I think moving there for day gaming and bar gaming college girls while making the beach scene and surfing my life for a year right now wouldn't be a bad idea.

It's a great idea of you have the money to do it right and the energy/commitment to make it work!

Your job, your home, your lifestyle, your logistics, your look. Everything should be set up to maximize your chances of gaming these college girls.

Example: Your home should be walking distance from the bars.

Your look should be attractive to those Santa Barbara girls.

Your job should allow you to interact with them.

This is a Complete Lifestyle-Gaming Strategy.

Set up your life so that you have all the advantages that you can get.

Shit, try to bartend on State St. with an apartment right upstairs. That would be ideal.

Yup. Slightly older grad school guy. That can work.

Even better? Slightly older grad school guy who has an attractive lifestyle, perfect logistics, and social cred.

I am picturing a cool house on the beach, near campus or near State St, where girls can come hang out, surf, do drugs, chill and take a break from their college social scene.

That, and/or bartend on State St. with an apartment very close by.

Both, if you're rich.

Yes, day gaming possibilities are endless on campus.

For every cute girl you see out partying, there are 3 more who are home studying.

International students, drama students, math/science chicks, etc, etc.

You can work many different sub-sets of students.

Work the party girls at night in the bars and work the intellectual girls in the afternoons in the library.

I agree. Logistics, social skills, $$$, and game.

You will do well!

Lone wolf can work. Social circle can work. Do both.

Integrate into whatever social circles you can. But, also, don't be afraid to roll solo and ditch the crowd when you want to.

In conclusion, I will say this..

It's a good idea IF you have the money to do it right. Don't live in some shitty apartment with 4 roommates, 30 minutes from the action, and taking the bus everywhere.

Do it right!!! Get a badass apartment in a great location and set up your look and wardrobe to attract these young SoCal girls.

I think the biggest thing is logistics. You will be surrounded by drunk girls, smoothly and quickly getting them into your bedroom will be the key.

Day Game is all day, everyday.

Surf and chase pussy. Sounds like a good plan to me!

Go for it. Go hard. You are entering your prime. Enjoy it bro!

WARNING:

Be careful!

Long term financial security is more important then pussy. Health and wealth are more important then pussy. Peace of mind is more important then pussy. Pussy is actually highly overrated. Pussy can kill you, it can drain your money, time, and energy if you are not careful.

Get pussy on your terms. Don't sacrifice everything just for some ass. It's not worth it.

Get pussy without letting pussy get you.

Travesty444, I think the plan has some merit.

Can you surf?

Throwing parties, or maybe promoting some nights at some bars there could be golden.

I think a old-school Caddy or a Muscle car could also help your cause depending on your steez.

Keep us updated on this one. Interested in how it turns out.

I can surf, beginnner level. Living in the OC right now and have for a decade on and off. Can bodyboard with fins better. I am an advanced snowboarder from living in Colorado for 5 years, so balance sports are natural to me, so is swimming. Taking some one on one lessons and going to surf with my surfer friends this summer to make up for lost time (realizing how foolish I have been making other things in life a higher priority living here).

Love Caddies, actually drove my pop's 89' white Eldorado 2-door V-8 with blue top and spoke rims to college in Colorado for a few years. Had cigarette lighters and ash trays in the back seat. Always a fan favorite. To bad it always had starter problems and is now gone. Actually may have to buy a new car if I move up there.

I have only done the beginning of locking a place down going to a bar I like maybe 5 or 6 times in a month, knowing the bartenders, bouncer tipping well etc.. and building that comfort of "this is my bar, anyone I meet here is my guest" sort of feel after you establish that rapport with the place. Need to up that game. I think we like the same sorts of places, read you enjoyed Landmark in CDM, that place was great, got overrun with insane douchebaggery, lines, and bottle service outta my cash range a few years ago, stopped going.

