He died before he could have a hot wife.

Isnt it a little bit ironic an Actor famous for driving fast cars in the movies wraps his porsche around a tree and dies.

Haha, nice sentiment, but Paul Walker was hardly James Dean!

curious: a porsche doesn't resist a little tree?? (at least that's what it looks like on the pics) !

It's a very light car that has no traction controls and is nicknamed the widowmaker.
Driving fast + hitting a pole + gas tank = no bueno

Of course Paul Walker just distinguished himself.
A newspaper here had a headline saying "famous actor dies in car crash". Duhh. If an actually famous actor like Tom Cruise had died in a car crash the headline would have said "Tom Cruise dies in car crash".
But I guess Paul Walker really is famous now. So the moral of the story is, if you want to get mourned by the celebrity worshipers, you want to get your face on TV once and then crash your car as soon as possible.

Way to miss the point. Obviously he wasn't a household name, but he was famous enough. He made much more of a name for himself than most people ever do.
Let me know when you read a headline in an international paper about Joe Schmoe who worked in a factory in Zanesville who died in a car crash.

I like all the faux-outrage over the fact that non-famous people aren't mourned or recognized when they die.
No shit? Maybe if you want to be remembered you should try to make a name for yourself.
It reminds me of that scene at the beginning of Troy, when Brad Pitt as Achilles is about to fight some giant dude in single combat. A messenger boy tells him that the giant is the biggest man he's ever seen and that he wouldn't want to fight him. Achilles looks at him and says coldly, "That's why no one will remember your name." Then he goes and takes care of business.

Paul Walker was a white guy with looks, his acting chops were sup par. Many other no-name actors could of been plugged into the series aside from him. This is all hamster driven because females lost a child hood crush. If Channing Tautum faced the same fate the out cry would be the same but if Oscar Award winner Jamie Foxx was met with the same untimely fate as Walker the outcry would not even be close to the same.
I have no issue if a man whom is a great talent passes and deserves mourning, he deserves it. In today's world meaningful men are forgotten until after they pass while dudes whom maybe were not as deserving get hyped up at the moment when it happens.
His a important fixture in pop culture but so are other guys like Johnny Depp or even Clooney, if this would of happend to them I wouldn't be talking like this. Their effort, craft, and skill warrant the admiration and respect in their passing.
This guy walked around green screens and did minimal acting. He was just a model for nice car in a trendy series of movies. In the big picture of film he dosn't move the needle.
RIP
But a rich C-list rich guy crashes his car. Like I really don't give two fucks. Call me heartless but It's all hamster hype I can't get with. It's all self-absorbed noise. People are bored and will use any chance, even at a mans death, to whine and attention whore on social media:
"whaaaaaa waaaaa MY crush is dead. ME I loved Paul Walker. MY favorite actor. ME. ME. Paul Walker is ME. Waaaaaah. Waaaaa"
Let's not get it twisted. It's all about them aka "Me".
But the take awy from this all is that as a man you are sadly admired more in your death then in your present. Your dick is measured when you passed. People will you in stone and declare holidays if you affected them in such a profound way. It's fuked up when you think about it deep like that.
