I would say that your description applies much more to LA. I laugh when people say that LA doesn't have hot chicks. There are stunning women in Socal, you just need to hit the right places (usually not as easy as just walking up to the door) and bring something to the table.

From my experience in SF, you will find a lot more "cute" girls. Basic white or asian 6s and 7s, perhaps 7.5s with the right makeup and sexy outfit. Having lived in both I second this. So Cal is where the most beautiful people migrate to, and not only the ones who want to make it in the entertainment industry. All types. One thing this means is that your own value is going to be relative to the field. So while there are many more hot girls, there are also many more good looking, fit men. I'm over six feet tall and in Asia I am a giant. In So Cal I was average height. San Francisco is perhaps a little better in this regard than LA as many of the good looking men are homosexuals so they've removed themselves from the running. But the tradeoff is that SF is not where the hot girls move to just because they're hot, if that makes sense.

Go downtown near any big office building at 8am and watch girls coming in. Plenty are hot.

In the Tenderloin area there were a lot of SRO's and halfway houses that were subsidized by government agencies. Quite a lot of disabled, elderly, and mentally ill people lived in those buildings, along with drug addicts. In the last 8 years these buildings were bought up by real estate developers, who then kicked these people out of their homes, where they had lived for decades. These people have nowhere to go and now live on the streets right outside of their former apartments, which are now occupied by white-collar professionals paying $3000/month.

The aspect of San Francisco and California culture I hate more than anything is how it spreads like a disease throughout the United States and eventually the world. Californians get fed up with the way their state works economically and so they move to other parts of the country, bringing this liberal politics, narcissistic attitudes and radical feminists/PC culture with them. If only the garbage in California remained in California I would have some liking towards that state. A lot of the toxicity of western culture and the attitudes of western women we spoke about seem to have originated in California and to a lesser extent the liberal northeast.

I kind of wanted to post a thread on it as I have not posted a thread in a while because it could be worth its own thread but I am wonder how the spread of Silicon Valley culture across the United States could effectively destroy game in a big way.

A few of my friends work in the field of software and they have horror stories for days about the culture there. One of my friends told me how at his employer they had a company-wide meeting for people to share their grievances over crooked Hillary losing the election. I have seen firsthand how tech companies have started to target Roosh himself in the past months. Then the types of characters you get who largely work in this field such as fobby immigrants, aspie guys and raging feminists that are usually anti-game.

Import even awkward aspies and losers which bring male thirst and drive up the value of average pussy, add to that hardcore narcissitic liberalism, now add in radical feminists poisoning local women and culture, then you have a city that is effectively horrible for game.

I like to use Austin, Texas as an example as the city used to be a hotspot for game but it eventually became a tech hub with so many tech companies opening their offices there. So now you get Silicon Valley emigrating to Texas and bringing their culture with them which eventually makes the city garbage for game as local Stacy's turn into Skillrex haircut monsters.

Even with liberal strongholds like NYC, you at least get beautiful international women and a lot of above average looking women, the game is rigged in favor of men there. Now with Amazon and Google opening their offices in the city and making it their hub, I worry about the future of game in the city now because you are infecting the Big Apply with the worm of Silicon Valley.

Are we going to be left to deal with horrible gender ratios?

Are we going to be left to deal with an influx of aspies and awkward men bringing their thirst and becoming simps which drive up the value of average pussy?

Given that I am a guy on a mostly game forum founded by a man who quit his job to travel the world mostly for the sake of game and founded this very forum where even travel threads are about "poosy paradise", it absolutely is, in fact it is at least top 3. I absolutely refuse to live in a shithole like a San Francisco with such a toxic culture, toxic people and hideous women; hoping the city keeps its all to itself instead of spreading its cancer.

In fact I will take it even further, the thing about game is that it has an impact on life even outside of just women and dating alone.

Cities that have a horrible culture regarding game are overall miserable places to live in. Local people are hostile and rude, especially the guys who resort to mate-guarding a lot more due to not enough goods to go around. As much as some on this forum take the moral high road and deny the impact game has on a guy, despite posting on a game forum, the truth is most healthy men with testosterone have to get somewhat regular sex with decent enough looking women.

No one wants to wake up everyday and look at the feminist harpie freakshows, whales, ugly 3rd world immigrants and overall hideous looking women with toxic personalities to boot everyday. Then on top of that have to deal with the most radical and toxic liberalism in the west where you get fired from your job for being a conservative, smelling the shit-filled streets on your miserable walk home....

I'm a California native, lived there most of my life, traveled damn near all over the state.

What hurts me the most are the many pockets and enclaves of normal people just trying to enjoy what is last of the state. The state and my hometown are completely gone, completely different than what I grew up with. But I see little remnants here and there in the pockets, and it's incredibly sad.