Don't know if I have the promoter personality. I can be charming and high energy when need be, but I think I am a little closer to a Roosh lower key vibe, thinker and analyzer overall, than the all out smooth promoter. Don't get me wrong though I get boisterous, laugh, and smile more than most when the good times are happening, I love to party it is in my genes. Who knows if I went out 4, 5 nights a week to bars 2 blocks away I may build enough comfort after a month or two to get curious about it.

What will you be doing for money? Do you have a lot of savings?

That has always been the problem with Santa Barbara: lack of job opportunities beyond just working at a bar or restaurant or other shit-job making minimum wage. Plus, rent in Santa Barbara is expensive, especially if you want a decent pad. That is the reason for the lack of competition from non-students in regards to gaming women. If you figure out an angle to make money in SB, then you will definitely have more fun. You may also have to get a roommate, which can be good or bad depending on how much he likes to party.

I go back to SB and hit up State Street every now and then, and it definitely helps to play the "student angle" (if you are young enough to pull it off) like you are planning because those UCSB chicks are pretty vapid and mainly know how to talk about school and partying.

Here's my angle:

I got about $40k, no debt. A master's degree in computer science. Surprisingly I am not an aspie or an awkward, unathletic man. Got my bachelor's in business and psychology at #1 huge party university, where I partied, drugged, and snowboarded hard.

Here's the dilemma:

I'd have enough savings either way to make it through a year living in a 1 BR either on State Street, or near one of the 2 campuses. I think State Street is my better bet. Day game on weekends on campuses near the libraries hit up the book worm chicks away from home, or the bunnies on the beach. Rack the bar chicks on the weekends.

This is the tough question, take year to build my lockdown "small pond" Game to get ready for Higher Game in big boy cities while risking a knock back in my career? I think I can be worth it and on my death bed I imagine if I take a gig in S.F., Chicago, Austin wherever for the career path I would regret what could be an epic year in SB that money cannot buy.

My ultimate goal anyways is to become skilled enough at my craft to just sell software licenses for a product I create hopefully to the medical fields (lots of $$$ sitting on the table there for decades to come) sell my company and pack up the tents to Monte Carlo (insert Dreamville here). So a career and $$$ is still important, my overall plan was to "Game The Fuck Up" until I am 34 or so then go full blow $$$. Already spent 3+ years doing the grad school thing in my youth, sacrifice has its limits. I always thought use your youth to your advantage while you still can with the younger chicas.

Hearing Gio's voice on this one.

Looking for opinions:

Santa Barbara has a population of 90k. Of that number between UCSB and SBCC you have 40k students. Looking beyond this you have the advantage that Santa Barbara is too far from anywhere to be a daily commuter school and a hassle to even be a weekend clear out school (2hrs from L.A.) Most of the population that is not students is retirees and rich people's second homes. Little to no non-student competition.

With all this information in mind I am 28, known and lived in SoCal for over a decade, I think moving there for day gaming and bar gaming college girls while making the beach scene and surfing my life for a year right now wouldn't be a bad idea.

Hell if I got places on lock down, all upperclassmen girls go crazy for bars at 21+ because they get sick of the house party scene, and the amount of older guys to lay in that house party/frat scene shrinks as time goes on. If you got SB bars on lock and are a guy a little older playing the angle you go to grad school there if you have to (I just finished grad school so easy to sell for me), you can be a nice little commodity of being the slightly older experienced guy.

Upperclassmen frat guys rack up all that freshman and sophmore ass at house parties, not worried about that. Hell Gio would say there would still be boatloads to go around after that, it is a university and there are big subset of chicks that are there to study become a marine biologist or kid doctor and too shy to get into that scene, you can break them down yourself.

Upper class girls aren't as down with fucking the freshman guys (definitely not as easy to pull off a frosh/soph guy banging junior/senior girls). These upperclass girls start looking for the next best thing. A guy living the beach lifestyle with logistics, and places on lockdown with more cash to throw around than the average college dude I think could clean up.

I also have had the experience that social circle game I only think works to a man's advantage if it is his social circle and he has sway over who is in it. Trying to join in on some chick's social circle is too much cock-block, and beating her "friend committee", plus history and drama to boot. Better off being the lone anonymous wolf to her or pulling her to your scene.

