It's Pancake Day

To celebrate Pancake Day, here's a good recipe I found and I made today.
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 tbs of peanut butter (natural if possible)
- 3 egg whites (I just put in 4 eggs because I don't believe in no yolk!)
- 1 medium sized egg
- 2 scoops of protein powder +
pinch of cinnamon
Made 3 decent sized very filling pancakes from it.
Very nutritious and no guilt!
I'll be making these at weekends too!

Judging by the ingredients it sounds more like an omelette. How is the consistency, rubbery or at least remotely pancakey?

They're very firm texture and surprising cook well. Very simple to make. I should have taken a picture but tasted too good!

No flour sir, I asked the same question. Because of the oats, the consistency is quite good. I actually caught myself eating the pancake mixture so I had to discipline myself.
They cook super quick, so be careful not to burn them!
They make a good post-workout snack, most guys who exercise regular will have the above ingredients, so they're very simple.

Looks rather good actually. I might try them tonight as a little treat to myself, the night before my CF-competition.

Do you fill them with anything (jam? grated apples?) or just eat them like that?

You can add pretty much what ever you want to the mix . I've added bananas and apples to it, works fine.

No milk. The eggs liquify it adequately.
