The Chinese girls I ran across and got the bang were KINKY.....
Language was a huge problem but when I found girls that spoke Engrish they were very easy to talk to altho alot of them seemed shyish about their english. My favorite part about China was going to the expat bar strips an having hot girls from all over the worl there... Good times
Which city were u in?
U could just head to a language university where a lot of people will major in English.
In my experience Chinese girls are all quite willing to be kinky as hell just so long as u make it known that her being kinky or trying new things will make u like them more, it's "normal" and you don't judge her for it.
All the girls I've met (my friends too) enjoy rough sex, being submissive and thrown around in bed.
It's like every girl has a massive craving for some dominance and masculinity.

Damn man, that's gotta be the highest return on investment in terms of picking up girls..... ever. Almost make me want to get a smart phone... except I'm not in China right now.
It's not always that good.
I also don't really like sitting there messaging girls, it's boring and I'm a bit ADD so I get bored doing it pretty easily.
You should get a smart phone as u would find wherever u are there will be Chinese girls with wechat and/or momo nearby.

Hey Kane, I've been using WeChat for many months, but not in China. Now that I'm in China I'm seeing many good features of this application. For example, the Look Around application that lets you see people that are nearby you and lets you filter it to girls only.
Do you use this feature alot? I guess that day approaching asking for directions plus this feature would be a good way to get some results.

I spent a few months in Shenzhen. An your right I was mainly refering to the girls wanting to be roughed up when I mentioned they were kinky. Good times!!

Hi guys, stumbled on this forum and thought I'd add my 2 cents.
I've been living in a chicken shit city outside of Chongqing for around six months. Its pretty remote here, and the 'Wow' factor of being a foreigner is definitely very strong, strong enough that most of the time it translates into them being to scared to talk hehe. Also very few people speak English, and my Chinese is not yet good enough to go past basic conversation. So I've not been having a huge amount of success. I'll be moving to Chongqing in a couple of months though which I'm real excited about, girls are very similar to Chengdu there - fiery and sexy - and I've enrolled in Chinese classes to give my language skills a boost.
Anyway I've mainly been relying on social media and internet dating to meet girls (and even so this usually involves traveling to Chongqing - less than ideal). Here are my opinions of them:
WeChat - awesome as previously indicated. The 'Look Around' function was made for people like us. Works better for me in larger cities, because of the aforementioned language issue. Irritatingly you can only greet people initially using 16 characters, thats a decent sentence in Chinese, but not in English. I usually start with something like "Good Day! 你好吗?" "Good day" because I'm English and the girls here have a stereotype of Englishmen being slightly eccentric, pompous, gentleman (which they like), and “你好吗?” as although my Chinese sucks, making an effort is always appreciated and shows your not like a lot of the tools who show up in China and expect the locals to speak their language (don't get me started). What do you guys find works best as an opener?
Okcupid - Not a huge amount of girls on there. However response rate is very good (probably owing to lack of other Westerners asking them to have camsex or look at their penis.) Lacks some of the useful features of other sites. Free.
Tagged.com - this is really good. The 'Meet Me' function is great, girls can signal an interest in you and vice versa. Various cool ways to flirt with girls (buying pets etc). Some fake profiles, though usually easy to spot. Free, there are somethings you need to pay for but nothing much worth it.
Badoo.com - I just got in this yesterday but it looks great. Tonnes of girls on there (not sure how many profiles are real). Free, but annoyingly you have to pay for some features, like seeing who rates your pictures.
Asianfriendfinder.com - Paid site, and not worth the subscription. Maybe better in larger cities.
QQ - I agree with Kane, its clunky and to difficult to keep track of whats going on with it. My response rate has not been good locally (using the find friends option). Will try again in Chongqing.
Hope this is of help to people.

Do you find people ever react badly to 你吃了吗? Because I'm told that some people don't like it from strangers as they associate it with appearing poor. But maybe thats just the region I live in.

I think 你吃了吗 is a distinctly beijing thing, but it's obviously not limited to beijing. It also appears kind of folksy - I've never heard any of the students from China say that to me or each other. Take that for what it's worth.

I guess the phrasing differs from place to place, in Chongqing its usually 吃了吗? But I only get asked that by friends, very rarely strangers.
