Dorner went through this for four years. Three months vs four years is a bit of a difference. Also you were able to switch firms, Dorner was forced to find an entirely different career.

Just like I thought - Dorner's remains had a bullet wound to the head. Of course, they can't confirm that it was self-inflicted, but I predicted that it would end that way, because most of these things do. They either die in the shootout, or take their own life when cornered and they know there's no way out. They don't want to be taken in, and they don't necessarily want to run either. Dorner wasn't looking to escape - he wanted war, so he was looking to evade, but not escape. I figured once the place started burning around him, he wasn't going to sit there and burn to death. If he was still conscious, he would probably end it with a bullet to the head.

Man, you're a walking advertisement for conservatism as the ideology of people that instead of fighting back against the institutions that screwed them over decide to turn around and kick the people beneath them.

First of all, I am not a walking advertisement for anything.

Second, if by what you say you consider Dorner was "fighting back" against the institutions that "screwed" him, then I guess "fighting back" consists of murdering innocents in an effort to get even. Then again, what the fuck does "fighting back against" actually MEAN? My guess is that is some vaporous notion of...well, who knows? Shaking a fist maybe as you speak "truth to power?" Please, enlighten us.

Third, how do YOU know if I or anyone else on this board have "kicked the people beneath them." Tell me, how do you KNOW that?

Yeah, since it was only three months for me, maybe I'll just cut a few fingers off of the daughter of the woman who falsely accused me. Gunning her down would be a bit much, doncha think?

Yeah, that sounds proportional, don't it?

But forced to find a different career...aww...I guess that means it's OK to bring out the Glock.

Sometimes a man has to do what he has to do.

Even if it is not right in the "big picture".

Think on that before you post.

Not trying to be obtuse. Just curious how many here can think beyond emotion.

*I'm guessing not many*

Edit-The bad thing is, being so bold like that will actually make some of you throw out some vociferous , likely bullshit and weak arguments.

You can flip anything you want, this argument or any other.

Own your position always.

Just know when you might be wrong.

Took the easy way out, easy to murder innocents, not so fun when people start fighting back. So much for his glorious war on the LAPD, they had him so scared he offed himself, gutless piece of shit.

What do yall think Dorner's sex life was like?

From some of the "meme" pics he uploaded on his Facebook page, it seemed he was aware of the manosphere, possibly a red pill dude.

Right. Sometimes I just have to go out and waste the daughter of the guy who fucked me over.

Yeah, that isn't a weak argument. Not at all. It's strong as fuck, eh?

Maybe this deserves its own thread but I had an intense conversation with a friend about this. I originally thought there was no other choice for a man in Dorners' shoes. I would have snapped and started shooting corrupt cops as well. Unfortunately the minute he started targeting and threatening innocents he ruined any good he could have possibly hoped to attain - The hero became the villain.

My friend really put it in perspective for me that there are much better ways to out the corruptness than killing people. A lot of success was done with people setting themselves on fire in protest. If Dorner starved himself to death in the street in front of the police station as a protest, the whole world would be looking at LAPD to get their shit together. Watching someone starve to death, especially in america is gruesome. They would drag him into a hospital, force feed him and then he goes right back on the street and keeps starving himself. And it would only reaffirm his innocence and his commitment to doing the right thing.

Thats the problem, the guy is willing to die for a cause but he is not willing to suffer, he wanted other people to do the suffering for him.

Does this remind anyone of the movie Law Abiding Citizen?
