Met a girl on a night out a week ago, wasn't that fussed but fired off a text after about 4/5 days. We've been chatting since and decided to meet tomorrow, under my choice of venue and time, now for my question.

She's ok looking, probably a 6. Keep that in mind. I agreed to pick her up etc and said she owed me big time, trying to keep it playful and fun considering I didn't really want to. But she's got this attitude that keeps popping up that quote "having her company for the night is payment enough".

Not sure why but this is irritating me. Should I be irritated. How would you respond.

If you get a negative response then ditch her. A neutral response would be to go out with her and if you are still getting a bitchy vibe, use her social proof to your advantage by pulling some new girls to the table or ditch her.

As a man your supposed to lead the interaction. But you are coming from a reactionary frame where you think you need to discover whether a girl likes you or not, as opposed to being in the moment and generating attraction from her.

As far as the texts go use this model: Agree and amplify. That is you agree with what she says and build on it to outragous levels.

No, that would be the wrong way to amplify. It could be misconstrued if your tone is already lacking alpha characteristics.

This one (although still weak and not the way I'd say it) implies sarcasm, jackpot makes her seem like the prize although inadvertently, even if you intended to be sarcastic (which can be hard via text).

It is different, the fact you cannot see it proves you should improve your text game.

Emotes are the wrong way to go, unless even your sweat exudes alpha.

You can get away with a lot of shit with women you're already fucking or you have proved your status to.

Disagree. Especially for the reason you already stated that sarcasm and other emotions are hard to convey. Depends on the nature of the messages. If your having a back and forth convo via text then nothing wrong with Emoticons.

If you just grabbed a girls number and set up a date, for example, and you text her just to organise it, then perhaps you don't need it.

Don't think you can just say "Emotes are the wrong way to go" for EVERY situation.

If that works for you, good luck. I'd rather have a more flexible arsenal at my disposal.

They are the wrong way to go, especially for newbies like the OP. Texting is good for light banter and logistics. There's just too much margin for error when you start throwing jokes and emoticons around.

Well you can keyboard jockey the topic all you want, the consensus here is that emoticons are generally beta and bad for newbies, and texting should be used primarily for logistics to avoid fucking up.

Whatever you say buddy. I'm all for learning how to fuck up, but I see guys with your stubborn mentality all the time and they all think they've stumbled onto some unique secret pickup technique... and believe they are the best new "PUA" since Mystery. Just know that there's a reason why the more experienced guys here and around the manosphere praise certain methods and shun others. If you're getting laid with it, more power to you, but your advice above is not good for newbies.