I am tall, keep in good shape (lifting heavy, swimming), have the laid back SoCal vibe, can turn up the to "bro" vibe if need be on certain chicks, I got party stamina, old liquor and greens never can hold me down, shots invited.

Hell if I cleaned up year 1 may stay for another year or two. After that experience I could move to a "big boy" city like Miami, Montreal etc, and get a nice trial run in locking down places and logistics.

Really interested in what you guys think, respect your opinions, I consider myself an intermediate and upcoming at the Game.

Especially if Gio decides to drop in, that would be gold.

What will you be doing for money? Do you have a lot of savings?

How's the competition to be a promoter in SB? Don't need it to be a money-maker, just be one of the top dogs in the scene.

Might consider getting a master's in Marketing or Psychology, I think that's what the pretty girls are taking. I'm guessing the enrollment requirements are easier for SBCC than UCSB.

Problem with being a promoter in SB is the club scene is really, really small. SB really has more of a bar scene that is dominated by the college crowd. SB is not like LA where you can actually make money being a promoter. Thus, I am not sure if the promoter angle is viable in SB.

SBCC is a community college and only offers AA degrees and the transfer curriculum to 4-year schools. As for getting a master's degree at UCSB, I would skip doing that unless you are seriously thinking about getting a master's degree for career reasons. UCSB is a pretty competitive school to get into and I don't think it is worth is to spend lots of money getting an additional degree at UCSB if all you want to do is chase girls. It would be a wiser strategy to just move to SB, get a job there, and chase girls on the side. You can always take a few classes at SBCC on the side and play the college scene there as well (classes at SBCC are cheap).

I wanted to especially thank G and Gio for responding. Both of your presences and contributions on this board are never wasted with me.

G- I seek that Higher Level of Game, longevity, custom suits, and stacking paper as time goes on. Always said I would buy a truck load of cigarette cartons if they cured cancer, I know I am being weesh here haha, I will still jump on the sweet euphoric feeling to enjoy a cigarette when any of my girls are smokers. Too bad they all like peppermint menthols. What is your smoke of choice?

Gio - I admire your positive energy, innovative day game, and I have a weakness for young pieces of ass 18-22. So you are a hero in my world.

I have had this seed of thought growing in my head over the past few months. Finished my grad school shit a year ago and locked down that "first career job" for the income. Now I got time to think.

Roosh is my philosopher. Following his wisdom I wanted to really push myself from intermediate player to just plain smooth player.

My goal is do a year anywhere in a college town, resort town, or downtown metropolis and do a 1,500 approach year. Roughly 4-5 approaches a day and never letting myself slip behind.

Probably only done a couple hundred in my life and I have many things to my advantage other players do not. I am not living up to my potential. I thought the 1,500 approach year would be a good way to kick start this.

My first ideas were to go to a big-boy town for the career/$$$ right away (in O.C. right now - girls are good looking I have to admit, and very diverse. Logistics and access are a fucking nightmare).

Speaking of the future though I think I will grow to follow G's path of the late 20s early 30's women with amazing pilate bodies, killer dress style, and hopefully a touch of class. Need that skill and paper first.

I have a good tech job right now.

Here's the dilemma:

Santa Barbara has a nice little ring of tech jobs I am sure I could get one under my pay grade that would swing my career and paygrade back a step.

Or I can just say fuck it, got the cash, diploma, year+ on my resume, I got on a vacay to SB for a year to game and maybe pick up a bartending gig. Something I'd like opinions on.

Worth taking the career punch? If I go should I go full blow and just find a part time bartending gig and game the rest of the time?

I'd have enough savings either way to make it through a year living in a 1 BR either on State Street, or near one of the 2 campuses. I think State Street is my better bet. Day game on weekends on campuses near the libraries hit up the book worm chicks away from home, or the bunnies on the beach. Rack the bar chicks on the weekends.

