Bump!

Me and speakeasy are like long lost brothers. Mulattas are all I ever date, if I'm to settle down and have kids it'll be with a Mulatta or Mestizo.

Man, some of the pics and searches aren't my definition of "mulatta" or I reckn speakeasy's. I know what he is looking for. If That VT guy who posts is still here, I think he is talking more of the colors of Footballer - Ronaldo, or UFC fighter - Thiago Alves, Footballer - Ashley Cole, singer - Alicia Keys etc. That is the Mulatta I think he is referring to.

Hey, lots of interesting places are being mentioned in this thread!

The other day I was just browsing around youtube seeing some videos - I found the good old clip where Serge Gainsbourg is insulting Whitney Houston (omg, she was hot), I did see some clips of Jada Pinkett-Smith (the wife of Will Smith) and I saw a young female bass player and singer called Esperanza Spalding.

And then it clicked - is USA the place to go, to pick up the hottest exotic mulatta girls??

But I guess there must be a hindrance, since everybody is on an internetboard discussing, instead of swooping the neighbours hot real life mulatta daughter. Is it just the stars that are attractive? Do the girls only date brothas? Or what is going on?

My next vacation is gonna be N.Y. - probably along with some other touristy places - never been to the states before - so how do I go about picking up the US-sistas?

(btw. I am a tall, blue-eyed scandinavian dude, don't know if that will give me an exotic edge. I am by no means 'gangsta' or fly - should I just give up my silly idea?)

You'll see mulattas more in the big cities where there are more mixed race families obviously. But I don't think there's a lot here compared to some places in Brazil and the Dominican Republic or Cuba. I see quite a few here in California though. I agree with Mrs. Chocolate though, just go to Brazil. A tall Scandinavian guy will clean house there and have girls checking you out left and right. In America, you'll be just another white dude.

The thing is this: Black guys can pull in Scandinavia with ease...while Scandinavian guys would have problems pulling sistas in the US, because there a gazillion white guys here. Plus, most American sistas don't go outside of the Afr-Am community for relationships.

My advice is this: Try to get to know Black American guys online...or, wherever. They can provide the intros to the sistas if they think you're down. But, you must definitely learn about Afr-Am culture, and as much as you can about what it's like to be Black in America. You need to have something they can relate to.

That being said, I don't think Brad Pitt or Eminem would have any problems getting with a fine American sista...or, a white baller.

In scandinavia we have (from the loads of american culture we've imported) a pretty good concept of what American culture is - but only to a certain extent, I guess.

On one hand you got this stereotype of black girls from the ghettos and their thug boyfriends, but something tells me that the picture must be more nuanced than that? Is it inconceivable to go into some cool electro-house club and stroll up to an interracial set (with black chicks) and just spit game?

I mean, are the different races in reality still pretty segregated? Are people on this board hanging out in ethnically homogenous groups or what is the deal?

I have already been to Brazil, Miss Chocolate. I can truly say that I have a special affection for the Brazilian mulattas and I do think that it is a mutual feeling.
But for now my family is offering me to come along on a trip to N.Y. so I thought I'd just check out the possibilities. Dont worry, I am never gonna let down Brazil

You won't see many black girls at an electro-house club. They almost entirely go to clubs that play hiphop and r&b. If there's a reggae club, you may find some there which is a different vibe altogether.

Yeah, and reality is way more nuanced than the perceptions. We're not all from the ghetto, and we don't all dress and act like thugs. Some of us don't even listen to much rap.

Maybe I was being unspecific: when I say mulatta, I just mean a person with mixed black and white blood. Like Barack Obama, Halle Berry or Whitney Houston.

I guess in reality most americans black people have some white in their bloodlines?

Yeah, it gets complicated because most mulattos here call themselves black, like Barack Obama does. So it's hard to say who is black and who is mulatto. Even some that look like Sean Paul with mostly white blood still call themselves black which probably makes no sense. My sister looks like a mulatta as does my mom. But I look like a regular black guy, even though me and my sister have the same parents. So it's hard to say who is what.

I have already been to Brazil, Miss Chocolate. I can truly say that I have a special affection for the Brazilian mulattas and I do think that it is a mutual feeling.

-U.S. is a weird place...racial attitudes vary by region and economic status..Seattle, white people are very accepting but hit oompa loompa mississippi and it's as backwards as before Tecumseh Sherman rolled through...like the others said...focus on the major cities especially Northeast U.S....and all of California...

Almost all black people in America are mixed with something (mostly white). There is no 100% African-American ( especially if they are third,fourth or fifth generation). Being half white only means that you are a "light skinned black" as opposed to being "half white"or not black at all . Malcolm X was one of the whitest looking African American men I've seen, dare anyone say he wasn't really black? Trust me, the ku klux klan wouldn't make the noose half long because you had a white mother.

Amen to Colombia. Their mulattas are fine looking gals.
But they are mostly found on the caribbean coast. Can't really remember seeing any in Medellin or Bogota.

And gaming in Norhern Colombia proved to be a pretty anti-climactic experience.
