I will be heading out to Manila again on Thursday, my 4rth time in 2 months, have decided to focus in this market to start building some connections. Has anyone been to the pool parties at te new hotel and casino, they are supossed to be vegas esque? Also, does anyone have first hand experience on rhe QC szene? I think either it will be better as chix are hot and even younger, or worse as they'll be overwhelmned. So gar have only been to republic where I have a magic ratio, but hate feeling like an asshole because you have no where to even sit down and the with the psycho luke skywalker wanna be flashlight wieling bouncers.

I explain to curly hair that I was a little disappointed in Cebu night life, lots of naughty bars and regular bars with.. (name of bar is called Time) I say sure why not, the two girls don't seem sketchy or weird and reassure me I will get home safe. During the trip curly hair puts her head on my shoulder... what is this girl's deal?
We don't pay cover, I buy the 2 girls I know drinks since they just saved me paying 500p cover. I meet a bunch more people, and one guy who remarks when I say she knows everyone “Yeah she's a promoter.” Of course, this makes sense now.

I don't know how long you plan on staying but I would not suggest hooking up with the promoters. You want them to be flirty and friendly with you but keep it to that. They can get you on the guestlist and into the VIP sections so no need to let any drama fuck that up when there are plenty of other girls. Republiq at 12:30 after poker at Resorts World. Door guy said usually I should bring my real ID and not a copy, but it's ok for this 1 time. Place is huge, tons of tables and couches. No real dance floor to speak of, but there's a little bit of space on the aisles and near the bars where it was a lot of older dudes standing with drinks in their hand. I did see 2 pairs of girls standing near the back, one of the pairs was super tall and might have been trannies, each I thought might be working girls... My brain is still in the mindset of Cebu bars where it's a little wary of people and what their deal is (since it's usually bad girls).

After an 'incident' in Cebu I wasn't in any mood to get confrontational, since I don't know what this guy's deal is and if he's anyone important. Probably not, but this is my first night here and my second night in the city and I'm just here to enjoy myself.
Later on I'm back at the bar again and the Persian comes back and gives me happy eyes and asks where I was. She tells me she's actually leaving on Tuesday. (this made no sense, she said she was a student earlier?) Translation: “I'm not here long, just looking for the D”. I say that her friend doesn't like me and told me not to talk to you. “He's not my friend.” Boom, shot dead in the water, he's done. I decide not to go for it, I should have just pulled her away somewhere to get her number and figure out details later. I see baldy making his way towards again from across the room and I leave. I take satisfaction in knowing he's not getting laid tonight. How many drinks had different guys been buying them that night hoping they'd get lucky?
Later on a random girl holding a huge martini glass full of liquor cheers's me. I know from experience the cheers is a freelancer's favorite open. Ask her standard questions, she's failing basic tests (can't answer who she's with, what she's doing here), tells me she's drunk. Starts rubbing her ass on my crotch. She looks good in her dress and it gets me hard but I know it's too good to be true. She tells me the name of some bar she works at but I can't understand it. After a while she tells me she wants to go there and I tell her no. I say "You work there, but not tonight I guess since you're here." I turn around and walk away without saying anything. I figure using me to make someone jealous, or get me horny so I try to take her home and pay for her.

It felt like a little like a shakedown – like if I don't tip you, you won't keep me safe?? I've never in 34 years had a bouncer ask for a tip except for greasing to get IN to a bar. I decide to play it cool and say “Yeah, you guys do a job I couldn't do, here thanks dude.” And give him 200p that he seemed happy with. Looking at it like an investment, maybe he'll remember my face again (probably not, though I do have a look and voice people seem to recognize) and have my back if needed – $5 well spent. As I exit the tunnel and walk past the entrance another redshirt I hadn't seen before and doorgirl mention something about tips I smile and ignore – this must just be something they do to shakedown drunks leaving the bar or guys leaving with girls and the guys feel obligated to tip so they look good in front of the girl. Smart – a little unclassy, but smart.

I'm kind freaking out over something, not sure where else to post it.
Sunday I had the shits all day pretty bad, not sure if it was just the drinking Tuesday-Sat or maybe bad water somewhere. No stomach ache at all. I took 2 Azithromycin and kept drinking water.
Yesterday it was a little better. After jerking off, a couple hours later my balls are tender and a tad swollen. I figure maybe its just blue balls a little. Woke up dizzy today but could have just been dehydrated and Azithromycin side effect. Today they're still a little swollen and a sore now 30 hours later. No other symptoms.
I'm freaking out it being a hernia, infection, std related (google can freak you out).. I guess I can show up in the hospital in Fort Bonifacio (it looks decent, but I'm picturing something terrible) and ask to see a doctor... I have travel insurance so the cost shouldn't be a problem but I've never had to deal with health issues I couldn't solve on my own while travelling.

