Sometimes I wish there was a way to vote and lock threads.

I have never seen any of these types of threads ever result in someone saying, "you know what, I learned something and I am changing my opinion."

Edit: And I am not picking any sides here, this seems to be one of those "I am going to tell you why you are wrong" threads. After the initial post to share an interesting, funny, odd piece of news, it was destined to go downhill. I didn't read the all the posts, but I just wonder so neither side has ever met someone of a different race that they ended up being friends with? I know I am making an assumption, but these threads are so passionate it seems like life and death rides on the outcome of the debate. A debate that cannot have a winner since there is no one making a final unbias decision. Interesting.
