This just underlines the point that you got to work on all aspects of yourself as a man, because eventually being in the right place won't be enough, especially as you age.
One thing that won't change is that American women especially dislike Russian women and diss the guys that pick wives from there, so I doubt that the feminist brainwashed masses will be heading over there. More likely to be Europeans.
Italians have already made their way to a couple of the second tier cities. Which makes me wonder if they have their own forum like this in Italian? If so, they probably have better info given that their tickets are 1/3 of the cost. Or maybe a Turkish forum?

Yes Wolverine, that is what worries me about going to Russia in the spring. As a Latino American, I will undoubtedly be grouped as a horny Turk. Thus, I will have to do a lot of research to find a city in Russia, that is not infested by this kind of swine and where I will be best recieved. I am all ears and open to advice.

Since the lifting of visa restrictions horny turks are all over Russia now but in small concentrations. However in the southern Krai (Rostov, Volgograd, Krasnodar) they are everywhere as its a close flight from their country and they consider the weather to be more tolerable wih what they are used to.
If i were you i would stick mostly to the big cities (Moscow, St Petersburg).
Unfortunately most russian girls that live outside the big 2 cities are culturally ignorant. They have the redneck mentality. They dont have the money to travel to Europe so their overseas holiday experiences are usually limited to Turkey or Egypt where they inevitably reinforce their negative stereotypes of tanned men. They have never really had contact with mediteranean or latino men.
Girls from Moscow/St Petersburg on the other hand are much more sophisticated, cultured, intelligent and well traveled. They have almost all been to greece, italy, spain and even central america incl cuba/Dominican Republic where in each location they had positive experiences with the local men.
I'm an advocate for big cities in general. They attract the brightest, most ambitious and most beautiful people of each country.

Jesus. I haven't even heard of those cites.
How about Siberia. I'll go all the way east if I have to goddamnit.
Even better, go past Siberia and see real Russian treasures. Russia Far East is the place to go.
I think this easier visa situation is bad for us players. A bit of paperwork has never stopped a true player but now Russia will see an influx of Beta dudes spoiling the girls with their beta behavior and present giving/money throwing.
Neil, I have read your blog and will buy your book soon. So was Russia your favourite of all the countries you visited? Or the Philippines
Didn't see this post.
I'd say it's at least in the top three. I always differentiate between favorite countries for traveling experiences and for getting laid. For getting laid of course SEA is the best and especially countries like Cambodia and the Phils but for traveling experiences i'd probably say Russia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Argentina,Brazil and ofcourse Kazahkstan.
There I was having only two weeks of backpacking under my belt in safe Europe and I was taking sketchy trains in to Kazakhstan, Siberia and Russia Far East. I mean there aren't even guesthouses anymore in most cities and i didn't have money for hotels. Some parts of the country they never see a tourist. I did well with my three Russian girls but I really wished I had a clue about game when i went there. I was still a beta dude when traveling in Russia and Kazakhstan but i must say that traveling alone made me a bit of player already. I just didn't realize it or recognize it as game
2nd edition of my book will probably be out next week. It depends if i run into any timeconsuming formatting trouble again.

I got that impression from reading your blog Neil, that you loved Russia more for the individual women and SE Asia for the pure fun of banging a lot of girls.

Well, Russia has always intrigued me from childhood on so it was an obvious choice for me to go the there. The friendliness of the people I met on the road was unexpected and of course having a beautiful girlfriend didn't hurt either.
In SEA you can pretty much do what you want and bang a lot of girls which is appealing too ofcourse.

I don't see how the new rules change things too much for US passport holders wanting to visit Russia. It says you no longer need an invitation you do need to pre book accommodation. Therefore you will still have to use a visa company to provide some kind of booking voucher which is just an invitation by another name.
Secondly saying that US passport holders can now stay six months in a row as opposed to the present three months will change nothing for 99% of travelers. How many people go to Russia for six months or even the original three months? A minuscule amount.
This new visa regime will make life easier for people doing business there but few people will utilize the six months otherwise. The reason so many towns were undiscovered had nothing to do with only being able to stay three consecutive months. There will not now suddenly be thousands of Americans booking flights to Novosibirsk because of it. If they were planning on that they'd have done it before, after all the visa process was never difficult but merely an irritant.
The reason so few visit is because of the perception of what Russia is,i.e lawless, racist, corrupt, cold etc. Only once those ideas are challenged and distinguished will Russia ever become more popular. But even then who would visit industrial shit holes unless driven by a pussy thirst? Outside of Moscow and St.Peter what is there in Russia apart from women? Ok there are a few interesting places like Baikal, some attractive parts of certain cities, the Altai region and...erm....um....a war in the Caucuses. Not only that but only the very intrepid would attempt Russian provinces in the winter. Added to that the fact that English is poorly spoken and it's not overly cheap, well you are left with a small group of travelers. People like us,yes, but not your average American type.
So yes, hopefully things will become slightly easier for you Americans and I certainly hope they do the same for EU passport holders but don't worry about Russia being 'discovered' and ruined. The 2018 world cup will do that far more then the visa change.

There's also the Winter Olympics in Sochi - first thing in 2014. Doing some research - the Sochi area seems like the nicest area in all Russia. Beach in the Summer, up in the mountains snowboarding in the Winter. Am I correct in thinking that it is considered the top tourist area for Russian tourists themselves?
Sochi is now overpriced. Russian students prefer to go to Antalya in Turkey as they get better service for the same amount of money. Rich Russians still go vacation in Sochi. Some even go further South, to Abkhazia.
During the Soviet times
everyone went to Sochi during the Summer. I don't know a single Russian girl who was born between 1980 and 1985 who does not have childhood photos of her with her parents in Sochi.

Interesting comments about Sochi and Turkey. I've obviously heard about the many Russian tourists in Turkey. How open to non-Russians would you say the average Russian girl would be when she is on vacation in Turkey. My guess would be probably not very, but am interested in comments from people in the know.

Well the rules indicate that I can go through a different jurisdiction if I live in state of Texas so will likely work with a different company in New York as I used them to get my Brazilian visa back in 2011. Houston consulate has some pretty stiff rules it seems so with NY, no need to provide proof of property ownership.

Good insight Calwinston. Yeah back in 2011, the backwards ass Houston consulate would only give me a 5 year Brazilian visa but for the same price...New York consulate gave me 10 years. Luckily I was in NYC for a 9 day business trip and just took care of things through an agency there minus shipping costs so got everything in less than a week.
Every jurisdiction is different though. For west coast states, you have to abide by the rules of the appropriate area whereas in Texas...you can get things done in another region if desired.