Woke up dizzy today but could have just been dehydrated and Azithromycin side effect. Today they're still a little swollen and a sore now 30 hours later. No other symptoms.

I guess I can show up in the hospital in Fort Bonifacio (it looks decent, but I'm picturing something terrible) and ask to see a doctor... I have travel insurance so the cost shouldn't be a problem but I've never had to deal with health issues I couldn't solve on my own while travelling.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. I understand the concern that the hospital might be disgusting inside, but maybe it won't be. But more importantly, a visit might give you some piece of mind by at least knowing what it is and from there a course of action can be taken. Yeah man, go to the hospital. And i've been in your shoes, though not in the Philippines. I remember haggling with a local doctor in Playa Del Carmen to have my dick checked even though i didn't even get laid recently. Turned out to be nothing, disappeared in a few days just as the doctor had said it would. The greedy bastard wanted $200, but I negotiated the price down to $20. Also remember beating off in Cartagena, not wanting to pay for play or having the drive to score with non pros. It looks like you need to get yourself checked and change the scenery a little, perhaps even go to another country? Ever been to Thailand? How abt online game? Have you tried that? Should work very well in the Philippines.
There is nothing scary about going to the Hospital in Makati or Fort Bonifacio. You are not in some remote village.

Dude, I"ve been to makati medical center many times. there's also st lukes (which is the best hospital in the country, though I've never been).
The hospitals are the best in the country there. It's not bad.

Rvlefty pretty much summed it up, I only went to the beach on Mactan Island once, it was at a nice resort, we snuck in for free by telling security we were staying in room 302 or something. It was a nice resort style set up, good food and good prices during the four hour happy hour, but as Rvlefty says, its a lot of families, not much of a party scene. As far as Cebu city goes, I didn't like it mainly due to:
-Shitty nightlife: The best place to go is Mango Square, that place is consistently packed everyday of the week, but its full of whores, lady boys, big spending Koreans and greasy sex tourists. If you're going to go, best to hit up Alcohology rather than J-ave (which is full of the aforementioned shit heads). There are other places to party such as Cross Roads and I.T Park, but I went to clubs in both areas at midnight on a Saturday and they were all dead, so back to Mango we went.
Really there isn't a hell of a lot to do in Cebu during the day besides hanging out at Ayala mall or SM mall, both are decent. When I was there in April, it was so damn hot outside that walking even 500M would leave you sweating like a pig.
Cebu is a gold mine for finding girls, but I don't recommend staying there for longer than a few days before heading somewhere nicer. Bohol is only a two hour ferry ride, I recommend hitting up Alona Beach there, or heading down to Dumaguete, which is a four hour ferry ride from Cebu, that's my favorite city in the Philippines.

Had a similar experience at Republiq... I think the club dynamics are fucked in such poor countries. The only nice normal party girls we met were Koreans on holiday.

The bottle scene and reserved tables made Republiq a bit difficult to game in at first, but its a big enough club that you can move around in without being noticed. There's a lot of girls there in groups, it reminded me of Colombia but you can easily get numbers by hanging out near the bar, that's what I did. There were also quite a few lady boys at Republiq when I was there, something I didn't see, at all, over in Fort Bonifacio at bars like Prive and URBN.
That's why I liked the Fort so much, it doesn't have the biggest night clubs and the easiest lays but there's so much less riff raff there that I think its worth it.

Sounds like you're having a rough go over there. Are you pretty new to game, or do you normally do well back home with girls? SEA is a cake walk, if you're fuckin with low class hookers and poor girls. It requires some game and work for decent quality girls though.
Also, what were you wearing at the club? Not sure about Manilla, but BKK is a very stylish city. If Manilla is the same, do an assessment of your wardrobe and upgrade it if need be.