I too, don't want to wake up and listen to a giant populace outraged by Trump, trying to shove LGBTQORLJF culture down my throat, holding me hostage for my beliefs and politics. I don't want to live in a place inhabited by obese landwhales with purple hair and tattoos on 50%+ of their body. The people that I care about that still live there are struggling more than ever and they just can't be helped, they don't understand why things have gotten worse and they won't listen to me or hear the message.

I realized at some point in my last year or two there, and especially after moving away, that there's a certain level of adaptation that happens. People just get used to the degeneracy and shitty quality of life and think, "This is just how it is" because they haven't experienced anything better.

I used to joke about how much it would take for me to move back, and I usually settled on something like $250,000/year. Even then, I would not. Hell even if I was truly "fuck you" rich I don't think I could live in either SF or LA. The culture of chasing status is just too overwhelming and stressful. You can say that multimillionaires there have access to the hottest women on Earth, but one reaches a point where that is a pathetic excuse to live anywhere. Myself, I love the dining and wine scene in California, but even that has gotten infected with the most ridiculous politics. I can't take a 5 day trip to Sonoma to enjoy some world class food and wine without hearing some fuckwit politics about how evil Trump is and how they're gonna save the world with sustainable farming and solar energy.

RvF Forum Observation #1: The amount of a user's posts that complain to the bolded above are directly inverse to how successful he is at game.

San Fran is a poo filled shitty, but even when I go there for work, I still get women approaching me. Same thing in Los Angeles. Hell I'm not that good looking either.

I don't know where you guys go to in California, but status seeking fake people do not exist as far as I can see. And I'm now hanging in some moneyed circles to boot in Los Angeles of all places.

They seem pretty nice and honest to me. The trick is not expecting much from people and taking it as it comes which ironically is something I learned while traveling in Europe.

To the guys who are being overly negative (minus Veloce): Have you actually lived in SF/Bay Area? Or have you only visited for a weekend, or worse, never actually even been there?

I lived in the Bay Area for several years and visit out there regularly. Of course there are plenty of downsides in SF. My 3 biggest, in order: Rent is expensive as shit (easily the biggest issue for me), opportunities for interacting with really hot women are low (and generally is not a great city for game), and there are tons of homeless people. I also never particularly vibed with the culture of the city. The downsides outweighed the upsides for me personally and I chose not to live there.

However, trying to paint the entire city as a flaming pile of shit full of blue-haired feminists is misleading. Try going to some bars in the Marina District on a Saturday night. It'll be a scene that could be taken out of parts of NYC or Atlanta - cute white girls, graduated frat bros, and the dance floor blasting "Mo Bamba". I'll admit that some of the worst blowouts in my life have been in SF, but I can't recall a single time where I got rejected with pure feminist trope, or heard the words "toxic masculinity" mentioned to me at a bar.

As with many cities, the scene varies wildly between neighborhoods. Blue-haired feminists don't hang out at the spots I go to and nobody on this forum should hang out in places like that.

I really think people should visit a city for at least several days before drawing strong conclusions about it. Or, at least clarify whether they've actually visited, or are just regurgitating information that they read online.

I'm going to be one of those Californian's who moved to Vegas in a few years escaping the liberal policies. However, I have a cheap rent controlled apartment by the beach I'm going to basically keep forever, but will end up being a Nevada resident in the next few years.

Every time I go to the Bay Area, I have a good time and there are tons of girls around. Venue selection really matters though, some places get super crowded with bad ratios and I find there is a certain "ghetto" vibe that seems to hang around SF bars at times. I was there over Christmas time and there were a lot of office Christmas parties going around and there were a shitload of hot girls trying to hook up.

Plus a lot of the guys are so handcuffed by the perceived SJW rules, they are afraid to do anything (except in the Marina where the bros are very aggressive).

I like the girls in SF. Coming from LA, they are way more educated, less vapid/basic, and as I tell my friends whenever I visit, they are more "real".

I enjoyed Tunnel Top as well as Topsys for the happy hour crowd.

Whenever I say anything about a given city and criticize it, it is because I have been there. I have visited San Francisco a few times and even stayed in the Bay Area for a few weeks, even the infamous Marina. The only other city I have been harsh on in this forum has been Atlanta but the Marina cannot hold a candlestick to Buckhead. At least in Manhattan and other major cities you get the chance of coming across so many fine women but San Francisco is literally scraps. One of my friends from CA took the saying of "90% of California girls are hot and the other 10% go to Stanford" and said "90% of California girls are hot while the other 10% live in San Francisco". When the writer said the 49er comment about San Francisco girls, I have no doubt he was talking about the Beckys in Marina who were uglier versions of the type you would see in NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, Austin, LA, Miami and even Bumfuck midwest.
