What about Terrasses Bonsecours? I hear it is the spot.
I have friends who go there and get bottles, it apparently works there. The talent I have seen them pull is jaw dropping.

Is Terrace Bonsecours good on Saturday afternoons? Does anyone have any recommendations for rooftop bars and nightclubs for this upcoming weekend? I was thinking of going to Muzique and New City Gas on Saturday and Sunday, but would appreciate any input especially for a Friday night.

Is still St. Laurent for the weekends?
I booked tickets but no hotel or any idea of where to go yet. Short weekend trip.

A lot of places have change since I last wrote my datasheet. Don't bother going to Mme Lee it's not good anymore...only arabs and blacks go there now.

Three great venues for game with great f/m ratio very close in Plateau Mont-Royal :
- Mayfair: new popular place with top talent. Don't get in too late as the line up gets huge. Clientele is moslty white upper middle class english-speaking and french-speaking Montrealers.
- Rachel Rachel: bar. People start to dance everywhere from midnight. It gets very crowded but the setting makes it convenient to approach.
- Clébard: Bar with a dancefloor. Younger crowd than the two others.
You can alternate between the three on the same night. Walking distance.
The clientele here is classier than on Saint-Laurent. You'll find local young professionnals/grad students mostly, especially at the first two venues.

I would highly recommend Tokyo bar and Apartment 200 on your trip. Both I believe are on St. Laurent...