I'm not new, but I don't have a lot of success back home. I do have decent game, I know that when I post about nights where not a ton goes down - this is probably like most guys nights out there but they just aren't posting about it.
In Bangkok most foreigners were usually in a t-shirt and shorts or pants, since I always wore a collared shirt and jeans it wasn't a problem there. Most of my hangouts there had bad girls. I didn't/couldn't shore. I haven't posted about my BKK experiences in detail, I'm kind of writing backwards.
Manila is very stylish. I'm on par with a collared shirt / dress shoes / casual shoes - many guys (usually locals) wear collared shirt plus jacket, I would be soaking wet if I wore that here (I'm soaking wet wearing a light shirt outside in 5 minutes here). I don't think that's my problem.

Browsing the Facebook photos of some of the girls tagged in a lot of the club nights photos makes the Manila scene a little more clear. These girls are hot - 7,8,9's.
- Sometimes they have hundreds of 'followers'.
- They have hundreds if not thousands of photos, most set as public (more likes!).
- Most belong to Manila model groups (professional or not).
- Most of their statuses or hot pictures have between 15 and 80 likes.
- Most photos have a dozen or so comments from other girls or dudes about how hot/sexy they are.
- A lot don't seem to have a current employer listed except maybe “Works as freelance model/makeup at xxx”
This is bad news. "The corruption" is VERY strong here. Every big city has girls like this, but even the ones I know in Vancouver don't have this many likes or followers.
No wonder they're always on their phones in the club - it's hard work maintaining all this shit. There's a ton of girls who don't seem to have any regular income, yet always are out partying. Being a tourist you are going to be targeted specifically as someone to buy bottles. Promoters get a comission on bottles bought - standard - but a smart promoter is going to create an environment to encourage this. Feed you shots early so your judgement is lacking later, fill the VIP with girls who are coached to encourage you to "get drunk and party" and cheers you or "bottoms up!" you so you drink faster. Sprinkle in some light flirting to tease the guys. Get asked to buy champagne "for the girls!" - any guy knows girls love champagne, if I do that, the girls will love me! (Or really think you're a beta chode falling into the trap of buying bottles) Last, fill in the gaps with model guys so the girls don't get bored with bottle chodes.
I don't know if promoters realize that the tourist "dollar" here doesn't really go as far, especially since buying a bottle at the higher end clubs is as expensive as back home.
What's not clear yet is what if anything financially the girls get out of this. There has to be some incentive - they all have newer phones than me, nice outfits, etc.. They don't appear to be the type that would straight up ask the guys for money for sex. That would be fucking awkward the next time seeing them at the club again or getting a table.

I don't know if promoters realize that the tourist "dollar" here doesn't really go as far, especially since buying a bottle at the higher end clubs is as expensive as back home.
What's not clear yet is what if anything financially the girls get out of this. There has to be some incentive - they all have newer phones than me, nice outfits, etc.. They don't appear to be the type that would straight up ask the guys for money for sex. That would be fucking awkward the next time seeing them at the club again or getting a table.

Thursday Curly invites me to a bunny party at Palladium. She has a table and I'm the only guy with a bunch of girls. I give her my rap on buying bottles. She says it's cool, it's all free.
One of the girls is already drunk but isn't passing the boner test and is failing the drunk girl test (spilling drinks, even her own friends are giving her weird looks..).
One of the girls has the cutest face and dimples ever - but seems a little shy and isn't talking much.
It's not super busy, which is kind of nice. There's a few other dudes standing in the back with drinks but none are approaching.
A lot of girls spend time dancing on the stage which isn't the best as I'd rather be dancing with them on the dance floor!
Before coming I had wanted to check out Icon at Hotel Intercontinental. I go at around 3. You could walk from Palladium but it's about 5 minutes away. I took a taxi. As I get to the entrance I pass 2 pairs of girls leaving. Hmm.
No cover. I walk down the stairs, past the curtain, and it was like a western where you walk into a bar and everyone looks at you - the back few tables are mostly girls and they all turn around and look at me.
Quick glance - the tables are mostly girls. Dirty girls. Fuck. I finish my drink and leave. Who knows if all nights are like this, I'm guessing a more regular scene more like Insomnia in Bangkok.
3 hookers actually want to share a taxi to Time – 2 end up bailing before and going to the red light street, the other is behind me and tries to ask the door to let her in free but they don't (lol).
Dimples comes later, she is kind of drunk. I dance and escalate, she keeps moving away but still looking at me and smiling. I ask her if she's shy and she says yes. She hugs me but won't kiss or dance for more than 5-10 seconds. She goes down to sit with some people I don't know. By this time it's 6 and I'm tired, I leave.