If I shave and wear a "bro-y" ball cap I can look 25. No baldy or receding hairline for me right now.

I think it would be worth it to see if you can get a tech job in SB. Money goes quickly in SB (trust me), and even though you have a significant savings, you would be better situated to stay longer in SB if you have a job that pays decent. Plus, you won't have side-tracked your career that much since you will at least be working in your field.

Only problem is that if you are working a serious job, you will have less time to game chicks and will not be able to go "all out" several nights a week since you will have to work the next day. Also, working as a techie will not be a turn on to chicks in SB, so you may have to deal with that (you could always be vague about what you do).

Worked a serious job while in grad school, partied and nailed chicks on the side, work a serious job now still do that. Taking a lower rung job there would be cake go out Wed-Sat night bars close at 1:30 like G always makes fun of, 6 hours sleep you are ready for work.

If I just want to have sex I can tell the girls I am a NASA certifiable astronaut. To the smarter girls I sometimes attract and would want to lend some truth to when I tell them my plan is to end up working for myself with the ability to be mobile and create some serious wealth for myself they usually see my ambition. The dumb chicks can think I am a taco stand man they just wanna party.

I only need 3 to 4 hours of hanging out with a chick to get the bang on average. Background is a breeze. Honestly if I surf enough when I am out there I could say I am a private surf instructor and charge these ladies for a lesson after I have sex with them. Play them like a record.

I follow pretty much a 90/10 rules of a chick talking until I get with her, I think any guy that opines on and on about the way he makes his living is making life hard on himself pre-sex. And after sex if she disrespects the way I choose to make money she can hit the bricks.

For me, this is an easy question.

Money Over Bitches!

Don't sacrifice your career for some pussy. I don't think its worth it.

Move to a big city and start making alot of money. This is more important then pussy.

Think long term. The beach will always be there. College girls will always be there.

If you a making good money, you can vacation in SB every summer.

If you are making good money, you can buy a 2nd condo or home in SB.

Unless, you are viewing this as a year long celebration of your accomplishments. Sort of a year long graduation party. If thats what you want to do and thats what you feel you need to do to have no regrets in life then do it. After I got my masters degree, I went to Brazil for 6 months, basically, the same thing you are doing here.

If thats the case, then do it. Just like many people go to Europe for a few months after graduation.

Or, could you just get a decent job in Santa Barbara that would be good for your career?

That would be ideal.

It sounds like you just want to take a year off and party?

It that is what you want to do and that is what you feel you need to do to be happy then by all means do it, and do it right.

However, I don't like idea of burning through 40k in cash. That money could be invested in something better then booze, drugs, and pussy.

But, again, if you just want to take a year off from the grind and party, then go for it. You have to follow the truths of your heart and imagination. If you need a year off, fuck it, enjoy it.

Quote: (05-24-2013 06:42 PM)Travesty444 Wrote:

I sort of disagree.

Money CAN buy the beach, money CAN buy surfing, money CAN buy partying and money CAN buy bitches.

All of these things can be purchased.

If you have the money, you can fly to Brazil to surf and party with beautiful women.

If you have the money you can fly to Hawaii to surf.

If you have the money, you can easily fly to the most beautiful surf spots in the world.

If you have the money, you can easily be accompanied by beautiful young women.

If you are making good money, you can take a vacation every year to a beautiful place with beautiful women.

Think long term.

Or, maybe Santa Barbara is your dream location. Maybe, you are happiest in Santa Barbara. If thats the case, then get a job there and enjoy.

I guess my main point is this -- If, in your heart, you need a year off to just surf and chase young pussy, then do it.

But, don't think you can't get waves and pussy at any time because you can get waves and pussy at any time. Waves and pussy will be here long after we are gone.

Waves and pussy are always available to a man with money.

I suspect that you just want to take a year off and party. If this is the case, then get a job bartending on State St. and enjoy yourself.

Yes, of course, its easy to pull younger chicks when you are young but its not hard to pull younger chicks throughout your 30's either, assuming you have the lifestyle.

