Incredible how the feminazis attack Hathaway's dress. What is wrong with showing a nice pair of tits? No surprises here: they LOVE Witherspoon's afwul dress, which fakes curvy hips.

This was a good comment from Buckley's Angel:
"Some people are born pre-offended and get through life by searching for something to be upset about. It must be miserable."

Sounds like most feminists!

What I'd really like to see is a compilation of Seth's wisecracks without having to sit through all the teary acceptance speeches.

He joked that he only got the gig because so many others turned it down. That may not have been a joke. It seems that unless Billy Crystal hosts, everyone is unhappy. It's an impossible gig - you have to be funny (since it seems mostly comics host), but yet it's the night when the industry takes itself seriously. I thought MacFarlane did okay. I mean...it's a LONG awards show, and awards shows are pretty boring. The Grammys give out 80-something trophies, but only 10 or so during airtime. Too much is made over how the host does. If they want to improve the show, have more or better performances. They were supposed to be honoring 50 Years of Bond. Why not bring back all of the men that played Bond? All of them are still alive. How about rounding up as many of the actresses that played Bond girls? Halle Berry was in the house, but how about Naomi Harris, and a bunch of others that are still around. How about doing an "In Memoriam" for some of the iconic actors and actresses in the series that have passed away? Produce a better show, and stop putting so much on the shoulders of the host.

I love their hamsterism

Song about boobs = RAPE!

I like this response:
"OMG, I'm so tired of hearing about Seth's jokes. If you're gonna hire him, then put up with his antics. He didn't stray away from his normal routine by any means. If domestic violence jokes offend you, then criticize Rihanna for always performing songs that talk about how she likes it rough or wants a rude boy. Hence why she got back together with that wife beater."

Look at this hamster article of butthurt, I was surprised that it was written by a man, his writing is akin to teenage girls trying to be intellectuals on Facebook

From there, the jokes just got more and more... well, what's the word? Calling them offensive gives them too much power, which isn't to say that black people shouldn't have felt uncomfortable about MacFarlane pretending to mix up Denzel Washington and Eddie Murphy, or that half the population needn't have squirmed when MacFarlane called Zero Dark Thirty's plotline an example of "a woman's innate ability to never ever let anything go." What the jokes were, really, was stupid, boring, and empty: humor that relied less on its own patently sexist, racist, homophobic, etc. content than on admiration for or disgust with the host's willingness to deliver it. So much of comedy is about the shock of recognition, of seeing some previously unacknowledged truth suddenly acknowledged, but the only recognition MacFarlane offered was that some people say dumb things about other peoples' gender/racial/sexual identities. Which, of course, should not be shocking at all.

MacFarlane busted Affleck and Clooney's chops all night, and no one complained about that. And at the end of the night, guess who was holding trophies to close the show: Affleck and Clooney. Both have two now, and both did work worthy of being laughted at along the way (Affleck has "Gigli," among a couple others, and Clooney will always have "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.") I believe MacFarlane made a joke about when the youngest nominee, Quvenzhané Wallis, would be old enough to date Clooney. How come he didn't bitch about that? Now we understand why the hosting gig gets turned down by so many - it isn't worth the trouble, and you get dogged out by the press forever. I think new talent will always want to do it once, just for the honor, but if they're going to keep complaining, take it out of the realm of comedians, and open the search to performers of all kinds. If you insist on a serious tone for the night, get a serious host who will simply keep the show moving along.

I laughed when Adele showed up. She was freaking giant next to that tiny blonde reporter.

I did not watch the Oscars but I saw a clip on the news with Adele. She is fucking huge! Seriously fatter than last year when she won whatever awards singer wins. She must be spending all of her money on cupcakes and bacon.

1. Jessica Chastain, Kerry Washington, Naomi Watts looked reaaaal good. Especially Jessicca. I need to be alone for a minute.
2. Jamie Foxx's daughter is outstanding considering he hit every branch of the ugly tree.
3. Jennifer Lawrence should have got an Oscar for Winter's Bone, her role in SLP wasn't deserving. She is adorable though.
4. My favorite joke of the night was of the Von Trapp family one.
5. Michelle Obama looks hideous with that kooky haircut, are people around her afraid to tell her this.
6. The movie that got shut out was The Master, probably cuz it concerns Scientology and Joquin Phoneix is petulant and kiss the industry's arse.

Jennifer Lawrence is my type of woman. I seen a whole bunch of her kind in Kentucky... full of dumb ass blondes. I like her 'no frills' ways, plus the broad graduated early top of her class in HS too so she ain't braid dead either. That's the type of broad you train young to chill at home and raise your kids.. she's a 10 in my books.

She looks bangin' all the damn time:

Kosko, aren't you from Canada?

You don't know how it is at American High Schools.

