I've done tons of research on nightlife. First of all, I'm glad to learn that the clubs in Portugal's cities don't even get going until 2-3am. That's what I'm talking about!!! None of that early last call cockblocking nonsense.
It seems Lisbon has more going on nightlife wise than Porto. With 4 days I'm better off just staying in one city. I'm going to stick with Lisbon.
I'll drop a data sheet when I get back. I get to Lisbon the morning of April 5th.
Don't forget that the bars in bairro alto and Cais do Sodré start close at 3 in the morning.
How close is Cais do Sodre to BA?

By foot? 45 minutes or so! Far away! By bus.. some 20-25 minutes!

A few days ago I met an old Portuguese friend of mine, and while discussing the nightlife in Lisbon, he told me that Lux was now opening earlier, due to a sudden influx of Scandinavian tourists (who are used to start partying at 22:00, not 02:00). So, if you want to meet some Swedish or Norwegian chicks, it may be a good idea to go to Lux early.
I was surprised by this. But, just a few posts ago, one of the Portuguese RVF'ers commented that Lisbon was full of Northern European tourists, so there may be some truth here...
Lux is in Santa Apolonia according to this list. How far is that from BA?

It seems logistics are all over the place. I'll scrap Laranjeras. I'm looking at the Sheraton. It has that iconic building. How is that area? I don't mind taking cabs to and from the hotspots. Seems like I'll have to do that no matter where I stay. I'm meeting up with my friend and he's staying in BA anyway so we can use his apartment for the afterparty move if needed.

I'm leaning towards going the airbnb route on Lisbon. Seems like the hotels don't offer any advantage.

It is near Marques de Pombal that offers advantages in terms of transports, with bus and metro nearby! Also near Avenida da Liberdade!

Thanks for the tips fellas. Very impressed by the Portuguese representation on the forum. Very helpful gentlemen.
I've made my decision.
I went the airbnb route and booked a smooth pad in the Bairro Alto.
I think it was Tuthmosis who said an ounce of logistics is worth a pound in pussy or something like that.
I was even able to bargain down the price using Roosh's technique. The owner of the spot doesn't even live in Lisbon. He's in Paris so he was more than willing to cooperate.
Pretty happy with the end result. Now I can just look forward to the trip.

Come always and good luck for the trip, if pussy doesn't come along it will certainly be an interesting trip, Lisbon was named 2nd best European destination by the European consumer's association, in first place was Istabul ^^!

That map from Wreckingball is awesome. I went ahead and printed it. Good looks. I'll be in Lisbon later this week. Anyone around or with specific intel for this weekend feel free to PM me. I'm getting a local sim card for my unlocked phone when I touch down. Which is the best company to go with?

The best company? Ouch that depends but I would say Vodafone! Or TMN.... One of these two, but VF is international so maybe yeah!

Cool man. I'm going to hit Barrio Alto in an hour or so. I'll PM my number. Just walking around Lisbon earlier I have not seen anything decent. Pretty average girls here. Like 6s and under.

I would headbutt the girl in purple. Worst sample ever. The guy in glasses made 0 sense. I'm going to bed in fetal position and release my tears.
That was painful to watch and I've seen some of these other beyond borders videos. I guess Portugal really is that bad, the forum locals seem to agree. Has anyone gone there on a short trip and gotten a decent local bang?

I lived there when I was in my early 20s. I had weak game and was skinny but had outstanding looks. In spite of my lack of game, I did approach a fair bit and got great reactions. To this day, the hottest girl I ever hooked up with was a Portuguese girl from when I lived there.
I went back last year with my sister. I went out a few times though and approached a bit. The girls seemed pretty receptive. I even had a very cute 20 year old flirting with me and and introducing me to all her friends. She was about half my age. Maybe the key is being tall, handsome and ballsy?

Portuguese girls react good in situations where they are not expecting at all to be approached, and they also react much better if they are alone. When they go out, they perform the "I am not a bitch" scene to her friends and they spend half the night posting on Instagram or Snapchat

What's considered tall in Portugal? 6"1?
Or are you(Robert Plant) NBA player size?

Portuguese people are short so anything above 5'10 would be tall. I would not go to Portugal just for the women (especially if you want one night stands) but overall it is a great place and the women are more than acceptable by my standards.
