Where do you pipeline for Kuala Lumpur?

Couchsurfing used to work but just Tinder these days. Daygame at coffee shops and malls still works but is time consuming.

Confirmed my trip to KL end of the Feb. Any gentlemen who would be there during that period, drop me a PM and we can meet for a drink together, interested in checking out the night spots.

Just arrived in Kuala Lumpur. Might be here for a while. If anyone wants to meet up, hang out and/or hit the clubs together, etc., send me a PM!

Does anyone live in KL longterm?
I am curious to know how much does one need to earn to be able to live 'comfortably' in KL?
I guess by comfortably I mean to live by western (american/european) standards.

You can probably live comfortably for 5k rm/month. Which is around €1000. I have several local connections there. Average monthly salaries is not much higher than €500 a month.

Folks, I'm here now, I know some of you like it here, I really really really wanted to like it, I was super excited to come and check out this 'global/world city' but damn I hate it.

I've checked out most spots, all the main malls, and hit tinder game hard and come up super empty.

Your experience might differ but for guys in other places, I'd suggest saving your hard earned money and avoid like fox news- Hard NEXT.

Curious to ask: do you hate it because your game expectations weren't met or also other reason?

Cheers!

Thank you for the info. I assume that figure would include accommodation too, right?

It's useless to recommend "hard next" without giving any personal background or detail.

All fair points--- im Just a normal typical white dude from middle america. Rented a dope Airbnb condo with pool for 2 weeks. Game expectations were not met in any shape or fashion. Seen just a few cuties. At 1st when I got here, my online game was off the hook, I was matching with a lot of *decent quality.. and a lot. I was thinking wow this is going to be awesome, than it slowly dwindled and girls were starting to become flakey.

The city deff has potential for longer term like 2-3 months MINIMUM but overall I dont like the vibe and risk reward doesnt appear worth it thru my eyes at this very moment sitting here downtown in the main area.

I've seen maybe 2-3 white guys with really cute girlfriends but besides that these guys are dating down with uggos.

I will hit the main club 1 more time before leaving and can report back on intel so maybe I will find some club rat.

Ive read you need to approach girls in groups of 3-4-5-6 so that they are not shy because I can tell you I approached many when they were singles and it was the weirdest reactions ive ever seen. They seemed so interested asking questions back being super supa cool and than AS SOON AS I went for the number they frooze up and one literally ran inside a shop like I was some kind of monster. At least the indian dudes watching from the food stands were applauding my efforts and giving thumbs up. They motioned to go chase her inside the store which I smoothly walked over and did and she basically had a heart attack and told me to GTFO- to which then I did, but remember about 1 minute before she was so cool and nice before asking for her number.

I cannot say if this is the norm or not so take all of this with a grain of salt.

I do like that for a major city there is very little air pollution so they are doing a good job with that.

Try yourself come and rent a condo with a pool for cheap but overall it has been a waste of time and money but I, like you was reading posts before and had to come and try for myself to see.

I also hate that weed is damn near impossible to get in the city.

Some taxi drivers have connections/it but its 2 risky to trust them. Im sure some africans have it or other deeper connections to locals and I met some with green t-shirts but they always say "o maybe next week". Obviously, dont come to a muslim country 2 smoke but god damn its boring without it.

HAH! This hits so close to home: here in Singapore it's exactly the same when trying to "daygame" girls. Only ~300km away and same exact reactions. Girls here are also weirded out as fuck when somebody stops them abruptly.

Did you spend any time in Bangsar, that would have more than likely got you a better return.

It's always been pretty straight forward to pick up when I have been there, but using expats dealer may be tougher when you are just swinging through

I'll be in Malacca for this weekend. There isn't a malacca thread and I don't want to add to the flood of useless threads unless warranted so let me know if any of you boys are in Malacca

o wow amazing thank you for the tip. I had heard of this place, but heard it was a bit sketchy of course.

Do you think its safe if I go a lone during the day? Do you just kind of walk around until someone winks at you? Is the quality at least sub-par? Ive heard its mostly thai-sticks?.. that could work...

That could deff take away from the boredom if you are not a big drinker like me, Excited to hear about that open market.

If you guys are just swinging by, try heading to

Subang area (college town)
Bangsar (upscale/middle upper crowd with a mix of OLs)
Bukit Bintang if you dont mind semi pros; still decent for day gaming but quality really isnt that high.

With the same budget, you’ll definitely get better results in BKK.

Zerdame my man, have a chicken rice ball for me down in Malacca !!! Enjoy your time there mate.

Do you have any opinion on the Bukit Jalil area?

I've always gone through friends. I wouldn't recommend just cold approaching people, but in Bangsar is a lot of expats who would be your best bet at hooking you up.

thank you my friend. I will deff hold off until cambo or thailand. Its just 2 risky here which is a shame. I hope one day legalization/decrim hits them all in the face so hard. A lot of people suffering for no reason at all. Keep pushing and talking about it. they cant stop the internet.

Sorry mate, not too sure about Bukit Jalil.

Can add Sunway Pyramid area to your list though. Lots of upscale chicas there too.

Erm.. its probably not worth the risk trying to score weed in Malaysia. The quality/price is not worth the risk.

Alright thanks.
Now my problem with moving to M'sia is that their income taxes are crazy high, like 20-25%!
Reply

Kuala Lumpur Datasheet + Game Guide

That depends how much you make yes. 20-25% puts you at the top 10% of the countrys earners list. Which is a measly usd40k per annum haha.

Cant you negotiate for benefits in kind? Like a better apartment, a company car lease, or meal allowance / company card etc.
