This guy really is like Rambo. Every time a cop comes across him, the cop ends up dead or injured.. What's more, there's not even any reports of the guy being so much as injured yet.

It really is quite sad that the LAPD with unlimited resources has bungled this so badly.

To be fair, the average cop is far from a true warrior. Just because a cop is carrying an AR-15 doesn't mean that he is proficient at using it. Dorner proves that when you fuck with someone who has actually had military training and knows what he is doing, you are going to get your ass handed to you.

You raise a good point.

However, the thing that gets me is that the LAPD literally have unlimited resources and undoubtedly (I would imagine) a kill-on-sight directive.

No disrespect to these who died, I just can't imagine that one guy can do all this with the entire state looking for him.

Heavy smoke from the cabin. The SWAT team went in. Game over....

Can't wait until the GQ/Esquire/Rolling Stone article on Dorner comes out.

Yeah, he is done for. Seems to me that whenever law enforcement uses "tear gas", structures just happen to catch on fire. Waco, here....what kind of tear gas grenades are they using?

I wonder how many of the SWAT he has killed. Going in is an extremely high risk operation.

I just finished it. I now understand his crusade.

I just finished his manifesto. What would you say his crusade was? I can't really tell. Between his actions and the manifesto, I got conflicting ideas on the matter.

I can't even believe they went in. Live feed right now shows the whole house on fire. That whole SWAT team could be wiped out.

The whole cabin is burned to the ground!

Fire Dept is nearby, but police told them to stand down. They are going to let it burn. What happened to the hostages? One is free; what about the other one?

This dude was a New York legend due to a shoot-out and escape from police, and he wasn't military trained and only 20 years old. His name: LARRY DAVIS.

I am not buying yet that the SWAT team went in until I get more confirmation. Going in is a suicide mission.

I wonder if they threw an incendiary grenade into the cabin or had a predator drone fire a hellfire missile at him.

Edit: These chickenshit LAPD officers have been afraid of this guy from the start. I'll bet they set the cabin on fire.

It's amazing how these media reporters can talk nonstop yet say absolutely nothing about what's going on.

The speculation they dribble is mind-numbing.

Earlier today there was a story that they thought he may have fled to Mexico, since at some point during this whole manhunt he tried to steal a boat, and there was also some talk that he had bought some scuba equipment. Then it broke that he'd broken into this cabin, tied up two occupants, with a third getting away and calling the cops, bringing us to this most recent shoot-out and SWAT raid. A couple of days ago I thought he'd probably holed up somewhere and killed himself. That's how these things usually end - either the guy kills himself, or dies in a shoot-out.

That's the problem with nonstop media coverage. They say the same exact shit for hours on end.

Was there no point in time that he could have adequately escaped by car of that tied of couple?

Got to keep the story alive until POTUS gets on the air, then the story will shift for the next cycle.

My scanner shut off which is bullshit but I'm surprised the channel was even open for obvious reason.

Last I heard there was one shot from the cabin so he either killed himself, burned to death or escaped through a tunnel.

What did I tell you? This guy didn't have training worth a shit, he had years to plan for this and still couldn't come up with any weapons caches, escape routes, etc. His only tactic was to talk a good game.

Inside of a week if I'm not mistaken.

I guess all you guys swinging from his nuts are upset.

Good!
