This is my 5,000th post

This forum began in August 2008, three and a half years ago. In that short time it has become a hang out for guys who want to be men in a world that teaches them how to be like women. We serve as a counterbalance to those who reject mainstream beliefs and dogma. In that respect we're at the vanguard. We don't just whine about how bad things are---we act. We learn game, we travel, we lift weights, we learn new skills, and we start businesses. We don't just sit around like entitled babies waiting for the culture to give us happiness. We seek out that happiness and grab it by the throat.

The only credit I can take is providing a venue for men to gather and talk. I like to think of the forum as a relaxed pub or coffee shop that lets guys come by to chat whenever they wish about what's on their mind. It could not be done with the participation of everyone here. While we have seen our share of drama, and no doubt will continue to see it in the future, rest assured that I will do everything I can to keep what we have: an open community where knowledge is shared and received without judgement.

I created the forum as an afterthought, but it has become a big part of my life that I look forward to every day. I love reading the words of other men who are doing similar things to myself. Even if Skynet takes over the internet tomorrow and everything comes crashing down, the forum's collective beliefs will go on in all of us for many years to come. Thank you all for being a part of this.

I have had sex with 5 cute ass women in the last two weeks here in the Philippines all due to reading others' suggestions of dating sites on this forum.

I think this forum provides a lot of excellent information that not only exposes mainstream dogma, but also pickup dogma.

Most guys who have started reading about pickup material would have trouble believing that a guy with little game, in the right country, can be pulling multiple cute girls a week.

Roosh,

You have my utmost respect for having pioneered this concept. There simply isn't another community like this on the internet. In addition to all of your other accomplishments and related titles, I think it's fair to say, in all seriousness, you can be referred to as some kind of "humanitarian" as well.

I'm sure this community will continue to grow and improve tremendously in the coming years. Glad to be apart of it.

Cheers for the forum.

I don't even remember how I stumbled on this blog, and subsequently the forum, but I'm glad I did. Outstanding work Roosh.

It's an honor and a privilege to be a member of this community. Thanks, Roosh, for providing a venue for a small, but brilliant, group of like-minded men, dedicated to improving themselves and enjoying the joys of being successful with women.

I stumbled across Roosh's blog (circa 2006/7) when a co-worker at the time inadvertently sent me to a game blog to try to insult me about a totally unrelated matter. Knowing the old "PUA" world, I immediately recognized it as a game blog, but became intrigued by the refreshing, more natural take on game. More importantly, I appreciated the humor and humanity of Roosh's entries--especially his takes on life, work, and being a better person. I read all of his posts (on company time, of course), over the next several work days, including some of the archived gems on the defunct DCBachelor.

I kept up with the blog after that and saw the forum come up. At first, I had no interest in "sharing my insights on game for no reward," but eventually, my intermittent lurking became interest in joining the discussion. In time, I felt like I had to join and saw the value in discussing not just game, but life-related matters with guys who think like me. The reward, I came to realize was the conversation and I've since been rewardly handsomely for my modest contributions. I studied the culture of the place for a bit longer and joined. Often, I regret not jumping in earlier, but I'm glad I started when I did. This place really seems to have come into its own in the past 14-15 months.

Here's to 5,000 more posts. If this forum ceased to exist tonight--or I were to be banned for this beta post--it still will have had a permanent, positive effect on my life.

Thanks for providing this space for guys to be men. This is one of the best red pill blogs/forums out there. It has changed my outlook in ways too numerous to even mention. I may not be the playboy that Mixx was, or the traveler that International Swagger is, and I don't yet own a custom suit like the G, but these guys and others have given me something to aspire to in life.

I'll take this opportunity to thank you, as well.

Your blog has been an inspiration to me. I especially liked your post "Game Hall of Fame" (and the posts it linked to), your "What I Learned this Year" type of posts and the one where you write a letter to "Young Roosh". I also bought 3 of your books, which I consider money very well spent. I also think you are not merely providing a venue for us to talk, you are also a great motivator.

The same goes to the members of this forum. Some great content here, especially the data sheets on foreign locations.

Let's hope this place stays like this in the future. I'll continue to read.

Roosh, all I can say is thank you. You invited me here and all I can say is that it has been an experience that I don't think I would have ever had the opportunity otherwise to experience. I feel that this forum is meeting a need that men these days, especially younger men, have been lacking for close to four decades. All I can say that I had no real examples to emulate other than my father working all the time, my mother being abusive, and I had to make my own way in the world. I've managed to become successful beyond my wildest dreams and because of this forum, I can help the young guys that message me regularly. These days, no good deed goes unpunished, if we can get that message across and try to communicate the alternatives, maybe we can save this generation and maybe the one before from what modern civilization has in store for them.

A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be.

My sentiments exactly. I enjoy sharing my views with other like minded guys, who I rarely come across in my daily life.

It's staggering (or is it?) how few guys seem to share our concepts and belief.

Long may it continue. Peace and prosperity to all Rooshians [Image: smile.gif]

I know this is cliche, but Roissy, Roosh, and this forum completely changed my luck with women. I used to get nothing, now I fuck new girls all the time.

This place is simply an incredible resource; my only wish is it could be something more.

Roosh,

Gonna echo the sentiments of the other gentlemen present and give props to yourself for creating this community; it's brought together an incredibly knowledgeable and diverse group of guys who've had a significant impact on my life, changing how I view relationships, career choice, and travel potential. Consider me indebted.

I discovered Roissy, Roosh, The Spearhead, and other places in the "manosphere" in late 2009 or early 2010 after being laid off from a tuxedo and tailoring shop that went under. Broke, embittered, and sick of the bullshit that accompanies being a western male in the 21st century, I stumbled across Roosh's blog and went from there. Life has substantially improved.

For the youngest fellows here - you have no fucking idea how lucky you are to have this forum and the knowledge herein. Take it to heart.

Again, thanks for the community, thanks for sharing your knowledge, and here's to 5,000 more posts for yourself.

Congrats, and may you have 50,000 more. You are a perfect example of someone who becomes successful by doing what you love. It takes a lot of balls to quit the path of least resistance, get on a plane, and go to a country where you dont know the people or the language. You have provided a resource for many people to educate and better themselves and others. I hope one day our paths cross in some Eastern European country and we can enjoy a drink together while enjoying the company of girls half our age.

First things first, a huge kudos for you Roosh for creating this forum and making it grow to what it is today, the best community for real men, men who do not want to settle for what society would like to dictate to them. I have learned a lot from this forum and I can safely say that without the informtion and community around it, I would probably not have gone onto my first mini retirement in Asia towards the end of 2010 to early 2011. I owe that in a big part to this forum as it gave me examples of other guys who had done it and that gave me the confidence that I can also do it.
I have also met a few guys from the forum, great guys and I hope to meet more like minded guys in the future.

All in all, this forum has now become my virtual home. I check it constantly.
I hope I'll meet you soon on the road Roosh and share experiences and go sweeping together. Drinks on me brother.

Keep rocking Rooshy and everyone in here! This forum is da bomb!
