Testosterone boosters

Currently writing a post on 'natural' test boosters as a follow-up to the one linked above (I'm the author of Thumotic, not Tuth) but here's a sneak preview:
Heavy lifts, sprints, competitive sports, martial arts, not sitting down all day.
Red meat, eggs, leafy greens, zinc, magnesium.
Spending time with and banging different girls, not living with a girl, not having kids.
Mixed evidence on sex/jerking abstinence. Excessive jerking is definitely bad, but no jerking + no sex appears to be bad as well. Self-experimentation suggests sexual 'intermittent fasting' (2-3 days lots of sex, 2-3 days off) is a good T and productivity-boosting/life-enjoyment compromise for me.
I agree with MidNite that sex + orgasm denial boosts T but it's also something I'm not interested in making a regular habit. Midnite, JimNortonFan, et al, serious question: Does it not really, really, suck to bang and not blow? Are you just wired differently from me and most others that orgasm is not an important part of sex? Have you trained yourself to be that way? Drop some knowledge.

My friend increased his T levels from 370 ng/dL to 500+ by using ZMA and Tribulus. Confirmed by blood test.

My apologies Frost, I was at university when I made the post and only vaguely remembered the blog. I look forward to your next post.

Anyone try an off-label prescription of clomifene? I've seen that one mentioned on the SS forums. Sounds much less complicated than TRT.
If only you knew how bad things really are.

I promised a followup and here it is...
About 5 weeks ago I got prescribed Dostinex aka Cabergoline by an endocrinologist, in order to lower my levels of prolactin, a female hormone which was inhibiting my testosterone.
The doctors still have no idea why my prolactin was so high.
However, cabergoline is working great and bringing my libido back. You take it twice a week and after just a couple of weeks, you start to feel better. Supposedly it takes about 3 months to really take full effect.
I'll get my testosterone checked in 7 weeks, but I expect it to be much higher than 150 next time.

I'm curious as to why low T levels seem to be a purely American problem? Its seems completely normal over there to have your levels tested, be prescribed pills for it etc. AFAIK this kind of thing is unheard of in the UK.
I'm assuming you get adverts on TV etc regarding T boosters and this raises awareness?

Eurycoma Longifolia Jack root extract or Super Jack 100 by Now foods - all available on amazon or in your health store. Works withing 6-8 hours. Makes you feel great and gives you a boner!
The problem with injecting T or using gels is that your body will try to neutralize new testosterone and counterbalance it with progesterone. You need to work on reducing your female hormones rather then increasing testosterone. Blood tests and a good doctor can help you, otherwise you are in the dark!

I've tried so many "testosterone boosters" that are sold over-the-counter. Almost all the of products guys have mentioned in this thread, I have tried an entire bottle of at one time or another. I could dig through my Amazon order history and pull up a full list, but suffice it to say I think I've tried a really wide portion of all the hottest items out there.
Nothing did anything for me whatsoever that I could tell a difference from.
The only thing that I've used OTC that has done anything for me was Halodrol, which is essentially a legal, oral anabolic steroid derived from Turinabol. Turinabol was one of the original designer synthetic steroids created by the East Germans for their athletes during the Cold War.
Now you want to talk about gains...That shit was fucking unreal. The side effects, however, were very nasty.
The takeaway from my experiences is that 99% of the OTC T-boosters are bullshit.

Get plenty of sunlight. Especially important for Northern Europeans with pale skin.

I've tried several with no real effects except for one. Its called LongJax MHT with Arginine by BodyTech. Has a blend of Longjax, Tribulus, Horny Goat Weed, L Arginine and MacaPure. I've definitely noticed a difference in the gym and a little boost in energy. Also take Saw Palmetto and Pygeum. I don't think any of the OTC natural boosters are going to give you any dramatic results but combine it with the right diet and exercise and plenty of sleep and it will help.

I tried a range of T-boosters a few years ago getting blood work before and after the 8 week trials. My T-levels actually dropped a few points (nothing dramatic), but suffice to say, safe enough evidence to show that they did nothing. All other life variables were kept as consistent as possible.
The only thing I've found to increase T dramatically enough to warrant the "feel effect" is raising training volume dramatically (twice a day training) and increasing calories usually in the form of red meat by about 1500 in addition to what I'm already eating for short bursts of time (usually 2 weeks - after that fat accumulation becomes a problem)
