Prices in those places are relatively low. But, If you are not careful you can easily blow your budget. Just like you would spend a $100 in single bills faster than you would if you have had 5 $20 bills. I spent like $2K in 7 days in Medellin and I have no clue where the money went. But I tell you this much I had the time of my life and people though Mr. Shiny Suit himself was in the fucking building.

I would avoid Argentina and Brazil since those two are the most expensive countries in South America along with the The Guianas. I think Medellin you would get the most bang for your buck. Another thing to keep in mind is the more people are in your crew the cheaper it gets because you can split cost. For example, in Medellin I rented a 3 bedroom Penthouse a few blocks from Parque LLeras for like $800. My boys and I split everything and my share came down for like $250 for a week for accommodation.

I found Argentina a really good value. I'm not sure why you feel it's one of the most expensive. The price of a great steak dinner with a bottle of Malbec wine was like $10. Chile and Brazil are the two most expensive places in Latin America.

I don't know too much about Colombia, but he was asking what places are great for black dudes, and based on what people say of Colombia, it sounds like skin color plays a huge role there in society, it does in all Latin America, but I think esp so in Colombia. Not saying that should stop him if he really wants to go there, but if it's a requirement that the racial climate is favorable to black men I don't know if that's the right spot.

I know its apples and oranges but At least to me Medellin is cheaper than Buenos Aires. Roosh did a very good comparison between both. For starters its smaller so cabs can be very cheap and all or most of the action is concentrated in a few areas while in Buenos Aires shit can be so spread out. I know people here hate Parque Lleras but I was quite fond of the place. I find apartments more affordable in Medellin than BA. plus, the flights are cheaper since Medellin is close to the US.

As far as the "Brotha Friendly" rating is concerned I think Medellin wins hands down. I got a lot of eye contact and friendly smiles here than I did in Buenos Aires. Also, I find Paisas more warm, friendly and inviting than Portenas. Portenas front a little too much for my taste with their over the top Eurocentrism while Colombians are actually proud to be Colombians. And the final reason is because there is really no competition in term of Game. Argentinian men are uber aggressive to women to the point of almost being thirsty and bumping into your conversation while Colombian men are more subdue and laid back.

Like it was stated in one of the earlier posts, I would think that havine a pocket full of money and not being afraid to spend it would make you pretty popular, no matter how they feel about blacks! lol. It would be nice to be in a place that's black friendly, as well as good value for the ultimate vacation, but Colombia and Argentina both sound pretty good. Just about every coulture now days as a small segment of their population with 'jungle fever'. Lol. I'll plan on a place that has the best value/slash prettiest women, and hope that the hip hop culture has made it to their shores! lool.

My 2 cents having lived in the UK the last couple of years. Sweden is hands down a great place for brothas, not so great if you are African. I never got to Ukraine but that alongside Romania would be my first point of call. Ukranian girls are hot and Kiev I have been told every 3rd girl is hot. However, you are in very "foreign" land and will have no protection - meaning someone might get pissed off at you for many reasons.
1) Being American
2) Being Black
3) Having money.
4) Be able to bang our chicks with ease.

There is a strong Anti-American culture in Europe (re; jealousy) which Roosh has written an article about. I am Canadian and always make an effort to wear some clothing that states the fact when travelling in Europe.
I think a respectable black american who is not a loud-mouth or an Army tool can do well in most parts of Europe. I dated a Czech girl, had a few Polish girls (in Canada) and Hungarian girls seem to like the black men.

I tend to view race the way Brazilians view it. If you look mostly white, then you're white. If you look mostly black, then you're black. Even if you aren't completely undiluted white or black. I just can't look at Shakira and see any features of her face that look African or indigenous in origin.

+1...And Salma Hayek also has the same background. I saw Shakira a lot in Colombia before she got popular. She had almost jet black hair and was heavier with more of the tipical latina figure. If you saw her then you would never mistaken her for a "white" latina.

Lebanese are Mediterranean Caucasians like Greeks or Italians. I just think that many people in the United States when they hear "white" they're thinking WASPs of N. European descent off the mayflower with pinkish skin tones. This is because of the one-drop-rule where basically anyone in America who wasn't pure WASP in origin was somehow "non-white"(at one time even Jews, Italians and Irish were considered non-white oddly), but the scientific reality is that it has more to do with what haplogroup you descend from and things like your bone and facial structure, not our skin tone per se. There is a pretty wide swath of people from N America, parts of Latin America all of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, certain parts of the middle east and certain parts of Northern India and Afghanistan that fall under the genetic umbrella of "white".

Agreed. I am hispanic, and I would have identified her as latina in about 30 seconds.


I'm not sure if its the same way with other races, like a black-american, being able to tell if a girl is Jamaican, Haitian or Cuban Black based on looks alone.

Shakira looks anything but white. And if you would ever go to her hometown of Barranquilla, and she was NOT famous, you would not even give her the time of day =)

Funny, because I don't see how anyone cannot see that Shakira is of Caucasian descent. Like I said, my outlook of race is more like the Brazilian way. In Brazil if you said Shakira was not white, people would think you're crazy. At the same time, they'd also laugh if you said Vin Diesel is black. In Brazil, "black" means Wesley Snipes Kunta Kinte black. In America, Vin Diesel is considered a "light skinned black guy". Anywhere else he's considered a mulatto. Americans view of race is really weird to me. They call people who look overwhelmingly Caucasion "non-white" and call people who might have one drop of African blood to be "blacks". The Brazilian outlook just makes much more sense to me.

One more thing. Jessica Alba is almost 90% white. She took a DNA test that showed her to be 87% of European heritage and only 13% Native American. Visually, to me she sits on the borderline of being a light-mestiza and Mediterranean white.
