Well according to Objectivism, a man should have his happiness as his highest moral calling, with productivity his aim, and reason his only absolute. Banging hot women is not really "productive" but it is gratifying, so indirectly its productive in the sense that it's good for your confidence and your inner game. Basically you are moving through the stage from, judging yourself by what others think of you to judging yourself by how you feel in your own skin. I think this is important when trying to be happy, however I think that many pua's are stuck inbetween stages where they can't get out of the gratification part. It is the most honest exchange a person can make because its exchange is value for value.

Lastly, I know the post started out about an either or situation where you had to have money or bitches. I don't think that's a realistic scenario. I've got friends in Law school who have time to game, if they can do it then anyone can.

I think you could live a player lifestyle with a small amount of money.
However, you would be limited in your options in what you can do with your life. Having a good amount of money is great to always give you those opportunities. I want to someday climb Mt. Everest. To do that I would have to climb many smaller peaks around the world to prepare for that. That would require a lot of money. Mountaineering School also costs a decent amount of money(around 1000 bucks in Darjeeling at HMI).

I also someday want to get a flight license. Travel costs money, food costs money.
Sure, there are people who live cheap in foreign countries but I'd probably need more to live off. I love eating out and food is one of my passions.

All in all, this is the reason I need to get into entrepreneurship ASAP. I know most entrepreneurs fail repeatedly before they succeed. By starting early I can give myself a better chance at living the life I want on my own. I already live a pretty good life and have seen and done a lot of fun and great things but that was with my parents. It is now my turn to pave my way and do what I want.

Game is learnable on the cheap in malls. Thats what me and my friends do. Money is harder to get and probably more demanding. Both are worthy pursuits though.

Money matters. very specifically, you want a lot of it(usually). Eventually, though, you run into a scenario where you start to value your time more. I'm at that intersection right now. I actually turned down a promotion a few months ago. It would have paid a bit more, but it would have just been too much time, too much stress.

Having money and living under your means removes so much stress from your life. It's unbelievable. I'm 30 right now, but I swear I'm getting younger mentally. My rent is only about 8% of my monthly salary, I haven't even used a credit card in four years. Debit and forget it. my parents struggled. I vowed I never would. I even got a vasectomy about 4-5 years ago to make sure I don't have any unwanted accidents, ya know.

An individual WOMAN doesn't matter so much, except for mom, but women in general are pretty important. People usually slip up when they are focusing in on one womAn, rather than many womEn. Dealing with multiple women is always cheaper, in the end.

As for the guys with Lambos and their buddy in the passenger seat? What's wrong with that? You don't go anywhere with your friends?

60k is way too low, especially if you are capable of more. You can survive easily on that if you want to live pretty basic, but let's say you catch the travel bug and get tired of staying in hostels or 1 star hotels? What if you want to try out a fancy cruise, or a resort?

Sometimes you might get the urge to rent a Porsche gt2 for a week, while in vegas, that's 4k right there.
