The Swan in Stockwell might be Irish owned,it's definitely not frequented by majority Irish.....Brits,Antipodeans,Saffas,various Europeans....a fair amount of various nationality chicks!

Got more lucky there than not...plenty of choice and pub prices all night long!

The Clapham North used to be a great old school boozer called The Bedford...had decent prices.....then it got bought out......now it has bouncers on the door, enough said!

You can check out what the East End ,Spitalfields,Brick Lane area was like back in the 70's in this film with very droll commentary.....who could have foreseen the changes?!
They were all trying to get out then..
.now it's £500,000 for a 2 bed poke hole !,

Here are some of the best London daygame spots:

Wholefoods Piccadilly Circus is excellent, lots of attractive girls frequenting this place, often on their own. You can bring your food/drink upstairs and sit at a table next to a girl. Very easy to start a conversation.

Selfridges on Oxford street has the highest concentration of beautiful, posh girls walking around I've seen in London. You won't see them walking around in the streets much, they probably move by taxi. They can be intimidating though, dressed to kill. The food department and the department with stationary are good places to meet them. At lunch time and around 5-7 pm the Selfridges cafetaria on the ground floor can be good (forgot the name, it's next to the sushi place), just get some food/drink and grab a seat next to a girl at the window.

Trafalgar Square is excellent in the summer, loads of tourist girls and even some locals hanging around, or sitting on the huge row of stairs, some of them even with the purpose to get picked up. Easy to approach if they're standing or just sit next to them in case they're sitting on the stairs, easy start a conversation. There may be more targets in Oxford street, but they're not as relaxed, you usually will have to stop them in their tracks which is more difficult.

After Trafalgar Square, move on to the National Gallery also located there. The impressionist rooms have the most traffic. Easy to start a conversation, just stand next to the girl and say something about the painting you're both looking at. It helps a lot if you know the paintings and painters, just take an audio tour of the museum first if you don't know much about art. Most girls are impressed if you can tell them something about art. You will come off as a knowledgeable, classy man. Call it art game. After the National Gallery go to the National Portrait gallery, it's not as good to meet girls but it is just around the corner. Tate modern is the best (girls seem to like modern art best for some reason), but a bit out of the way. Victoria and Albert museum is also very good, especially the fashion department is a girl magnet. The British museum is not as good for some reason, but still worth visiting. Two big advantages of museums for daygame: if there are no attractive girls, you can still enjoy the art. And you can do it in the winter.

Piccadilly circus: in the summer there is always a bunch of girls sitting around the Eros statue, just sit next to a girl, easy to start a conversation.

The South Bank: you can walk there from Trafalgar Square, a great place to take a walk along the river and also a very good place to meet girls in the summer. Lots of people taking a stroll or visiting the London Eye, very relaxed.

Hyde Park: the best places to meet girls are the rose garden and the artificial lake (Serpentine). Lots of benches in the rose garden, so it's easy to just sit next to a girl and start a conversation. At the lake they sometimes remove the benches but there are always girls feeding the birds.

Thanks for the info on places to find talent.

What really irks me about London is the abysmal living standard when it comes housing. If I want to stay in Westminister, Kensington or Chelsea anything but the most crummy place is over 200 GBP/night.

What kind if place does a successful Banker in London live in for example? I don't want girls turning in the door because my place looks like something dole queuers would sneer at.

A lot of successful bankers have big houses in the commuter belts, home county locations such as Essex, Buckinghamshire, Surrey. The ones who live in London, will be staying in townhouses over in the Western parts of the city mostly, occasionally North London locations like Hampstead, maybe the couple of good places in South London, like Chislehurst and West Dulwich. Not failing to mention Mayfair and Kensington.

There really isn't a common mean average though, you will find high earning professional and city types who live in nice houses and flats but in run down areas.

I hear you, staying in those outer areas means crippling logistics though.

In what area would you be staying if money wasn't a factor?

Yeah its the big problem with meeting girls in London for a lot of people, even getting a tube or a night bus can be a big obstacle.

Personally I would chose the Docklands, best view and new properties in London, you can get the Docklands Light Rail to connecting tube stations.

I don't want to be cynical but I just really believe London is overrated. A lot of London born professionals are now moving to Manchester, Birmingham. If you are coming to the U.K to get pick up women, then head up to Newcastle or Leeds for a night out; and you will have way more fun.

Well work pays for the trip and part of my accommodations so it's not really about going to the UK as a pick up destination.

Docklands seem to be part of the logistical problem. 30 min by train/tube to the city centre will dry up the most moistened muff. There's always taxi of course, but still.
Is Shoreditch ok? Looking at a sweet penthouse there that's really close to a university.

Docklands is a bit dead in the evenings, plus it’s all city types.

If I were you I think near somewhere Leicester Square, Regents Park or Soho might be a good place, it’s walking distance from Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, and Oxford Street. There’s a shit load of bars nearby if you want to pull. You’re also only a short tube/cab ride from anywhere in zone 1 in central London. Lots of tourists in those areas too.

Spend most of my time in London at the moment, can verify East and Central are the trendiest spots but South is heating up too. I rent in Kensington and recommend the museum lates, free entry and enjoyable whether or not you do well. Lots of students from Imperial College, which unlike every other university isn't full of young idiots.
