Some people will probably learn and change. I myself was an ardent and vocal campus Marxist at one point very long ago and look where I am now (I never consumed soy milk and I switched halfway through university after I transferred though so that could have been a factor). Some folks grow out of it. However, unfortunately, it is exceedingly unlikely that these folks will ever be anything more than a tiny minority or that they will be numerous or powerful enough to make a significant difference or stop the ship from sinking.