Your youth is also when you can get a head start career wise and start building wealth.

I hope this makes sense..

Money Over Bitches.

Think long term money and girls.

It's not about 1 year of girls on the beach, it's about a lifetime of girls on the beach.

But, honestly, this sounds like something you really want to do and would regret not doing, so, in that case, go for it. ONLY YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR HEART WILL REGRET.

A couple of IVFP tips that might seem obvious but are not when you're drunk:
do NOT run from them;
do NOT say you forgot your ID and give them fake info;
do NOT slap asses on dp if they're around, even if the girl is your friend.

Trust me.

As for parties and chicks, PM me if you want some tips. I would be surprised if there was anyone in this board who knows IV as well as I do [Image: smile.gif]

No.

#3 tie between smooth drug guys and frat boys from top 2 frats (UCSB is not a big greek school, the real scene is dp-centric)

However, there's so much talent that as long as you've got confidence, are in good shape and fairly social (i.e. decent social circle), you can get laid a lot and with quality girls.

I would say this is also true of any coastal school in Southern California.

#2 would be smooth Drug Guys.

#3 would be rich guys.

#4 would be jocks

#5 would be gayer pretty boys.

No.

#1 soccer and basketball jocks. Guaranteed.

#2 surfer guys from OC (not the hippie surfer type, the bro surfer type - ripped, trucker-hat-wearing cocky dude from a rich a family)

Enjoy!

Fair enough.

Times change.

Really, soccer?

UCSB doesn't have a football team, so the most popular collegiate sports are soccer and basketball.

In fact, soccer is popular because the UCSB soccer team is actually pretty good.

Giovonny has spoken a lot of truth in this thread. His comments about money over bitches, etc. reminds of this quote I heard sort of goes like this.

Play first, work later or work first, play later. Whatever you do last, you do longest.

Doesn't mean you can't have fun and work at the same time.

Fate whispers to the warrior, "You cannot withstand the storm." And the warrior whispers back, "I am the storm."

Women and children can be careless, but not men - Don Corleone

A couple of IVFP tips that might seem obvious but are not when you're drunk:
do NOT run from them;
do NOT say you forgot your ID and give them fake info;
do NOT slap asses on dp if they're around, even if the girl is your friend.

Trust me.

As for parties and chicks, PM me if you want some tips. I would be surprised if there was anyone in this board who knows IV as well as I do [Image: smile.gif]

...do NOT throw a half-eaten Freebirds burrito at the taxi in front of them.

Dont whip your D out in the street. Def don't run around DP w/glass bottles.

Do follow the ambulances to the best house parties.

Don't piss on a fire hydrant (friends spent the night in jail for that one). Actually don't piss anywhere visible from the street.

Don't steal from people's houses. You will be attacked with bats, shovels, and/or 40's (personally seen all 3).

Don't sit on the curb at night. Cops will assume you're too drunk to stand. Usually they're right.

Don't forget to wrap up!

don't bring a car in to IV

don't forget to lock up your bike in front of/near the house party in order to make a quick gettaway from the IV Foot Patrol when it raids the party

Putting my money where my mouth is. Accepted a job in Santa Barbara to follow my previous post's thoughts, moving there at the end of the month.

SB Plan

Taken a couple surf lessons with a real cool old school surf guy instructor this summer to up my surf game. Never benefited well from being taught by friends before. This guy got me riding waves in 15 minutes. Really is similar to snowboard balance once you get the hang of it. Goal is to go surfing twice a week while I live in SB.

I will bust out an update data sheet on SB when I feel the time is right.

Plan is to get a pad within a 5 minute walking distance of the bars and clubs on State Street.

Bro. I'll be down that side sometime soon. It'd be great if you could share the surfing lessons. I have an offer to learn it from some people in Latin America, but until I get there.. [Image: smile.gif]

The point of modern propaganda isn't only to misinform or push an agenda. It is to exhaust your critical thinking, to annihilate truth.
