I think the increasing hate is to be expected. Whether or not Roosh or the manosphere go looking for fights with feminists and their followers, we will come under more scrutiny. I have been a part of other game forums since 2008 (the ones run by Mystery and Savoy), haven't visited them in a while though. The difference between Roosh/manosphere and the game forums is that those exclusively focus on game and game related theories. Even their everything else sections are more about current events and pop-culture and what not. Rarely they did have threads regarding feminism or any other stories where men were getting shafted. Even though feminists are aware of those forums they don't view them as serious threats. Hell Mystery went on one of those late night shows (Jimmy Fallon or Jimmy Kimmel with Jessica Alba, Savoy went on the Tyra Banks show etc.
This forum and other manosphere members not only help men learn about game concepts but they also expose, discuss, critique, and criticize feminism and the negative impact it has on men. They also provide their readers with a forum to distribute stories and examples of double standards with cheating, alimony, and just general stuff you see everybody these days in society that most men choose to ignore or think that it's "normal".
Furthermore, Roosh will be a bigger target within the manosphere especially since he's the most vocal, well-known, and a force behind a lot of men who are on the same page. Some other poster mentioned heartiste and his tweets sometimes that link to extreme right-wing sites. I think that's also a reason that he won't be as big of a target and Roosh will be. I don't know about you guys but I actually used to read Roissy before Roosh and found out Roosh through him. Ever since Roissy was deleted and recreated as Heartiste his ratio of game to politics is almost 50/50 and some of it is extreme right-wing. He alienates a lot of people with that and other sites similar to heartiste where HBD is a big part of the conversation will never become as potent as Roosh's forum and site.
I wouldn't be surprised if this forum gets discussed in the main stream media in the near future.
