Haven't seen anyone mention Maca:

per wiki:

Quote:Quote:

Small-scale clinical trials performed in men have shown that maca extracts can heighten libido and improve semen quality.[20][21] A small double-blind, randomized, parallel group dose-finding pilot study has shown that Maca root may alleviate SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction.[22] A 12-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in 56 subjects found that Maca has no effect on sex hormone levels in men, including LH, FSH, prolactin, 17-OH progesterone, testosterone or estradiol.[23] A recent review states "Randomized clinical trials have shown that maca has favorable effects on energy and mood, may decrease anxiety and improve sexual desire. Maca has also been shown to improve sperm production, sperm motility, and semen volume."[24]

So it technically doesn't alter your testosterone, it does make you horny, something I would attest to. Although I will say, it doesn't affect me as much because I've been taking it so long. Between all the goddamn supplements I take, I always feel good and ready to bone anytime, so I don't notice any drastic improvements anymore. When I did first start taking Maca, it turned me into a walking hardon for a few weeks.

This past year has been incredible for me. I've never gotten my testosterone levels tested but they must be at least double what they've ever been. Thanks to the RVF and a few other sources, I've made a lot of changes the past 12 months. I've definitely noticed. My skin is clearer, I'm more alert, focused, mentally sharp, my chest hair has probably doubled, the hair on my head is thick and dense. Even yesterday my gf told me, "Jesus, your eyes are really blue". Little things like that have been happening this past year, whereas the entire previous decade I've been a lanky, sluggish, skinnyfat dufus.

All due to the stuff already mentioned, here's my regimen:

High protein, whole foods diet. Whole eggs every day.
Nitrean+ protein supplement
L-opti-zinc
acv
maca root
raw cacao
goji berries
creatine
beta alanine
tons of water
green juice 3x a week
green tea whenever I can
stronglifts 5x5. Extra chinups, pull ups, dips on days when I'm feeling hulk mode

"...so I gave her an STD, and she STILL wanted to bang me."

I start by getting into a luke warm shower to get wet and soap up. Then I turn it completely cold and keep my body under for 60 secs. Just put your head/face under long enough to rinse the soap off bc it's very painful. Focus on slowing your breathing down, which works to distract you from the discomfort, and count to 60. You'll get used to it. Don't be a bitch!!!

guys im sorry to burst your bubble, but a lot of you still think that sprints, squats, deads etc will boost your test and gh into oblivion.yes they do increase these hormones (any type of resistance training does),but its marginal.A lot of what you read is complete broscience.

beetroots/juice = full of nitrates.widening of the blood vessels/increase of NO = increase blood flow.I dont think there is a direct correlation between increased NO and increased test/gh though.

Things like maca have been studied and shown to increase test marginally also.garlic and zinc too.Really skeptical about the other things though.

I've been taking cold showers for months up until a couple weeks ago when I got sick. It seemed to increase my sex drive, made my skin look better, and was overall invigorating.

I've been using horny goat weed with maca on and off for years, and can't praise it enough. The downside is you need to have a steady supply of puss, or you'll go mad during the dry spells. Does it raise T levels? Dunno. Does it make you fuck like a pornstar? Yes sir! It was disappointing to have run out several months ago. GNC sells straight maca, but I didn't know how effective it was without hgt. Oh well. I don't really need it, but it gives a great boost.

This is the brand I use:

Later I may try a more expensive brand, as they claim to have more refined ingredients.

What if you don't take a full cold shower but let it run all over you for about a minute before getting out? Is that even doing anything?

i thought a cold shower for a minute was enough, I use the sauna a lot though and a cold shower inbetween intervals is a requisite

Not as good. I take full cold showers 8 months of the year, in the colder months I take lukewarm showers and try to blast for 3 minutes of ice cold at the end.

of course it is marginal. but i'm not too keen on exogenous test for the rest of my life so i'm doing all that i can do move it as much as i can. even if each thing does a tiny little bit maybe it all adds up.

good info, but there are some herbs that have been studied. whenever i read a claim that sounds like broscience, i research it on pubmed.gov
also i get a lot of info on hormone optimization from mikemahler.com he's a vegan strength coach but he's a beast. tim ferriss and joe rogan have been shouting him out for a while now

Zinc
Vitamins (A, B, C, E)
Fish Oils
Aspartic Acid
Resveratrol
Branch-Chained Amino Acids (BCAA's)
Healthy Fats (Olives and Olive oil, Coconuts and coconut oil, Butter made from raw grass-fed organic milk, Raw nuts like almonds or pecans, Organic pastured egg yolks, Avocados, Grass-fed meats, Palm oil, Unheated organic nut oils)
Heavy lifting (dl's, squats, snatch)
Pull-ups (L-raises), pushups, dips

The one thing that's HARD for me to limit is alcohol because I usually do night game in venues where drinking is common. Even if you had only 2 drinks a day, alcohol makes it hard for your liver to breakdown estrogen making you have more estrogen & less testosterone which will cause you to become more woman-like by making you loose facial & pubic hair, get man boobs and become impotent and it lowers zinc levels.

As for showers, I take them COLD all the way. I even lather in cold water. It's a bitch but you feel like a man afterwards. It also wakes you the fuck up.

beetroot juice????

Beetroot has boron, which allegedly increases testosterone. Anyways, it improves blood flow. See:

Out of the items that I posted this is the one that I feel least confident about, but I don't think getting more veggies is bad for you.

Hot showers are bad for test? Are you taking cold showers? I was thinking about switching to cold showers to look younger - heard hot water ages your skin. But if it helps test that is a big incentive.

I looked into it a while ago, but all in all cold showers are definitely better than hot. Hot showers have been found to make men temporarily infertile - there was some study done where men taking 30 min hot baths every day would be infertile.

I take all those vitamins too, but from what I understand, the only vitamin that really does anything for testosterone levels is vitamin D, although I may be wrong about that.

For testosterone the best thing is obviously heavy compound lifts, (deadlift, squat, etc.)

As far as supplements it seems like zinc and magnesium are the clear winners.

For your diet, make sure to get your essential fats, from avocado, nuts, olive oil, fish oil, etc.

I forgot to mention Magnesium Oil Spray. That's a big part of my T regimen. Use it every time I finish a shower.
