girls doing these sorts of things, but it’s just remarkable what kinds of experiences I was having with what were likely mostly virgins because American women always justify their anti-social behavior by associating flirting with being a slut, and how women only give subtle clues to indicate interest, like picking lint off their shirts.
