The Arnold videos are great, not just because you see how ripped he is etc., but the guy's confidence is palpable. I could never really see this as objectively as I can now that I'm red pill.

I always loved Arnie, since I was a kid, because he was cool and whatever. However, now I'm red pill, I see all these fantastic qualities that were there all along but never really noticed or cared about.

Arnold is one of my idols!
Shame his new films has done badly in the States, despite decent reviews. I guess some people (young kids) are wondering why a politician is in a movie. How little do they know...

I was thinking of seeing The Last Stand tonight
One of my personal favourites
The man has been an idol of mine for a long time. He accomplished everything he every wanted with his own determination and will to succeed. I read his autobiography, and for him to become the man he was by his 20's let alone the man he is right now when you take into account how he grew up, it is amazing. He knew that he wasn't blessed with money or a rich family, but he strove to accomplish every task he took on. He's a great man.
'Logic Over Emotion Since 2013'
Im reading his autobio Total Recall. Great line in the book. He meets Ted Kennedy who introduces him to Maria (Shriver). First words out of his mouth, "Your sister has a great ass".
Maria and Caroline drag him to their private house on the lake by plane still in his tennis outfits (shorts and polo). Next morning (Sunday), they attend church and Arnold goes in shorts and then goes to a formal function wearing it.
Nonstop jokes here. Arnold is a true hero of mine.

WIA- For most of men, our time being masters of our own fate, kings in our own castles is short. Even those of us in the game will eventually succumb to ease of servitude rather than deal with the malaise of solitude

I enjoyed the book, although as mentioned in the OP, it is a bit "aren't I great" in (many) parts! He has a great attitude for a player, he isn't as bitter as many in the manosphere and genuinely enjoys the company of women. He's more in the Jack Nicholson camp than the icy-cold camp some PUA's seem to occupy. Then again, in his heyday...Western women were thin and feminine! Ditto Jack.
He could have played the field more, but I guess wifeying Maria Shriver fulfilled various goals for him besides anything romantic.

Thought I'd post this as I think stuff like this is cool, when it happens.

This always makes me laugh
It is a great book - I only have a hundred pages to go.
Still - Arnie did let me down when he got his maid pregnant. What was he thinking? She is a moose.

Beyond All Seas
"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling

Schwarzenegger is a great businessman.
In fact he was already a millionaire (thanks to real estate investments) before he even started his movie career. He has a great outlook on investments. Once he bought a 747 jumbo plane because he figured buying one (for 133 million dollars), and leasing it back to plane companies was an excellent opportunity. And he was the first private individual to do this.
Arnie prefers high risk/high reward deals. "Turn one dollar into two" is his motto.
Another lesson he learned was when he saw the shitty car his economics professor drove. "This guy may be much smarter than I will ever be - yet he has a crappy car." Arnie took inspiration from that. At the end of the day it isn't how smart you are...

Didn't Arnold give the OK to kill someone via capital punishment?
That ruined him for me.
That ruined him for me.
They need to do a movie with Arnold and Sigourney Weaver directed by James Cameron. Before they all die.

Arnold is inspirational. He could have conquered the world in anything because of his incredible ambition and drive. Contrary to a lot of people, I really enjoyed his book and thought that it highlighted (as well as the above) the importance of connections. He wanted to become the world's greatest bodybuilder, so he made good friends with Joe Wieder. This helped Arnold reach a higher profile. He was interested in politics, so he married a Kennedy.
He's the personification of the American Dream.

What an absolute hero. Such a cool, yet short, speech.

This quote ruined him for me. Guy is a facist.
"My relationship to power and authority is that I'm all for it. People need somebody to watch over them. Ninety-five percent of the people in the world need to be told what to do and how to behave." –in a 1990 interview with U.S. News

And these
"My friends don't want me to mention Kurt's name, because of all the recent Nazi stuff and the U.N. controversy, but I love him and Maria does too, and so thank you, Kurt." –on his friend and fellow Austrian Kurt Waldheim, a Nazi war criminal
"I admired Hitler, for instance, because he came from being a little man with almost no formal education, up to power. I admire him for being such a good public speaker and for what he did with it." —explaining who his heroes were during a 1975 interview during the filming of a documentary, Pumping Iron
