Well, I guess we can look at it this way: The discontinued Star Wars Expanded Universe won't be touched by Disney, sparing it any additional PC/SJW/CM crap. That's not to say that it had its problems - it certainly did (both sociopolitical and non), but at least now we can separate the two, sparing one from the disasters of the other.
No Politically Correct Admiral Thrawn to see here.
