Their freshman year they can date freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors. Their sophomore year they can't really date freshman anymore. Met friends the other evening...a couple plus a man and woman I didn't know (I thought they were dating but turns out they were single). All of us mid 30s or so. Second point is, if you ever want to really piss off your 30-something single childless girl friends off, feel free to explain to them why you're dating younger women...young- to mid-20s. Let me explain so that even a single 30-something woman can understand, despite their jealousy.

Pure logic on dating young chicks (besides the fact that they're hot):
I might want kids. I don't now, but I might in the near future. And it's reasonable for me, a mid-30s guy, to have kids, just as it's reasonable for the same aged woman to have kids. My mom had my youngest sibling when she was 40.

The time between meeting a person, vetting the person and having a kid with the person reasonably takes 2 years, if you meet the right one soon enough. So mid-30s guy, in 2-3 years will be let's say 37 years old.

If I pursue women my age, I'll be attempting to have a kid with a 37 year old woman who's probably been on birth control for 20 years. Given the average woman has on average 10% of her eggs at age 30, that doesn't make sense. That's really dumb, if my goal is to potentially create children with someone.

In that situation I obviously didn't explain that, but if you're ever cross examined, best be loaded for bear.

Interesting story, thanks for sharing it. It echos similar social dynamics I've witnessed at office parties with mixed-age crowds. Men of all ages are paying younger, more attractive women undue attention, often to the grating and quiet annoyance of the older women.

There are some older, graceful women who can handle being around a young, hot woman. Generally speaking, they are already paired off in relationships or married, so they don't view the young women as a threat.

I'm 32 going on 33. Very much interested in find a wife and having kids soon. I feel the strong urge to be a patriarch and leave a legacy in this world. While I think that over 25 is a good marker, I would say definitely over 30 if a woman is not married, she is most likely emotionally damaged goods. That describes my scenario. Other than hating on young chicks and guys who bang them, obviously. We are mid 30's with a kid and very happy with our set up.

The difference is I am banging girls half our age. When it comes to mistresses though, I doubt she would expect me to have one closer to our age. That defeats the whole purpose, and most guys who get caught in shitty affairs and get taken are guys who are banging other married hags their age.
