I'll give her credit for staying thin but I saw Michelle Pfeiffer in New Year's Eve (rom com and yes, I was on a date) some years ago and believe me, up close on the big screen she's not doing too well. Her face in this scene kind of reminds me of Jane Curtin from SNL or David Bowie during his Thin White Duke anorexia period. The aspect ratio is squashed but you get the picture.

In bright overexposed light with tons of pancake makeup, sure, but that's not the whole story.

That's a good question. She is a professional model so I suspect she looks good for her age now because she was a really attractive in her youth. As far as I can tell she is married, has at least one daughter, and at least two granddaughters. So she did have a family and not waste her youth just being a model and the living the lifestyle it brings. This is her in her 30's. Ironically she went gray at a young age.

I found one article that says she was born in 1968, same as me! Hahaha. She has a 23 year old son so even if she's lying about her age she's at least early to mid 40's. Apparently, she is careful what she eats and is a bit of a fitness fanatic. She does lots of weight training which I think is one of the keys why she looks so young. Heavy weight training can really help older women keep the physiques toned and slender. She also swims in lakes, does sprints, climbs, and does boxing exercises. I gotta say she's really hot. I really don't consider it a particularly impressive achievement for a woman to still look attractive through most of her 30s.
I know it's popular opinion in the manosphere that the wall is ready to slam against already around 30 (and yes, for women who don't take care of themselves it certainly can be) but even before I turned 40 myself I really considered that about the point when the real challenges start for women who can be bothered to make an effort.

I do like Yvonne Strahovski though. The few things I've seen or heard her in.
