This is tougher than I thought it was going to be. I couldn't, in good conscience, cast a vote for Mitt Romney, but I was hoping that it would be too close to call. Unfortunately, I live close enough to the White House that I'm going to have to listen to people hooting and hollering and honking horns all night fucking long.
I get having a preference. I get supporting a candidate, even though I don't. But Jesus, the whole idea of rooting for a guy like a sports team, taking the streets and chanting his name, that's the shit that I can't understand. I can't for the life of me understand why people are so easily led to subsume their own individuality into some collective herd. The day you catch me standing out in the cold chanting some dude's name is the day you can just put two in the back of my head.
Nights like this I feel very alone. Thank god for this forum.

How much more debt do you think we will get? Another 4 trillion? 80 million on food stamps?

Equal popular vote but clobbered in the EV. Wow!
But yeah... illegal immigration has now definitively determined the outcome of American politics. Welcome to a new America.
Even DrudgeReport is refusing to acknowledge it, lol!

it was the greatest country in the world. people risked their lives to escape shitholes to chase the American dream. but the children of the people who escaped those shitholes are now supporting policies of the shitholes their parents left behind and the death spiral has begun.

Anyone who actually thinks Romney is a better candidate needs their head checked.

I'll go on record saying Romney will win. It's pretty obvious to people who don't rely on the mainstream media for information that he'll win.

Silvers numbers are a joke. He's got VA as a 66% Obama favorite. That alone is a joke. Romney will win VA. Silver has spent too much time in his liberal mecca of Manhattan to have any idea whats going on in the rest of the country.

Mitt has FL and VA already locked up, and I think he takes OH.
Yeah...I'll just leave these here.

...and we (read: minorities) are here to stay. The "good old days" and the demographics that characterized them aren't coming back. Calling this a "New America" is right, and I'm looking forward to it personally. Its starting to look a lot more like the kind of country I'd like to be a part of.
I won't speak for you, though.

Don't worry, I'm doing that. Probably much more so than you ever did.

I'm a Caribbean American, first-gen. You can take your guess from there.

But all gloating aside, it is going to feel nice to put all this nonsense behind us and get back to what we are really at RooshV for: gaming dumb hotties and making ourselves better men.
It was an interesting race and I won a little coin but I'm glad it's over.

Hey is anyone tuned into the obama celebration? Partisanship aside, it's sad to see everyone awkwardly dance while staring at their cell phones and not talking to people around them. We've truly have taken a step back in real connectedness. This image shows exactly what roosh documented in his recent blog post on the US.

he actually nailed that post. even where we are now - there would be a time when people would invite friends and neighbors over to watch the results - now they communicate on forums, twitter, and facebook

For every 1 job Obama created, 75 people went on Food Stamps. Every day approximately 1000 more people get on Social Security Disability. The black unemployment rate is huge and growing. But this man gives people hope.
Our country is changing in many ways. Half of the population doesn't pay federal taxes; in fact they get money back. As the number of private producers in this country continue to decline, we can look to the social policies of Europe as inspiration. Greece and France have a lot to teach us.
Obama operates from a feminist, socialist agenda. His parents taught him well.
The roughly half the population doesn't pay income tax comment may have cost him this election
i dont think it mattered. at the end of the day you either go one way or the other. i think its more about demographics
