Real easy, don't watch anything from Hollywood. Even if the movie is "redpilled" like The Revenant ur money still goes to people who hate you.

Whether the plot is craptastic or not and whether her powers are believable or not, the success of this movie is dependent on making her a normal feminine woman like DC did with Wonder Woman (perhaps DC's only smart move in the last decade). If they turn her into an aggro SJW cunt, the film will backfire very badly in the same way Star Wars VIII: The Last Feminist did.

Every frame in the trailer shows her as an angry SJW cunt. Brie Larsen is about as un-feminine as they get. The director of Wonder Woman was a genius to cast Gal Gadot...she manages to be ass-kickers and gorgeous in a way that lumpy American women can't even approach.

Maybe they could rename Captain Marvel into Captain Muffmuncher and re-market to the dyke demographic.

Gadot is wafer thin no matter only so much muscle she can put on that frame, even if she is good looking and Larson is too scowly and one note and big as opposed to stocky/broadish.

They should have picked Katee Sackhoff who has an actual personality and can act on on more than 2 settings. (I'm just irked off most of the cast of Battlestar Galactica had stardom side step them after the series was over). Though I did some reading she made a tweet about pro gun connotations and pro gun safety after a mass shooting few years ago, where she lost half her followers. Well that's the end of that. They'd only have dressed her down for the role anyway as they are so wont to to do.

Brie Larson doesn't have an ass but I wouldn't call her butch. In fact, with that vaguely valley-girl speech pattern she's almost too girly to be plausible as a trained Kree soldier. They don't show much of her body off but I don't get the sense that she trained at all prior to this. The way she carries herself, her mannerisms, her body language, all of it screams "young soccer-mom". She looks like she's clumsy enough to trip in the supermarket checkout line or spill her mochachino on her while talking too aggressively on the phone in her SUV.

The net result is gonna be some serious Mary Sue the way powers are just sort of bestowed upon her and she doesn't have to skill up to be badass.

She was in Longmire and 24 so she hasn't done so bad.

Honestly, I don't know. The box office result of Infinity War was the peak and all goes downhill from there, just my guess.

The fact that a safe space was made for MCU fans as a result of the ending terrified me. If you can't handle an ending to a movie, how the hell are you going to handle bad things in real life? Or if their films get shittier or actors leave?

It wouldn't matter because SJW bloggers and film pundits are the one in the same to me will defend the films to their grave no matter how shitty they are and buy dozen of tickets and trash any competition with weaponized autism.

Thor: Stripped of power and banished to the wilderness by the father he idolizes. Chooses to die to save others.

Wonder Woman: Allows her boyfriend to die so she can become a god. Her powers are ultimately useless so she becomes a museum curator and goes to cocktail parties.

Captain Marvel: Randomly chosen to be given godlike powers. Uses them to make her hair more bouncy and natural.

Every time you want to respect women less, just watch one of these movies.