Graduating top of the class in Kentucky doesn't mean much. They probably go to school with pigs and goats and stuff.

If she went to school in CT or DC suburbs, she would never have graduated.

Accomplishment wise I would say graduating at the top of your class in Kentucky is on par with being 30 years old an able to wipe your own ass.

It's like scoring a lap dance in strip club when you are tossing hundreds

It's about as hard as getting stuck in traffic on the 101 at 5 Pm on Friday

She still looks good to me. But she probably spent a lot of money on that dress to look like a slut.

Not subjecting myself to that however have noticed early reports coming out about Patricia Arquette's Best Supporting Actress acceptance speech where she apparently used the platform to bring attention to the gender pay gap myth.

http://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/feb...-pay-women

http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/osca...3mdju.html

I haven't seen the film yet but her character is described in wikipedia's plot breakdown as a single mother who takes up & leaves off with 3 different men throughout the films timeline of the 12 years of a boys life from age 6 to 19.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boyhood_(film)

Quote:Quote:

In 2002, six-year-old Mason Evans, Jr. (Ellar Coltrane) and his older sister Samantha (Lorelei Linklater) live with their single mother Olivia (Patricia Arquette) in Texas. Mason overhears Olivia arguing with her boyfriend, saying she has no free time. Olivia moves the family so she can attend the University of Houston, complete her degree, and get a job.

In 2004, Mason's father, Mason Sr....promises to spend more time with his kids. When Mason Sr. drops the children off at home, he argues with Olivia and leaves while Mason and Samantha watch helplessly from a window. Olivia takes Mason to one of her classes, introducing him to her professor, Bill Welbrock (Marco Perella). Mason sees Olivia and Bill flirt with each other.

In 2005, Olivia and Bill have married and blended their two families, including Bill's two children from a previous marriage.

In 2006, the children bond with Mason Sr. as he takes them out for a day in Houston, ... Olivia continues her education and is initially supportive of Bill's strict parenting style, which includes many chores for the children and a forced cutting of Mason's long hair. By 2007, Bill has become abusive as alcoholism takes over his life. When he assaults Olivia and endangers the children, Olivia moves the family to a friend's house and files for divorce.

In 2009, Mason and Samantha have grown into their new lives in San Marcos, a town close to Austin. Mason is bullied by other students at school and teased on a camping trip, but also starts receiving attention from girls. Olivia teaches psychology at college and moves in with Jim, a student and veteran of the Afghanistan/Iraq War.

In 2011, Mason is lectured by his photography teacher, who sees his potential but is disappointed in his lack of ambition. Mason attends a party and meets Sheena, who becomes his girlfriend. After Mason arrives home late one night from a party, a drunk Jim confronts Mason about his late hours. Olivia leaves Jim.

In 2013...As Mason prepares to leave his mother's new apartment for college, Olivia breaks down, saying she is disillusioned by how fast life has flown by, and claims there is nothing left in her life but her death...

So, we have a film called Boyhood that has been referred to as "groundbreaking" & "a moving 12 year epic that isn't quite like anything else in the history of cinema" & this cunt wants to use the attention garnered to once agin shine a light on a so-called injustice that has been de-bunked ad nauseum. "To every woman who gave birth to every taxpayer and citizen of this nation, we have fought for everybody else's equal rights. It's our time to have wage equality once and for all and equal rights for women in the United States of America."

I thought this article might actually go there...
http://www.newrepublic.com/article/12112...isses-mark
...but they were more concerned with Arquette's reference to all the taxpayers women have contributed to society by shitting them out with impunity for years.

Quote:Quote:

So, Arquette deserves praise for her work as an actress, and certainly for her effort to foreground women’s efforts and challenges in politics. Nonetheless, thinking outside the frame of taxpayers and equally low wages would be something worth fist-pumping over.

And not surprisingly it's the gif of Meryl Streeps 'you go grrl' reaction gone viral that has these idiots tweeting shit like "just this for the rest of my life" & "Jennifer Lopez and Meryl Streep whooping together in support of Patricia Arquette's feminist speech will play forever on a loop in my heart"

I would have hoped someone who I respected as much as Streep would have more intellectual honesty. Fuck Meryl Streep too.

I'd like to say I fucking hate Patricia Arquette, bitching about fair wages for women, when she's rich as fuck:

^ just watched it. so a twice divorced wall victim who is likely no longer engendering the kinds of alpha-based attention she used to embraces debunked blue-pill clichés and experiences a resulting and immediate upsurge in her popularity?

attention whoring at its finest. hope she enjoys it while it lasts.

EDIT: i constantly hope for the masses to one day realize how much their collective feels are being manipulated and capitalized upon to feed someone else's (usually elitist) agenda. but sadly they wouldn't be the "masses" if they did realize it.
